Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in fostering an attitude of inter-religious tolerance at Mutia Rahma Bulu Cina School, Hamparan Perak. The method used was qualitative, with a descriptive approach to explore the experien ces and views of teachers and students. The results showed that PAI teachers, through various religious activities and interactive teaching, succeeded in instilling the values of tolerance and mutual respect among students. Despite facing challenges such as community prejudice, the commitment and dedication of PAI teachers play an important role in creating a conducive learning atmosphere. This research confirms the important role of religious education in shaping a more tolerant and harmonious generation. It confirms that the role of religious education is not only important for the school environment, but also has a long-term impact on society. By instilling attitudes of tolerance, religious education can contribute to reducing the potential for social conflict and promoting interfaith harmony. Overall, the results of this study show that PAI teachers have a great responsibility in shaping a more tolerant and cultured generation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the planning, implementation, success rate, and challenges in applying the Tikrar method to Qur'an memorization learning at the Tahfidzul Quran Raudhatul Hasanah Foundation. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The results indicate that: (1) learning planning is systematically carried out through the preparation of memorization schedules, achievement targets, and supporting facilities; (2) the implementation of the Tikrar method involves intensive repetition of verses, regular memorization submissions, and close guidance from tahfidz teachers; (3) the application of this method shows a high level of success in improving fluency, memory retention, and building students' confidence in recitation; and (4) challenges such as student fatigue, varying levels of memorization ability, limited time, and low parental involvement still persist but can be addressed through motivation reinforcement strategies and supportive learning environments. Thus, the Tikrar method remains an effective and relevant approach to sustainably improving the quality of Qur'anic memorization among students.

Abstract

The lack of research on the intellectual heritage of Nusantara scholars has resulted in limited academic recognition of local contributions to the development of Islamic creed education. One significant figure who has not been extensively studied is Shaykh Abdul Halim Hasan, particularly his Tafsir Al-Qur’anul Karim, which contains values of tawhid. This study aims to examine the concepts of tauhid rububiyyah, uluhiyyah, and asma’ wa sifat in his tafsir and their implications for contemporary Islamic education. The method used is qualitative with a library research approach, and the analysis is conducted thematically and contextually. The results of the study indicate that Shaykh Abdul Halim's interpretation emphasizes the strengthening of faith, character building, and the instillation of moral and spiritual values based on tauhid. Each dimension of tauhid explained has direct relevance to contemporary Islamic education strategies. The implications of this study highlight the importance of integrating tauhid values into the curriculum of akidah education, and utilizing the works of local scholars as references in developing contextual, transformative, and value-based learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perihal pendidikan ‘aqidah yang mencakup tentang sumber ber’aqidah yang benar, penyebab penyimpangan dan solusi dalam mengatasi dan membentengi penyimpangan dalam masalah ‘aqidah. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian studi pustaka (library research). Sumber utama dalam penelitian ini adalah sebuah kitab yang berjudul ‘Aqîdah at-Tauhîd wa Bayân Mâ Yudhâdduhâ au Yanqushuhâ min asy-Syirk al-Akbar wa al-Ashghar wa at-Ta’thîl wa al-Bida’ wa Ghairi Dzâlik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan ‘aqidah sangat penting untuk diketahui, dipelajari dan diamalkan oleh setiap Muslim. Sumber beraqidah yang benar adalah bersumber pada wahyu yakni Al-Qur’an dan as-Sunnah yang shahih di atas pemahaman para Salafush Shalih. Adapun di antara penyebab penyimpangan ‘aqidah adalah kejahilan, fanatik terhadap keyakinan nenek moyang, taklid buta, ghuluw, kurangnya pendidikan ‘aqidah dalam keluarga, serta minimnya perhatian terhadap materi dan media informasi dalam mengedukasi masyarakat. Dan diantara solusi dalam mengatasi penyimpangan ‘aqidah ruju’ (kembali) kepada Al-Qur’an dan as-Sunnah yang shahih di atas pemahaman Salafush shalih, perhatian yang tinggi terhadap materi dan sumber materi, serta menyebarkan dan mengirim para da’i untuk mendakwahkan, mengajarkan tentang ‘aqidah yang benar ditengah-tengah masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the purpose of Islamic education in the book Al-Uṣûl aṡ-Ṡalâṡah by Shaîkh Muhammad At-Tamîmiy. The research method uses qualitative methods that are descriptive with the type of library research. The main source of this research is a scholarly book entitled Al-Uṣûl aṡ-Ṡalâṡah wa Adillatuhâ. Based on the results of research shows that the main purpose of Islamic education formulated by Shaîkh Muhammad At-Tamîmiy in his book is inseparable from three basic things, namely that Islamic education aims to make students know Allah Almighty (ma'rifatullâh), know the Prophet (ma'rifatu nabiyyihî), and know Islam and its postulates (ma'rifatu dîn al-islâm bi al-adillah). These three goals are the foundation for all the goals of Islamic education built upon it. Through the knowledge of Allah Almighty, learners will know the consequences of the creed lâ ilâha illallâh and the purpose of its creation, as well as know Allah's rights over His servant and the servant's duty to His Rabb. Through the introduction of His Prophet, learners will know the consequences of the creed of Muhammad rasulullâh. Through the introduction of Islam and its postulates, students will know the nature of their religious teachings which are built on scientific divine values.
