Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui signifikansi hubungan antara valensi (valance) dan bobot (weight) informasi pada akun instagram @pasarcikapundungbaranglawas dengan tingkat perhatian, ketertarikan, dan keinginan followers aktif dalam melahirkan minat berkunjung ke Pasar Seni dan Antik Cikapundung, Bandung. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan studi korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 151 orang. Jumlah sampel yakni sebanyak 109 responden yang ditarik dengan menggunakan teknik penarikan sampel acak sederhana (simple random sampling). Uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan koefisien korelasi Rank Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara informasi pada akun instagram @pasarcikapundungbaranglawas dengan minat followers aktif untuk berkunjung ke Pasar Seni dan Antik Cikapundung. Kemudian, terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara valensi informasi pada akun instagram @pasarcikapundungbaranglawas dengan tingkat perhatian, ketertarikan, dan keinginan followers aktif untuk berkunjung. Serta, terdapat hubungan yang signifikan bobot informasi pada akun instagram @pasarcikapundungbaranglawas dengan tingkat perhatian, ketertarikan, dan keinginan followers aktif untuk berkunjung.

Abstract

The development of technology always produces both positive and negativeimpacts, as well as the use of mobile phones in public. Today, short messageservices, known better as SMS, as a functionof mobile phones has been quitepopular to some people in rural areas in West Java.This paper describes the useof SMS in mobile phoneinthe process ofinformation seeking for health informationand services for community. This research was conducted through descriptiveapproach with in-depth interview, observation and literature study.The resultsshows that the development of SMS has become the channelfor informationseeking onhealth information and services. This system is usefull and hasbeendevelopedby the government and stakeholders engaged in public health toprovidethe information for health services. In general, SMS usage is consideredsuccessful and needs to be expanded by both government and non-governmentalorganizations due to several purposes.Firstly, the use of mobile phones hasbecome part of information seekingin rural communities.Secondly, the use of SMSin supplying health information and services can provide a faster informationsystem related to hospital services and patient’s condition. On the top of that, thedissemination of health information and services through SMS also providesopportunities for better communication between healthcare providers and patientin more deepen and intensive way.

Abstract

Iklan layanan masyarakat tentang bahaya merokok bagi kesehatan yang dikeluarkan Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia membangun keniscayaan kalau rokok punya andil besar mengantarkan para perokok memasuki bahaya nikotin. Selama ini, iklan rokok di media dengan kekuatannya mampu memberikan gambaran tentang kegayaan, kegagahan, kesuksesan yang kemudian dipercaya oleh para perokok. Melalui kode hermeneutik, ditemukan makna konotasi dari tanda-tanda yang terdapat dalam ILM “Bahaya Merokok”bahwa merokok mengakibatkan munculnya berbagai penyakit, salah satunya kanker tenggorokkan. Makna konotasi dalam ILM “Bahaya Merokok” yang dikeluarkan Kementerian Kesehatan RI mengandung mitos-mitos yang berkenaan dengan kebiasaan atau kecanduan rokok, yakni kebiasaan merokok adalah bukan kegayaan, bukan kegagahan, dan bukan ciri kesuksesan. Dalam ILM juga ditemukan ideologi yang terkandung dalam iklan ini yakni ideologi konsumerisme. Terlihat komodifikasi yang dilakukan oleh Kemenkes RIterhadap sosok perokok yang digambarkan sebagai sosok yang berpenyakit/ tidak sehat

Abstract

This study describes the concept of network through the dimensions of scape and flow. To build an analytical framework that describes the two dimensions of the network, a literature study from various sources is carried out that discusses the context of tourism promotion. This analytical framework is then elaborated through the results of in-depth interviews with twenty informants who represent the main tourism stakeholders in Bintan Regency. The informants, among others, represent elements of the government, the private sector, academia, and the community. To strengthen the analysis, especially related to the development of tourism promotion which can be directly or indirectly seen from the trend of key tourism indicators in Bintan Regency, a literature review from various books, journals, research references and online news sources from the internet is used. The Result Main finding, established networks seldom play significant role in tourism promotion as they are viewed as already settled. While tourism promotion strategy tends to inherently shows innovation, so it won’t be viewed as repetitive or redundant. This then affect engagement in post-Pandemic tourism, as shown with Bintan Regency case.

Abstract

The phenomenon of temper tantrums indicates an indication of inhibited emotional development in children which makes children express the negative emotions they feel through aggressive behavior. Therefore, good communication behavior is needed from parents, especially mothers as the closest scope owned by children to deal with the condition of children who experience tantrums. This study aims to determine the motives, experiences, and behavior of mother-child communication in dealing with children who experience temper tantrums, as well as to know the meaning of the phenomenon of temper tantrums for mothers. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological study approach and in collecting data using interview techniques. The main informants in this study were five mothers who had experience in handling their children who experienced temper tantrums at an early age. The results showed that the because of motives were due to the mother's communication behavior in dealing with children who experienced temper tantrums at an early age, including mothers having sensitivity and awareness towards children who experienced speech delay. The existence of several conditions that could trigger tantrum behavior in children to appear, such as events that occurred or experienced by the child is not in accordance with his expectations. In addition, through the communication behavior that is carried out, the mother has hope as an in order to motive so that in the future the child can communicate well. There are several communication behaviors that are carried out by mothers in dealing with the aggressive behavior of children they receive, such as inviting communication and giving understanding, providing opportunities and space for children, giving physical touch, not leaving children alone, scolding, and cutting off children's behavior, tweaking, and applying patterns. routine communication with children every day. Meanwhile, mothers interpret the phenomenon of temper tantrums that occur in children as something that makes them sad, tired, stressed, and embarrassed. However, mothers think this is also a test and part of the child's development process that they have to face and go through.

