Abstract

The Corona Virus (Covid-19) is causing panic everywhere. Hundreds of thousands people were infected and thousands more died. The Indonesian government itself has given appeals to the community in overcoming this epidemic, so that it runs effectively and efficiently. However, in reality there are still many Indonesian people who do not heed this appeal. Therefore, this community service activity aims to assist the government in increasing public knowledge about preventing Covid-19. The method used in community service is carried out through counseling and mentoring. This activity is able to increase public knowledge and understanding about the dangers of Covid-19 and efforts to protect themselves from the implementation of 3M.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk memperkuat kapasitas masyarakat dalam pengembangan pariwisata berbasis partisipasi masyarakat berkaitan erat dengan pemberdayaan dan pengembangan kepariwisataan yang berkelanjutan. Desa Bahari III menjadi salah satu ikon pariwisata pesisir bagi Kabupaten Buton Selatan, dengan ciri kawasan pesisir, masyarakat yang memegang teguh adat istiadat dan kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat yang turut mendukung hal itu. Namun, pengembangan pariwisata yang kini dilakukan belum menempatkan masyarakat sebagai subjek kebijakan pengembangan pariwisatanya. Pendekatan yang menempatkan partisipasi kelompok masyarakat dalam pengembangan pariwisata, yang dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan standar kehidupan masyarakat. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah membentuk dasar untuk mendefinisikan model pariwisata berbasis masyarakat yang terdapat di Desa Bahari III. Dengan begitu, pengabdian masyarakat ini digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan kondisi ekonomi desa, partisipasi masyarakat yang memungkinkan adanya kolaborasi dan penciptaan modal sosial. Melalui pengabdian ini dapat menunjukkan bagaimana model ini dapat digunakan untuk menilai tingkat partisipasi masyarakat terkait pariwisata, dan menyarankan tindakan lebih lanjut yang diperlukan. Kata kunci: pengembangan; kapasitas; pariwisata; bahari III. ABSTRACTThe purpose of this community service is to strengthen community capacity in community participation-based tourism development which is closely related to empowerment and sustainable tourism development. Desa Bahari III has become one of the icons of coastal tourism for South Buton Regency, with the characteristics of a coastal area, people who adhere to customs and the socio-economic conditions of the people who support it. However, the tourism development that is currently being carried out has not placed the community as the subject of its tourism development policy. An approach that places community group participation in tourism development, which is carried out with the aim of improving people's living standards. The purpose of this community service is to form the basis for defining the community-based tourism model found in Bahari III Village. That way, this community service is used to describe the economic condition of the village, community participation that allows collaboration and the creation of social capital. Through this service, we can show how this model can be used to assess the level of community participation in tourism, and suggest further actions that are needed. Keywords: development; capacity; tourist; bahari III.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to face the Industrial Revolution 4.0, every individual, especially students, seeks to master the talents or skills needed to give birth to a professional workforce that can adapt to current conditions. To be able to adapt to the Industrial Revolution 4.0, a student must have qualities that machines do not have. One example is the ability to solve problems or creativity, and soft skills are very important for a student to have. The result of community service is that students are equipped with competencies such as complex problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, management, coordination with others, emotional intelligence, judgment, and decision making, service orientation, negotiation, and cognitive flexibility needed to meet future developments. In addition, students who already have expertise must continue to improve their abilities, while those who currently have skills but are no longer relevant must immediately adjust their skills to meet current market demands.

Abstract

This community service aims to carry out an analysis and describe the implementation of a written selection of Village Head Candidates Who Meet Administrative Requirements in Buton Regency in 2021. The implementation of community service has been carried out in accordance with the provisions where the selection process is carried out offline. The test is carried out in the form of multiple-choice questions and essays with a total of 40 and 5 questions, respectively. The selection results showed that the participants with the highest score of 5 in each village had the right to be appointed as village head candidates. In addition, community service has been carried out professionally and responsibly in the form of selecting village head candidates. Reliable selection and accountability will result in quality village governance. The existence of a competent village head will result in village progress

Abstract

In the face of globalization, local culture has tremendous challenges in maintaining its survival. Appropriate solutions must be devised to strengthen the durability of local culture as social capital in today's society. The Laporo Tribe's Sampua ceremony in Galanti Village is one of the traditions affected by globalization. This sort of study employs quantitative methodologies and a descriptive approach to analyze and explain changes in societal cultural and social patterns in great detail. The analysis of policy implementation indicators, such as communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure, is the subject of this study's research. This study finds, based on the data conducted, that the Sampua traditional ceremony is an obligatory ritual for families with daughters and has been performed here. Customary and religious rulers are entirely entrusted with the Sampua rite's resources, preparation, and execution in the hopes of a successful celebration. Sara can postpone the annual party until an additional agreement is reached because the family celebrates without Sara's knowledge.

