Abstract

Current students need to be aware that self-efficacy in digital literacy is essential to ensure openness to technology and to possess the competence to manage available information. Digital literacy is related to the skills required to live, learn, and work in a digital society. Students who have self-efficacy in digital literacy skills will be able to strategically use technology to find and evaluate information, connect and collaborate with others, produce and share content, and use the internet and technology to achieve various personal, academic, and professional goals. This research is conducted in the form of a quantitative approach using Two-way ANOVA data analysis. The aim of this research is to describe self-efficacy in digital literacy skills among Generation Z students and the use of information and communication technology in learning.

Abstract

ASEAN mengalami penurunan perekonomian hingga -3,4% dari total GDP pada tahun 2020 akibat pandemi Covid-19. Oleh sebab itu, sesuai dengan piagam ASEAN (ASEAN Charter) pasal 1 (1,2) yang dalam tujuannya menjelaskan tentang bagaimana ASEAN memelihara dan meningkatkan perdamaian, keamanan dan stabilitas kawasan serta meningkatkan ketahanan kawasan melalui kerja sama dalam bidang politik, keamanan, sosial budaya dan ekonomi menjadikan ASEAN turut andil dalam pemulihan ekonomi kawasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana strategi ASEAN dalam memulihkan perekonomian kawasan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dan studi pustaka untuk mengumpulkan data. Konsep yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah fungsi dari organisasi internasional yaitu fungsi artikulasi dan agregasi, fungsi operasi, dan fungsi informasi. Melalui ketiga fungsi tersebut, penulis menemukan bahwa ASEAN mampu mengembalikan kestabilan perekonomian kawasan dengan langkah-langkah yang diambil oleh ASEAN mulai dari melakukan pertemuan dengan negara anggota dengan tujuan untuk berbagi informasi, melakukan kerja sama antar negara anggota dan negara mitra lainnya serta meng-update informasi seputar perkembangan kasus Covid-19 dan pengaruhnya terhadap ekonomi. Melalui langkah tersebut, ASEAN mampu memulihkan perekonomian kawasan. Ini dapat dilihat dari kenaikan GDP ASEAN mencapai 5,0% pada tahun 2022.

Abstract

North Korea's aggressiveness in launching ballistic missiles has threatened the security stability of East Asia. As a state under threat, South Korea formed a joint security partnership with the United States through the deployment of THAAD in 2016. However, China has opposed it by arguing that THAAD would threaten domestic and regional security stability. As a result, China's rejection led to the presence of the phenomenon of economic retaliation which resulted in a decrease in the value of South Korea-China bilateral trade and distrust. Nevertheless, after negotiations, the two countries decided to improve bilateral relations in 2017. This paper aims to determine China's motivation in improving bilateral relations with South Korea as a foreign policy decision after rejecting the deployment of THAAD under the guise of threatening to trigger bilateral polemics. This research will be analyzed through qualitative methods with the conceptual framework of foreign policy determinants by Shannon L. Blanton and Charles Kegley. In this conceptual framework, there are five determinants that influence foreign policy decision making namely military capabilities, economic conditions, type of government, global distributions of power, and geopolitical factors. Furthermore, Blanton & Kegley's conceptual framework identifies that each of these determinants influenced China's motivation to improving bilateral relations with South Korea after the THAAD polemic.

Abstract

On 2016, diplomatic relations between South Korea and Tiongkok deteriorated because THAAD. During the THAAD crisis,Tiongkok banned all activities related to the hallyu. Moon Jae In offering Three Nos agreement to Tiongkok try to improve diplomatic relations. This research aims to describe and analyze South Korea’s effort in dissemination the Hallyu in Tiongkok afterthe Three Nos agreement uses the Image Restoration concept written by William L. Benoit. Strategies contained in image restoration theory are denial: simple denial and shift the blame, evasion of responbility: provocation, defeasbility, accident, good intensions, reducing offensivnes of event: bolstering, minimization, differentiation, transcendence, attack accuser, compensation, corrective action, and mortification. The research methoed used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach and uses library research in data collection. Researchers found that the strategy used by South Korea was bolstering by involving EXO CBX and Song Hye Kyo in diplomatic activites with Tiongkok and compensation by using Chinese idols to promote the Hallyu in Tiongkok.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi pada era saat ini telah menjadi penting terutama di bidang pendidikan. SD 07 Kubang Putiah telah menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar dan penggunaan teknologi dalam proses pembelajarannya. Namun penerapan tersebut masih belum optimal dan menghadapi beberapa kendala yaitu terbatasnya media pembelajaran, minimnya pengetahuan guru tentang perangkat multimedia serta ketidakmerataan penguasaan teknologi di kalangan guru yang menghambat efektivitas pembelajaran. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman guru-guru di SD 07 Kubang Putiah mengenai penggunaan Articulate Storyline dalam menciptakan konten pembelajaran interaktif. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pemaparan materi, praktik langsung dan sesi evaluasi. Sebanyak 20 guru dari berbagai bidang studi mengikuti pelatihan ini. Hasil pelatihan ini adalah adanya peningkatan keterampilan teknis guru dan keterlibatan siswa melalui materi yang lebih menarik serta penguatan kolaborasi antar pendidik di sekolah.

Abstract

Good governance has an important role in sustainable development in Bangladesh. As a developing country, Bangladesh faces a range of economic, political, social challenges and has placed significant hope in good governance to achieve sustainable development and address development-related issues. Since gaining independence in 1971, the development process in Bangladesh has faced challenges. Bangladesh has initiated the adoption of principles of good governance to improve its poor economic, political, and social conditions and to realize sustainable development. This study aims to analyze the implications of implementing good governance on sustainable development in Bangladesh. This is a qualitative research used the literature review analysis. The study used the concept of good governance and sustainable development from the UNDP which states that good governance is a crucial prerequisite for achieving sustainable development. The findings of this study indicate that the implementation of good governance in Bangladesh is primarily influenced by external pressures. The implications of implementing good governance in Bangladesh have not been fully maximized, especially concerning principles such as participation, transparency, the rule of law, justice, and accountability.

Abstract

Distance learning often poses challenges for teachers, particularly in understanding the diverse learning styles of their students. The inability to recognize and accommodate these differences can lead to monotonous teaching approaches, which hinder students' comprehension and creativity. This study aims to evaluate the application of learning style concepts developed by Peter Honey and Alan Mumford, implemented in a Learning Management System (LMS) designed by the researcher to support creative learning practices. The research method used is research and development with the Plomp model. This study involved 219 students enrolled in an introductory programming course at Universitas Negeri Padang. The results indicate that respondents' experiences in six aspects—attractiveness, clarity, efficiency, reliability, stimulation, and novelty—received favorable evaluations. This study emphasizes the importance of understanding students' learning styles and using appropriate media to create an environment that supports exploring ideas and innovation, enabling students to develop their creativity optimally while ensuring equal opportunities for all students to grow and succeed.
