Abstract

The research aims to improve student learning outcomes by implementing teaching materials for geographical characteristics and the utilization of the potential of the Madura coast based on a scientific approach for elementary students. The subjects of this study were 24 4th grade students at SDN Tlanakan 1 Pamekasan. The method used is pre-experimental with a pre-test and post-test design. The research instrument used a cognitive learning outcome evaluation sheet. Furthermore, the data on student learning outcomes was tested for normality and homogeneity. Based on the results of normality analysis, it is known that the significance value in the pre-test and post-test is 0.081, and the degree of homogeneity is 0.073. After the data is known to be normal and homogeneous, it is tested using the t test with paired samples. Based on the results of the t-test, it is known that there is a difference between the pre-test and post-test values with a t-count value of -24.920 (the negative sign is not taken into account), which is greater than the t-table 2.069. The percentage of classical completeness also shows an increase in learning outcomes from the pre-test with a value of 0% to the post-test with a value of 87.5%. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that teaching materials are effective for improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect of the problem-based learning model on mathematics learning outcomes in fifth grade students of UPTD SDN Gili Barat. This research is a quantitative research with the method used is quasi-experimental and the design used is nonequivalent control group design. The sample used was 45 students from fifth grade A and B of UPTD SDN Gili Barat. Sampling using saturated samples. In this study using the experimental class and control class. Data collection used multiple choice test questions, the test instruments used were validity tests, reliability tests, difficulty level tests and discrimination tests. The prerequisite test used is the normality test and homogeneity test while the hypothesis test uses the t-test. Based on the results of data analysis using the t-test with a significance level of 0.05, the results were sig. (2-tailed) of 0.010 means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted so that it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group, the treatment given has a significant effect on the problem-based learning model of learning mathematics in fifth grade students of UPTD SDN West Gili.

Abstract

Students who experience difficulties in learning are the teacher's responsibility to overcome the problems faced by students. One of the actions that teachers can take to help students with learning difficulties is through providing remedial activities. The purpose of this research is to find out the steps, obstacles and solutions to the problems of class V-C teachers in implementing remedial activities for students who experience difficulty adding and subtracting mixed fractions at SDN Rangkah I Surabaya. This research uses a method with a descriptive qualitative approach. This research uses data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The results of this research are 1). The teacher's steps in implementing remedial activities are that the teacher analyzes the results of the diagnosis of student difficulties by referring to student test scores that are below the KKTP score of 60. Next, by planning remedial activities, the teacher arranges the day, date, time, method, media and prepares the questions that will be created for the activity. remedial. After everything has been carefully planned for remedial activities, the next step is for the teacher to carry out remedial activities for four students who are experiencing difficulties. Next, after carrying out the remedial activities, the teacher assesses the results of the remedial work for each student who took part in the remedial activities. 2). The obstacles for teachers in implementing remedial activities are that they require quite a long time, the physical condition of students is not enthusiastic and the differences in the characteristics of students' comprehension abilities. 3). The teacher's solution to the obstacles in implementing remedial activities is that the teacher maximizes the time for remedial activities, the teacher always provides encouragement in every implementation of remedial activities and the teacher explains again to students who do not understand the explanation individually.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini mengacu pada hasil analisis kebutuhan di tempat uji coba produk yang menghasilkan modul berbasis kearifan lokal Jombang di kelas IV SDN Jipurapah 1 Jombang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan modul berbasis kearifan lokal Jombang yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk memberikan pembelajaran yang bermakna pada peserta didik. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model 4D yang terdiri dari tahap define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Proses validasi memperoleh hasil antara lain: (1) ahli desain pembelajaran sebesar 87,50% (sangat valid), (2) ahli bahasa sebesar 90,90% (sangat valid), (3) ahli materi sebesar 88,88% (sangat valid), dan (4) ahli bahan ajar sebesar 84,09% (sangat valid). Hasil uji kevalidan mendapat hasil persentase sebesar 87,84% (valid digunakan).  Kepraktisan ditinjau dari angket respon siswa sebesar 85,23% (sangat praktis). Keefektifan ditinjau dari tes hasil belajar siswa sebesar 96,42% yang maka dapat dikatakan sangat efektif digunakan. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa modul berbasis kearifan lokal Jombang valid, praktis, dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan pada penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen yang menggunakan desain penelitian Quasi Experimental Desaign dan dengan bentuk desain penelitian Noneequivalent Control Grup yang memiliki arti pemilihan sampel eksperimen dan sampel kontrol tidak dipilih secara random. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni terdapat 40 siswa kelas IV SDN Grinting. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yakni observasi dan tes KPS. Uji coba instrumen test di ujikan pada kelas IV SDN Kenongo II yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas dan uji kesukaran. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t independent sample test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis pengujian uji t dua sampel independen pada data nilai pre-test kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi yakni 0,767 > 0,05, maka H0 diterima (tidak ada perbedaan). Sedangkan berdasarkan nilai uji t diperoleh thitung 0,298 ≤ 2,024, maka H0 diterima artinya tidak adanya perbedaan pada pre-test KPS siswa antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji t dua sampel independen pada tes post-test kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi yakni 0,017 < 0,05, maka Ha diterima (terdapat perbedaan). Berdasarkan nilai pada uji t diperoleh thitung 2,499, sehingga keputusannya 2,499 ≤ 2,024 maka Ha diterima (terdapat perbedaan). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap KPS siswa kelas IV.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan media puzzle terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan desain quas experimental dan menggunakan bentuk desain penelitian nonequivalent control group yang berarti sampel eksperimen dan sampel kontrol tidak dipilih secara random. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdapat 23 siswa kelas IV di SDN Pojoksari. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaknik observasi, dan tes. Uji coba instrumen test menggunakan uni validitas, dan reliabilitas. Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas dan N-gain. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t independent sample test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data uji-t independent sample test pada post-test memperoleh hasil t hitung = 2,905> t tabel = 2,160 maka Ho ditolak (terdapat perbedaan) dan Ha diterima. Maka dapat disimpulakn bahwa terdapat pengaruh pada penerapan media puzzle pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Organizing innovative and quality education in order to produce professional and competitive primary school educators is the vision of the elementary school teacher education program in Trunojoyo Madura University. One form of educational innovation is to develop learning media that supports educators. Learning media is important in the learning process. The presence of learning media is able to bridge the obscurity of the material presented. One of the materials needed for its delivery is animal metamorphosis. Characteristics of animal metamorphosis material are difficult to present in class and in a short amount of time. The objectives of the research carried out are to: (1) produce learning media for metamorphosis of animals and interactive multimedia in elementary science subjects; and (2) learning the feasibility level of learning media for animal metamorphosis and interactive multimedia in elementary science subjects. This research uses research and development methods. The development model used is 4D. The research subjects were third semester students in the Natural Sciences elementary school. The instruments of data collection used consisted of questionnaire sheets. The results showed that the metamorphosis of animal media and interactive multimedia was appropriate to be used with very good categories in terms of media and material aspects.