Abstract

Almost all people in the world cannot be separated from the internet. Various information can be obtained and disseminated through the internet. @beeruindonesia is a healthy living service platform that markets products and disseminates information online. Among other things, @beeruindonesia disseminates information about healthy eating through the Instagram account @beeruindonesia. Using Uses and Gratifications Theory with the concept of MAIN (modality, agency, interactivity, navigability), this study aims to (i) measure the motives for using the @beeruindonesia Instagram account in each of the four dimensions, (ii) measure the fulfillment of information needs of active followers of the @beeruindonesia Instagram account and (iii) analyze the relationship (correlation) between motives (in general and each dimension) with the fulfillment of information needs of followers of the @beeruindonesia Instagram account. The research method approach is a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods. This study concludes that (i) the motives for using the @beeruindonesia Instagram account based on modality, agency, interactivity, and navigability are very high, (ii) the level of fulfillment of information needs is very high, and (iii) the motives for using the @beeruindonesia Instagram account both partially and combined are positively and strongly correlated with the need to fulfill information for followers of the @beeruindonesia Instagram account. The positive and strong correlation is significant at the 99% confidence level (α = 0.01)

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the digital transformation design strategy in creating competitive advantage in the hotel industry in Serang Regency, Banten Province. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies of six hotels operating in the research area. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of digital transformation in Serang Regency is still limited to the use of online reservation platforms and social media for promotion, while the integration of advanced technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), self-check-in systems, and application-based services is still minimal. SWOT analysis identifies strengths in the form of digital platform adoption and active promotion, as well as opportunities through government support for the tourism sector. However, the low digital competence of the workforce and limited technology investment are the main weaknesses. The digital transformation strategy that was developed includes digitalization of core services, improvement of technology infrastructure, human resource training, and optimization of digital marketing. These findings emphasize that the success of digital transformation in the hotel industry requires integration between technology, organizational culture, and visionary digital leadership. The implications of this study provide theoretical contributions to the digital transformation model in the tourism sector as well as practical recommendations for industry players and policy makers to accelerate the digitalization of local tourism.

Abstract

This article aims to formulate a strategic plan for sustainable tourism development in Samangki village, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi. The research design used is descriptive qualitative. At the stage of formulating a sustainable tourism development strategy in Samangki village, using SWOT analysis techniques. The results of the analysis show that Samangki village has internal and external potential for sustainable tourism that can be further developed. Then, potential analysis based on aspects or criteria as the village concept shows that of the seven aspects, only aspects of human resource readiness and aspects of tourism support facilities still need to be improved, while the other five aspects are; tourist attraction, community motivation, facilities and infrastructure, availability and availability of land, in general, are adequate for tourism. In addition, the development of sustainable tourism in Samangka village is quite good, but there is a need for improvement so that in the future Samangka village can become one of the pilot tourism villages in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the service quality of the National Eye Center Cicendo Eye Hospital on outpatient patient loyalty with the Social Exchange Theory proposed by Thibault and Kelley in 1959 as its theoretical foundation. In this study, the researcher employed a correlational method with a quantitative approach. The sample for this study consisted of 96 outpatient patients from the executive installation of the National Eye Center Cicendo Eye Hospital, chosen as respondents through simple random sampling. Subsequently, data analysis involved descriptive analysis and inferential statistica. The research results indicate that simultaneously, the service quality of the National Eye Center at Cicendo Eye Hospital significantly influences the loyalty of outpatient executive installation patients. Furthermore, on a partial level, tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy in the service quality of the National Eye Center at Cicendo Eye Hospital significantly affect the loyalty of outpatient executive installation patients

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mengubah praktik jurnalisme, dengan media digital menggantikan media konvensional seperti koran dan majalah. Namun, kemajuan ini juga membawa dampak signifikan pada jurnalisme digital, terutama dalam konsep attention economy yang menggantikan uang dengan perhatian dan waktu audiens sebagai komoditas berharga. Konsep ini mulai disalahgunakan oleh jurnalis untuk meraih keuntungan maksimal melalui strategi clickbait. Meskipun efektif dalam meningkatkan interaksi, penggunaan clickbait seringkali melanggar kode etik jurnalistik, yang melarang berita bohong, fitnah, dan diskriminasi. Pelanggaran ini menimbulkan dampak negatif, terutama bagi masyarakat Indonesia yang memiliki tingkat literasi rendah. Sensasionalisme dan provokasi dalam clickbait dapat memengaruhi audiens yang kurang kritis dan rentan terhadap misinformasi. Tujuan artikel ilmiah ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran tentang etika jurnalisme, baik di kalangan jurnalis maupun penikmat media
