The conclusion is that the majority of elderly people with type 2 diabetes mellitus do not receive family support with mild stress, namely 28 elderly people (43.1%), the majority of elderly people with type 2 diabetes mellitus experience severe stress with less supportive family support, namely 9 elderly people ( 13.8%), there is a significant relationship between family support and the incidence of stress in elderly people suffering from type 2 diabetes mellitus in the work area of the Pidie Health Center, Pidie Regency in 2023, with the Chi-Square statistical test obtaining a P-value of 0.002 < 0.05. The suggestion is that elderly families can provide good family support so as not to cause stressful events and can prevent stress in elderly people with type 2 diabetes mellitus

This is an analytical study with a survey approach. The location was at Tgk Chik Di Tiro Hospital Sigli. The population was 134 people and the sample was 93 people. The sampling technique used proportional random sampling. The independent variables include air quality, temperature, humidity, room layout, noise, floor conditions, ceiling and lighting conditions, while the dependent variable is patient satisfaction. Data analysis used chi-square and multiple logistic regressions. The results showed that the variables of air quality (p = .009), temperature (p = .002), room layout (p = .013), noise (p = .018) and floor conditions (p = .006) had a significant effect on inpatient satisfaction at the Hospital. It can be concluded that temperature is the dominant variable influencing the satisfaction of inpatients at Tgk Chik Ditiro Sigli Hospital. DSME (Mean= 66.67; SD= 5.77) was higher than before (Mean= 43.06; SD= 7.05), and statistically significant (p< 0.001), and in the variation group DSME (Mean= 68.46; SD= 6.92) was higher compared before (Mean= 44.7; SD= 8.72), and statistically significant (p< 0.001).Conclusion: DSME activities can help increase the ability of diabetic patients to carry out self-care behavior independently. Keywords: diabetes self management education, ankle brachial index, patientCorrespondence:Kartika. Abstract

Chronic kidney disease is one of the health problems that has been widespread and reaches 5-10% of the human population. According to data from the Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) in 2018, the prevalence of chronic kidney disease in Indonesia is around 0.2%, with the highest prevalence in Central Sulawesi at around 0.5%. The treatment procedure for kidney failure is a kidney transplant or hemodialysis therapy. However, due to the difficulty of finding a kidney donor, hemodialysis therapy is an option. This therapy is a dialysis therapy that is done twice a week. This makes patients have psychological disorders such as stress, depression, anxiety disorders, and even suicidal thoughts. This disorder will certainly affect the patient's level of resilience, so it is necessary to have science education provided by the families in the form of health literacy, treatment knowledge, and emotional support to increase the patient's self-resilience. The research method used is a quantitative method by using cross sectional, namely data observation is carried out at one time. The research data were obtained through a questionnaire consisting of a family science education questionnaire and patient resilience. The results showed that the existence of science education provided by families in the form of health literacy, treatment knowledge, and emotional support plays a critical role in enhancing patients’ resilience during hemodialysis. A good level of resilience in patients can improve the quality of life and physical activity of patients
