Abstract

Efforts to assist and improve the quality of data analysis in scientific publications for the academic community of Stikes Majapahit Mojokerto are held as an effort to increase the achievement of scientific publications in reputable publications which are very important to improve the accreditation status of universities. The purpose of this activity is to improve participants' understanding of the preparation of reputable scientific articles, participants' ability to model in SEM using AMOS, and the ability of the academic community to write and discuss the results of modeling analysis in scientific articles. This activity was carried out from April-June 2023 at Stikes Majapahit Mojokerto. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of the concepts of SEM and Multivariate, CFA and path analysis and scientific article management. This activity should be an annual event that can boost the achievement of scientific publications, especially in the health academic community. keywords: Mentoring, improvement, quality, analysis, publication.

Abstract

 Background: The majority of Krangganharjo Village residents work as farmers, and the area is mostly rice fields. Health problems such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus and gout often occur in people aged 55 years and over. Even though health facilities are good, the public's willingness to participate in health activities such as posyandu (Posyandu) or health checks is still low.   Method: This activity aims to examine the impact of Maumere dance exercises on hypertension in elderly residents in Krangganharjo Village. Activity   Results: The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge about hypertension and Maumere dance after the intervention. In addition, the participants showed a significant reduction in blood pressure after the Maumere dance practice.   Conclusion: From this activity it can be concluded that community service activities such as education, blood pressure measurement, and the Maumere dance can effectively reduce hypertension in the elderly population. Thus the importance of physical activity, such as Maumere dance, in improving heart health and reducing hypertension.

Abstract

Background: Complementary cupping therapy also known as cupping therapy, is a traditional healing practice that has been used for thousands of years in various cultures. In fact, there are still many people who are not yet familiar with and can experience complementary cupping therapy directly.Objective: The aim of this community service is to provide an introduction, understanding and experience to the people of Cepaka Village regarding complementary therapies, especially cupping therapy, as an effort to improve the quality of life of the communityMethod: This activity uses a Community-Based Participatory approach. The implementation took place in Pilangpayung Village, Toroh District, Grobogan Regency for 1 days, namely 8 February 2024. There were 9 participants.Results: The level of community knowledge before being given counseling had an average score of 70 and after being given counseling had an average score of 90. 83% of participants felt satisfied and there were changes after therapy.Conclusion: There was an increase in community knowledge after counseling and some Most people are satisfied with complementary cupping therapy services.K

Abstract

Background: Toddlers with a low birth weight (BGM) are those whose weight falls below the red line on the Child Health Card (KMS). BGM are toddlers with growth disorders and require special attention, including supplementary feeding and counseling. Mung bean porridge is a food made from mung beans, due to its high vegetable protein content. Objective: Participants will improve their knowledge and skills in making mung bean porridge. Method: This program uses a scientific lecture method, as well as practical cooking techniques for making mung bean porridge and pudding. Results: Evaluation was conducted by asking participants questions about the theory of making mung bean porridge. All mothers present were able to answer questions about the theory and practical observations of making mung bean porridge. Conclusion: The knowledge dissemination and demonstration of making mung bean porridge for BGM (below the red line) nutritional status activities were very effective in increasing participants' knowledge because they included demonstrations on how to make mung bean porridge correctly.
