Abstract

This research aims to optimize social media platforms to foster active public engagement in tackling climate change and environmental conservation. Social media enables rapid and widespread dissemination of information, creates space for public discussion, and encourages collective action on environmental issues. In this study, researchers applied a qualitative method with a systematic literature review approach, using bibliometric analysis using the Scopus database. The analysis results show a significant increase in publications related to this topic from 2019 to 2024, reflecting the important role of social media in climate change mitigation efforts. With interactive features such as hashtags and online campaigns, social media strengthens awareness and collaboration across communities, governments, and the private sector. In addition, social media plays a role in building digital communities that support each other in promoting environmentally friendly behaviors. The study also highlights the importance of managing accurate information to avoid disinformation and maximize the positive impact of digital platforms on sustainable environmental policy advocacy.

Abstract

This study uses a scientometric approach to analyze the evolution and maturity of digital transformation in research and development (R&D) over the past decade. For this purpose, bibliometric data from the Scopus database was searched from 2015 to 2024. The resulting dataset of 495 articles was then exported in CSV format. The results showed that the evolution of digital transformation has had a major impact on research progress over the previous decade, with digital transformation maturity (DTM) emerging as an important concept in understanding how organizations and sectors adapt to technological advances. This study used scientometric analysis to explore the development and trends of DTM research over the past decade. The study then focuses more deeply on evaluating digital maturity, integrating technology in decision-making processes, and exploring specific sectors that have received relatively less attention in the existing literature from an industry perspective. The findings suggest that companies need to adopt a more systematic digital transformation strategy, optimize the use of data in management, and apply innovative technologies to improve efficiency and competitiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to present a history of city branding: hyper-competition, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. The method used in this study used qualitative with a literature study approach. The findings in the study showed that in understanding the place and building city branding, there are at least three processes first through urban governance planning or infrastructure, then observation by looking at other places in the city branding. Finally, branding representation on social media is in the form of websites and tweets through news, while Instagram is through branding images from somewhere and several other media. Furthermore, City branding can be hyper-competition, showing that business competition is increasing. On the other hand, it can be a challenge and an opportunity considering that many cities have reimagined their competitive strategies by maximizing their internal potential, namely existing resources, to take opportunities and anticipate the threats faced. The contribution of this study provides an understanding of measurements in the city branding literature, helps researchers discover new studies, and can interpret the complex nature of cities. Another thing is that closing the gap between theory and practice presents a huge challenge for brands.

Abstract

The research analyzed digital maturity in assessing the responsiveness of e-government services. The research is driven by the issue that many governments struggle to deliver responsive and efficient digital services due to uneven levels of digital maturity. Technological infrastructure gaps, limited digital competencies, and rigid bureaucratic processes hinder the creation of adaptive e-government systems. Using a scientometric analysis method, the research evaluated literature published from 2019 to 2024, sourced from the Scopus database, and employed RStudio and CiteSpace tools for data visualization and trend mapping. The findings reveal that high levels of digital maturity significantly improved public service efficiency, transparency, and citizen engagement. These improvements are achieved through effective integration of digital technology, organizational transformation, and citizen-centered service design. The research also identifies persistent challenges, such as low digital literacy, infrastructure inequality, resistance to change, and data security concerns, all of which obstruct the realization of responsive e-government. The research contributed originality through a multidimensional approach, offering a strategic framework to evaluate e-government effectiveness using digital maturity indicators such as accessibility, service quality, and public satisfaction. It emphasizes the need for sustained investment in infrastructure, digital literacy programs, and cross-sector collaboration involving the government, private sector, and civil society. Additionally, it identifies opportunities for future research to explore how emerging technologies—such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and big data—can enhance transparency, efficiency, and inclusivity in public services. Overall, the research positions digital maturity as a key enabler of adaptive and effective governance in the digital era.
