Abstract

Good governance integration may assist Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in achieving sustainable performance. This study focused on the adoption of governance principles and their impact on sustainable performance at BUMDes Mutiara Welirang in Mojokerto, East Java, Indonesia. This study used an exploratory descriptive qualitative approach using a single case to explore the phenomenon in depth. Data collecting methods include structured interviews, field observations, focus group discussions, and document studies. The method of determining informants is divided into two stages: purposive sampling to identify important informants based on specific criteria and snowball sampling for supporting informants. Data were processed using thematic analysis to identify, analyze, and report on interview findings. The study's findings show that BUMDes Mutiara Welirang's governance procedures incorporate cooperative, participatory, emancipatory, transparent, accountable, and sustainable principles. The integration of BUMDes governance serves as the foundation for achieving sustainable performance in not only economic but also social, environmental, and cultural dimensions. This study's implications include improving the welfare of multiple stakeholders in financial, social, environmental, and organizational cultural dimensions. This study also provides theoretical benefits, such as serving as a role model for BUMDes governance in Indonesia to achieve sustainable performance.

Abstract

This study aims to: determine the implementation of Regent Regulation No. 29 of 2020 concerning PPK and PAK in Formal and Non-Formal Education Units at the Elementary Education, Child Education and Equality Education levels, especially in Balesari Village. In addition, to find out the obstacles and solutions carried out by the Village Government related to the policy. This research is anempirical juridical research. The data collection techniques carried out by the researcher are by conducting observations, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, data processing techniques are carried out by means of data examination (editing), data classification (classifying), verification (Verifying), analysis (Anlysis) and Conclusions (Conclusion))(Muhaimin, 2020). The results of this study found that Balesari Village has made efforts to strengthen character education and anti-corruption by synergizing with education activists, anti-corruption activists, universities and from non-formal educators. The obstacles experienced are related to the skills needed when conducting anti-corruption education for students and the lack of public knowledge related to anti-corruption.

Abstract

Peran perempuan di ranah politik memiliki beberapa tantangan, antara lain terkait dengan perspesi masyarakat terkait patriarki, perbedaan gender, kurangnya akses dan informasi politik, serta terbatasnya ruang pendidikan yang inklusif. Padahal, perempuan memiliki peluang yang besar untuk mengawal demokrasi dan aspirasi masyarakat melalui pengambilan keputusan publik. Urgensi penguatan peran perempuan tidak hanya tentang kesetaraan gender, tetapi juga tentang demokrasi yang representatif. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan metode penyuluhan dan diskusi partisipatif dalam forum-forum di tingkat lokal. Materi yang disampaikan meliputi pemahaman dasar tentang hak-hak politik bagi perempuan, mekanisme pemilihan umum, dan strategi keterlibatan dalam forum-forum musyawarah di tingkat lokal. Hasil dari kegiatan yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan adanya motivasi dan inspirasi peran perempuan untuk berpartisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan sosial dan politik di lingkungannya. Pendidikan politik inklusif dapat menjadi sarana pemberdayaan perempuan dalam membangun kepercayaan diri dan kesadaran kolektif untuk terlibat aktif dalam platform demokrasi, khususnya di tingkat lokal.

Abstract

This study aims to determine public perceptions of public services in the form of health services provided by the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in Sampang Regency using the Community Satisfaction Index (IKM). The research, which was conducted in 2023, used a survey method with 150 respondents from health service users at the Sampang District Hospital. From this study, it was found that health services at the Sampang District Hospital had an IKM conversion interval value of 72.15 or converted equivalent to the letter B. That is, the service level was in the good category.

Abstract

After the enactment of the Job Creation Law, BUM Desa experienced significant changes in the regulatory area regarding the legal status of BUM Desa which is regulated as a legal entity. This has implications for the management of BUM Desa in general, which must adjust to the new arrangements in the era of the Job Creation Law. Due to these changes, problems were found in the village sector, especially in Jambuwer Village, Kromengan District, Malang Regency, where there were several problems related to BUM Desa business management, aspects of liability and business risk mitigation. The research method used is empirical legal research using primary and secondary data. The result of this research is that several stages of socialization are needed regarding the legal aspects of BUM Desa business management and formulating the BUM Desa Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