Abstract

Peranan aktif dari Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum Kota Baubau sebagai lembaga pemantau dalam mengawasi jalannya pemilihan umum, keberadaan Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum Kota Baubau sebagai lembaga pengawas pemilihan umum di Kota Baubau, merupakan hal penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan  pelaksanaan pemilihan umum di Kota Baubau yang jujur dan aman. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan datanya dilakukan dengan cara memanfaatkan kepustakaan dan penelusuran data online. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah kewenangan yang dimiliki oleh Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum Kota Baubau, ketegasan dalam melakukan penindakan terhadap pihak-pihak yang melakukan pelanggaran, dalam menyelesaikan pelanggaran-pelanggaran yang terjadi selama pemilihan umum, Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum Kota Baubau telah melaksanakan tugas sesuai dengan amanat Undang-Undang yang berlaku.Kata Kunci : Pemilihan Umum Legislatif, Pengawasan

Abstract

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a deadly virus whose transmission is getting used to the COVID-19 vaccine and wearing a mask. The COVID-19 vaccine and wearing masks not only protect people who are infected with COVID-19 but also the community to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 in general. Vaccines, apart from being used as a barrier to prevent the transmission of COVID-19, have also been shown to reduce the number of positive cases of COVID-19. The implementation of this service took place in Kambula-Bulana Village, Pasarwajo District, Buton Regency. Dissemination of the need for attention to road users who lack knowledge about vaccination, especially in the prevention of COVID-19. Our partners are divided into two parts, Lack of knowledge about the covid-19 vaccine and Develop a caring attitude by using masks when doing activities outside the home and in crowds to help limit the spread of COVID-19. This effort began by going directly to the public and road users to provide information about the causes, symptoms, and prevention of COVID-19, as well as providing education about COVID-19 vaccination. The next action was the distribution of masks, followed by a discussion about the need to comply with health procedures. In addition to washing hands and maintaining a safe distance, the use of appropriate and appropriate masks is another form of prevention.

Abstract

This study aims to determine public sentiment towards hate speech against the government on Twitter social media. This study analyzes and uses data available on Drone Emprit Academic. This study analyzed a total of 1,088 tweets collected on Twitter with the tweet “Hate Speech Kepada Pemerintah”. The results of this study indicate that the public's response to hate speech against the government during September 1 to December 31, 2021 is positive with 67% responding positively, 31% responding negatively, and the remaining 1% responding neutrally. Thus, government policies are needed to protect freedom of expression as a very basic human right while at the same time limiting the spread of hate speech. The role of law enforcement in fighting hate speech is critical, but it is not the only option.

Abstract

This study aims to determine public sentiment towards democracy and freedom of opinion on Twitter social media. This study analyzes and uses the data available on the Drone Emperit Academic. This study analyzes a total of 1,388,221 tweets were collected on Twitter with the tweet “Demokrasi dan Kebebasan Berpendapat”. The results of this study indicate that the public response to democracy and freedom of opinion during 2021 is positive with 54%, 43% responding negatively, and the rest responding neutrally at 3%. Thus, social media facilitates the creation of a space where people can understand, share, and interactively negotiate the meaning of protest through dialogue about democracy, although data and information disseminated through social media such as Twitter can be considered unreliable because anyone with an account can disseminate information.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan prinsip tata kelola pemerintahan di Desa Banabungi, Kecamatan Pasarwajo, Kabupaten Buton Selatan. Pemerintah desa adalah tingkat pemerintahan terendah di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan analisis data dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif analitis. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa indikator-indikator ini telah diimplementasikan meliputi akuntabilitas, efektivitas dan transparansi. Pemerintahan Desa Banabungi, di Kecamatan Pasarwajo telah mengadopsi sistem pemerintahan sesuai peraturan Undang-Undangan No. 6 Tahun 2014 tentang Desa. Berbagai indikator sudah mulai diterapkan meski belum secara keseluruhan, dan bahkan belum sepenuhnya menerapkan prinsip-prinsip good governance. Beberapa indikator masih perlu dikembangkan lebih lanjut agar administrasi pemerintah meningkat yang pada akhirnya akan meningkatkan kemandirian ekonomi dari masyarakat desa.
