Abstract

Tana Toraja Regency is one of the districts located in South Sulawesi. Natural beauty, cultural diversity, and customs that are still very thick become one of the characteristics that are not found in other regions. This study aims to 1). identify the content of the Instagram account @torajatripadventure, 2). identify the engagement rate of the Instagram account @torajatripadventure, and 3). identify interest in visiting Tana Toraja Regency. This research uses a quantitative descriptive research design. This study was conducted by sending an online questionnaire via google form to Instagram account followers @torajatripadventure which is known to number 52,600. The sample in this study was 100 people who became followers of the Instagram account @torajatripadventure and the category was determined based on random sampling. Data collection is obtained through questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that 1). Product content and event content are considered interesting, useful, and informative. Furthermore, entertainment content is considered attractive and entertaining even though it is still not useful and promotional content is considered attractive but not useful and persuasive. 2). The four contents are included in the low level of interaction category because the engagement rate is below 1%, however, event content is still the content with the highest engagement rate, followed by entertainment content, product content and promotional content. 3). The dimension of interest and the dimension of desire are the dimensions that most interest respondents, followed by the dimension of seeking information, the dimension of consideration and the dimension of action. As for the average value for calculating the type of content on interest in visiting, event content is the content that gets the highest response from respondents, followed by product content, entertainment content and promotional content.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the tourist attraction and design a mapping model of the distribution of tourist attraction and amenity in Lunjen Village, Enrekang Regency by making a map of tourist attraction and amenity in Lunjen Village. This research model is applied so that the results can be implemented. Data collection was done through direct observation in the field accompanied by unstructured interviews and documentation. The result of the research is a map of the distribution of tourist attractions and amenities in Lunjen Village using ArcGis 10.8, which is used as an auxiliary medium for tourists in obtaining information about tourist attractions in Lunjen Village, Enrekang Regency. The conclusion in this study is the distribution of tourist attractions using ArcGis 10.8 can make it easier to see tourist attractions and amenity in Lunjen Village in the form of a map.

Abstract

Purpose - The purpose of this research is to explore the untapped potential of agrotourism in Dante Mararih Hamlet, Tangru Village, Malua District, Enrekang Regency, South Sulawesi, and assess public awareness regarding the importance of its development. Methodology/Design/Approach - A qualitative approach was used, combining observation, interviews, and documentation to gather data on the potential of agrotourism in the area and public awareness of its development.Finding - The study found that Dante Mararih Hamlet has significant potential for agrotourism, driven by its horticultural resources, cultivation activities, natural beauty, and the quality of the local community. However, public awareness about agrotourism is still low, and there is a need to align perceptions to fully realize the potential. The development of agrotourism will require attention to various factors, including human resources, infrastructure, location, traditional agriculture characteristics, and agro-industry.Originality/Value - This research emphasizes the importance of raising public awareness and aligning perceptions to optimize agrotourism potential. It provides practical insights into the factors necessary for successful agrotourism development, which could positively impact the economy of Dante Mararih Hamlet.

Abstract

This article aims to formulate a strategic plan for sustainable tourism development in Samangki village, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi. The research design used is descriptive qualitative. At the stage of formulating a sustainable tourism development strategy in Samangki village, using SWOT analysis techniques. The results of the analysis show that Samangki village has internal and external potential for sustainable tourism that can be further developed. Then, potential analysis based on aspects or criteria as the village concept shows that of the seven aspects, only aspects of human resource readiness and aspects of tourism support facilities still need to be improved, while the other five aspects are; tourist attraction, community motivation, facilities and infrastructure, availability and availability of land, in general, are adequate for tourism. In addition, the development of sustainable tourism in Samangka village is quite good, but there is a need for improvement so that in the future Samangka village can become one of the pilot tourism villages in Indonesia.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Desa Wisata Kebangsaan, Situbondo, Jawa Timur, dengan fokus pada peningkatan kapasitas pelaku UMKM, pengelola homestay, dan masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan storytelling digital sebagai strategi promosi pariwisata. Permasalahan utama mitra mencakup promosi yang masih konvensional, keterbatasan keterampilan digital, serta rendahnya pemahaman mengenai pemasaran berbasis narasi. Metode kegiatan mencakup penyuluhan, pelatihan, workshop, pendampingan, praktik lapangan, serta evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman konsep storytelling (dari ±20% menjadi ±90%), keterampilan produksi konten visual (±25% menjadi ±90%), dan kemampuan publikasi digital (±30% menjadi ±85%). Peserta mampu menghasilkan konten foto dan video yang memadukan narasi lokal dengan media sosial, sehingga memperkuat branding Desa Wisata Kebangsaan. Meskipun terdapat kendala berupa keterbatasan perangkat, kesulitan penyusunan caption, dan akses internet yang belum merata, solusi adaptif berupa penyediaan perangkat sederhana, template caption, serta strategi publikasi terjadwal mampu mengatasinya. Program ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan storynomics berbasis edu-tourism homestay efektif untuk mendukung pengembangan pariwisata berbasis komunitas yang kreatif, inklusif, dan berkelanjutan. Kata kunci: Storytelling Digital; UMKM; Homestay; Desa Wisata, Pengabdian Masyarakat ABSTRACTThis community service program was implemented in Kebangsaan Tourism Village, Situbondo, East Java, aiming to enhance the capacity of local MSME actors, homestay managers, and the community in utilizing digital storytelling as a tourism promotion strategy. The main problems identified include conventional promotional practices, limited digital skills, and a lack of understanding of narrative-based marketing. The program employed a comprehensive method consisting of outreach, training, workshops, mentoring, field practice, and evaluation through pre-test and post-test. The results indicate a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of storytelling concepts (from ±20% to ±90%), visual content production skills (±25% to ±90%), and digital publication ability (±30% to ±85%). Participants successfully produced photos and videos that integrated local narratives into social media content, thereby strengthening the branding of Kebangsaan Tourism Village. Despite challenges such as limited technological devices, difficulties in composing promotional captions, and unstable internet connectivity, adaptive solutions including the provision of simple devices, caption templates, and scheduled publishing strategies were effective. This program demonstrates that a storynomics-based edu-tourism homestay approach is effective in fostering creative, inclusive, and sustainable community-based tourism development. Keywords: Digital Storytelling; Msmes; Homestay; Tourism Village; Community Service
