Abstract

Cultural diversity can be seen in the unitary state of the Republic of Indonesia. One of them is the cultural diversity that can be seen in wedding ceremonies in each region. Marriage is a custom that is customary, namely custom and individual, which can be exchanged for a copy. However, each traditional wedding ceremony is related to the spirit and social class of Malay life, and they can also be accepted as a whole in a different environment. Marriage is a procedure in which two human children are united in a sacred bond which has many purposes and benefits from different points of view. From a social perspective, for example, marriage is a way to strengthen relations between families and foster friendships both inside and outside the region. The night of henna is a ceremony where henna is given to the newlyweds before the newlyweds are performed the next day. In the evening after the Isha prayer, a bachelorette party is usually held. The night of henna is a very important part of the ceremony celebrating the newlyweds. The party only takes place at the bride's house. The henna night ceremony is not carried out at the groom's house. The groom receives henna from the bride sent by the bride. The groom greets his family. Giving bridal henna is an attempt to give signs and blessings from the family to the bride so that the bride can start a new household. In addition, henna is an expression of gratitude and prayer to Allah SWT so that the next day's wedding ceremony runs smoothly, free from all obstacles and obstacles

Abstract

Creative economy tourism is an essential sector in the economic development of Baubau City. In developing this sector, the role of the community is significant. Communities can be active in decision-making and implementing creative economy tourism development programs. The philosophy of life of the Bhutanese people, known as PO-5 (read; polymer), is an acronym for several philosophies, namely Popia-piara, Poangka-Angkataka, Pomae-Maeaka, Poma-masiaka, and Pobinci- Bincikikuli. The research uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method to analyze the role of the community in developing creative economic tourism in Baubau City. Through this approach, communities and researchers work together to define problems, identify possible solutions, and implement actions to improve local communities' economic and social well-being. The research results show that the weaving community is essential in developing creative economic tourism in Baubau City. They can contribute through innovative product development, marketing and tourism promotion, increasing community involvement in decision-making and empowering the local economy while remaining based on local wisdom. However, challenges are also faced in involving communities in developing creative economic tourism, including a lack of knowledge and skills and the need for access to resources and capital.

Abstract

Dengan membangun citra positif tentang Wakatobi melalui promosi pariwisata, kesadaran akan pentingnya pelestarian lingkungan alam dapat ditingkatkan. Dengan meningkatkan promosi, diharapkan akan ada peningkatan jumlah wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Wakatobi, sehingga Wakatobi dapat menjangkau pasar wisata yang lebih luas baik di tingkat nasional maupun internasional. Dan yang paling penting melalui promosi pariwisata yang efektif, diharapkan juga dapat meningkatkan kesadaran wisatawan akan pentingnya menjaga keberagaman alam dan budaya yang ada di Wakatobi. Dukungan dari pemerintah, industri pariwisata, serta partisipasi aktif dari masyarakat lokal juga kunci dalam mencapai tujuan tersebut. Tentunya dengan memanfaatkan analisis segmentasi pasar dan penerapan strategi pemasaran yang tepat, Wakatobi dapat meningkatkan jumlah kunjungan wisatawan dan memperkuat posisi sebagai destinasi wisata unggulan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya memahami target pasar, penggunaan media digital, serta kolaborasi lintas sektor untuk mencapai tujuan promosi yang efektif.

Abstract

Industri sarung tenun merupakan salah satu sektor penting dalam ekonomi lokal Desa Pajam, yang tidak hanya mencerminkan warisan budaya tetapi juga memiliki kontribusi signifikan terhadap pendapatan masyarakat setempat. Namun, industri ini menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti keterbatasan akses terhadap modal, perubahan selera pasar, dan persaingan dengan produk modern. Pendekatan penelitian yaitu deskriptif dan eksploratif (mixed methods). Data kuantitatif diperoleh melalui kuesioner dan analisis statistik, sementara data kualitatif dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi lapangan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa potensi ekonomi industri sarung tenun terletak pada nilai budaya dan kualitas produk yang tinggi, sedangkan tantangan utama meliputi keterbatasan pengelolaan keuangan dan pemasaran. Selain itu, dukungan pemerintah dan akses terhadap teknologi modern diidentifikasi sebagai faktor kunci dalam pengembangan industri ini. Strategi pengembangan yang diusulkan meliputi diversifikasi produk, penguatan pemasaran digital, dan peningkatan akses terhadap sumber daya keuangan. Implementasi strategi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan daya saing dan keberlanjutan industri sarung tenun di Desa Pajam.
