Abstract

Introduction: Pain is a prevalent clinical issue among postoperative fracture patients, significantly impacting their overall quality of life. Effective pain management is therefore essential and may encompass both pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions. One non-pharmacological approach that has demonstrated therapeutic potential is the combination of cold compress application and Islamic Spiritual Mindfulness (MSI). This study aims to evaluate the impact of integrating cold compress therapy with Islamic Spiritual Mindfulness on postoperative pain alleviation in fracture patients treated at Dr. R. Sosodoro Djatikoesoemo Regional General Hospital, Bojonegoro. Method: The research employed a pre-experimental design using a one-group pre-posttest approach, with a total population of 92 patients and a sample size of 38 respondents, selected through consecutive sampling. The study utilized the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as research instruments. A normality test indicates p < 0.05, signifying non-normal data distribution, necessitating hypothesis testing via the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. Results: The findings revealed that, prior to intervention, 100% of patients experienced severe pain. Following the intervention, the majority of respondents (79.2%) reported a reduction in pain intensity to a moderate level. Analyse: The Wilcoxon test results indicate statistical significance (p = 0.000), confirming the effectiveness of the combined cold compress and Islamic Spiritual Mindfulness therapy in mitigating postoperative pain severity in fracture patients at Dr. R. Sosodoro Djatikoesoemo Regional General Hospital, Bojonegoro. Conclusion: These findings suggest that incorporating cold compress therapy and Islamic Spiritual Mindfulness may serve as a viable complementary strategy for postoperative fracture pain management.

Abstract

Penyakit gout arthritis terus meningkat, keluhan yang sering timbul adalah nyeri pada sendi. Salah satu terapi nonfarmakologi nyeri yaitu kompres hangat daun kelor dan terapi nafas dalam berbasis islami. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh kombinasi kompres hangat daun kelor dan terapi nafas dalam berbasis islami terhadap penurunan nyeri sendi pada pasien gout arthritis di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Deket. Desain penelitian ini adalah pra-experimental one-group pre-post test design. Populasi sebanyak 80 pasien dan jumlah sampel sebanyak 44 pasien. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Intervensi yang dilakukan berupa pemberian kombinasi kompres hangat daun kelor dan terapi nafas dalam berbasis islami selama 3 hari berturut-turut sesuai SOP kompres hangat daun kelor dan terapi nafas dalam berbasis islami terhadap penurunan nyeri sendi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata tingkat nyeri sendi sebelum perlakuan yaitu 6,98. Sesudah diberikan perlakuan rata-rata tingkat nyeri sendi yaitu 4,98. Hasil uji statistik pre-post uji wilcoxon didapatkan nilai signifikasi yang artinya ada pengaruh kombinasi kompres hangat daun kelor dan terapi nafas dalam berbasis islami terhadap penurunan nyeri sendi. Oleh karena itu, terapi ini dapat diterapkan sebagai salah satu terapi nonfarmakologi dalam menurunkan nyeri pada pasien gout arthritis

Abstract

Hipertensi merupakan masalah kesehatan global yang memerlukan pendekatan pengobatan yang komprehensif. Terdapat dua jenis pengobatan hipertensi: farmakologis dan nonfarmakologis. Pengobatan farmakologis memiliki efek jangka panjang yang dapat membahayakan tubuh. Oleh karena itu, peneliti mengembangkan terapi nonfarmakologis yang menggabungkan terapi minuman jahe herbal dan terapi relaksasi spiritual Islam, yang memiliki efek samping yang minimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi dampak terapi MISANJA (Mindful-ness Spiritual Islam dan Minuman Jahe) terhadap tekanan darah pasien hipertensi. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan metode Pra-Eksperimental, yang dicirikan oleh desain one-group pre-post-test. Teknik total sampling digunakan untuk merekrut 120 responden untuk penelitian ini. Variabel tekanan darah dinilai menggunakan sphygmomanometer. Data dianalisis menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata tekanan darah pre-sistolik dan post-sistolik menurun dari 156,23 menjadi 123,48, seperti yang ditunjukkan oleh penelitian. Rata-rata tekanan darah pra-diastolik dan pasca-diastolik menurun dari 97,68 menjadi 82,28 mmHg. Hasil di atas menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan pada tingkat tekanan darah sebelum dan sesudah pengobatan, dengan nilai p sebesar 0,000 (p 0,05).

Abstract

Introduction: Online learning is a global trend in higher education in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic. Online learning becomes one of the approaches available to most students and educators, as opposed to face-to-face learning. The aim of this research is to find out the correlation of online learning and satisfaction among nursing students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: This study was a cross-sectional approach involving 177 second-year nursing students randomly selected resulting in 121 students. Students filled out an online learning questionnaire consisting of 14 items and a satisfaction questionnaire consisting of 21 items from Google Forms. Data were analysed using logistic regression with level of significance (p=0.000). Results: The online learning indicator that had the highest average value was relevance (3.12), while the highest average value of student satisfaction indicator was content (3.05). Logistic regression showed that the online learning indicator that greatly affected student satisfaction was attractiveness. Fair attractiveness for online learning increased satisfaction by 7.516 times compared to poor attractiveness (p = 0.000) and good attractiveness for online learning increased satisfaction by 55.538 times compared to poor attractiveness (p = 0.000). Conclusions: Student satisfaction depends heavily on student attractiveness to the online learning process. Lecturers can increase the attractiveness of students toward online learning, whether through the utilized media, learning methods, or the technology of delivering lecture materials.
