Halalan thayyiban is an important legitimacy that must be owned by every business, especially in food products or products such as beauty and so on as a benchmark for safety and to increase consumer awareness of the importance of using products that already have halal certification and food labeling logos greatly affect the quality of the product. This study aims to determine how the public's perception, especially for Muslim consumers, is in understanding or interpreting food products that are halal thayyiban and how to solve problems related to challenges and opportunities faced by Indonesia in halal certification of food products that are in accordance with applicable BPJPH or LPH regulations. This study uses the SLR paradigm approach or systematic literature review obtained from journals that have been published from 2015 to 2024 after being traced, the results obtained show that there is still a lack of public understanding of the importance of halal certification for a food product because many people still think that food products that do not contain pork, alcohol and the like are included in products that are halal for consumption, but halal standardization is not only seen in terms of product ingredients but also from the production process of using clean kitchen utensils, kitchen sanitation or clean production areas and the like which are very important aspects in assessing the halal standardization of food products that are in accordance with applicable procedures and currently the demand for foreign products, especially halal-certified food or beauty products, is in great demand abroad because it is considered that the goods to be consumed have standardization and go through a very strict process so that they are considered safe for direct consumption can increase the export value of Indonesia in advancing MSME products, especially the halal industry which is currently increasing

The rapid growth of the halal fashion industry raises concerns about the environment, particularly regarding textile waste, which contradicts the principles of sustainability in Islam. This study aims to analyze the role of the circular economy in waste reduction within the halal fashion industry from the perspective of Maqashid Syariah. Employing the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, this research examines previous studies focused on the application of the circular economy in the halal fashion sector. The findings indicate that circular economy principles, such as reuse, recycling, and extending product life, significantly contribute to waste reduction and align with Maqashid Syariah, particularly in preserving wealth (hifz al-mal) and the environment (hifz al-biah). The study concludes that integrating the circular economy with the principles of Islamic economics promotes a more sustainable and competitive halal fashion industry. A key implication of this research is the necessity for collaboration among policymakers, industry stakeholders, and consumers to establish regulations and practices that foster a sustainable halal fashion business ecosystem.

The understanding of the alternative economic school proposed by Timur Kuran is a study that encompasses various approaches and models different from the conventional economic system. The focus of the alternative economic school is to create a more just, sustainable, and human and environmentally oriented system. This research aims to explore the contemporary economic thoughts of the alternative school of Timur Kuran. The method used in this research is literature review with descriptive analysis. Timur Kuran asserts the superiority of Islamic economic theory and highlights economic practices aligned with Islamic principles as a response to the imbalances and injustices within the capitalist system. The goal is to enhance the economy and strengthen Islamic identity amid cultural globalization. Moreover, he rejects the concept of interest based on the fundamental principle of Islamic economics, the prohibition of usury, deeming it exploitative and unjust in wealth distribution. Kuran also criticizes the zakat redistribution system, questioning its effectiveness and pointing out inadequacies in fund management and allocation, leading to limited impact in addressing poverty.

This research uses a literature approach sourced from books, journals and articles that are in accordance with the topic and focus of the research. The literature study method is used in this research to find scientific and theoretical studies. The analysis technique used uses the concept of exponential growth which consists of six stages. The results of this study show that sharia insurance in Indonesia has gone through exponential stages similar to technological developments in other industries. Six stages such as digitalization, deception, disruption, dematerialization, demonetization and democratization have adopted technology and found new ways to integrate those innovations into the business, allowing to increase efficiency, lower costs, and provide added value to customers. PT Asuransi Jasindo Syariah is one of the sharia insurance companies in Indonesia that shows a significant increase to reach the democratization stage, because it is not only a sharia insurance application, but there are many choices of features other than insurance such as several Islamic articles, sadaqah features and the implementation of cash waqf.

The rapid expansion of e-commerce and digital financial services has transformed consumer behavior, particularly among Generation Z. One notable innovation is the Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) system, known on the Shopee platform as Shopee PayLater. While this feature offers flexibility and instant access to goods, it also increases impulsive buying behavior and overconsumption, raising concerns from the perspective of Islamic economics. This study aims to analyze the phenomenon of impulsive buying through Shopee PayLater using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. Fifteen academic articles published within the last five years were reviewed to explore the relationship between BNPL services, consumer behavior, and Islamic economic values. The findings reveal that BNPL significantly contributes to impulsive purchases and potential financial instability among young consumers. From the perspective of Maqashid Syariah, such behavior is associated with israf (extravagance) and gharar (uncertainty), which contradict the principle of protecting wealth (hifz al-mal). The study concludes that strengthening Islamic financial literacy is essential to prevent excessive consumption in the digital economy and to ensure that financial practices remain aligned with ethical and sustainable Islamic principles.
