Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of giving green bean juice on changes in hemoglobin levels in preconception mothers at the Danau Biru Health Center. This study used a pre-experimental design with one group pre-post test design. The sample used was a purposive sampling method with a sample size of 26 respondents. Data collection using observation sheets and data analysis using the Independent Sample T Test analysis with a significance level of 95% (α = 0.05), obtained a p value = 0.013 and a static tick test through a significance level of 95% IK value of 10.9 which means that giving green bean juice is 10.20 times more likely to increase hemoglobin levels, so it can be concluded that there is an effect of giving green bean juice on changes in hemoglobin levels in preconception mothers. This study was conducted to help preconception mothers in dealing with pregnancy and to increase knowledge about Hb.

Abstract

The use of contraceptives can reduce 32% of maternal mortality rates and 10% of child mortality rates in the world. This study aims to determine the influence of factors that influence the use of MKJP in the work area of the Suwawa Tengah Health Care. This study uses an analytical observational method with a cross-sectional approach. The sample used was a total sampling method of 28 respondents. Data collection using a questionnaire sheet and data analysis using chi-square test analysis with a significance level of 95% (α = 0.05). The age factor obtained a p value = 0.029 and statistical tests through a 95% IK value of 10.7. The parity factor obtained a p value = 0.046, OR = 7.125. The education factor obtained a p value = 0.046 OR = 8.000. The work factor obtained a p value = 0.078, OR = 8. The knowledge factor obtained a p value = 0.008, OR = 15.00. Husband support factor obtained p value = 0.023, OR = 8.000 and health worker support obtained p value = 0.023, OR = 8.00. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between age, parity, education, knowledge, husband support and health worker support with the use of MKJP. There is no relationship between work and the use of MKJP at the Suwawa Tengah Primary Health Care.

Abstract

First pregnancy, or primigravida, often became a period filled with anxiety for pregnant women. This anxiety could be influenced by various factors, one of which was family support. Adequate support from family was critical to help pregnant women cope with anxiety during pregnancy, especially in the first, second, and third trimesters. This study aimed to determine the level of family support in overcoming anxiety levels in primigravida pregnant women during the first, second, and third trimesters at Kabila Health Center, Bone Bolango Regency. This study used a descriptive quantitative design. Data were collected through a questionnaire given to 45 primigravida pregnant women registered at Kabila Health Center. The results showed that most respondents who received good family support tended to have lower anxiety levels. Conversely, pregnant women with less family support tended to experience higher anxietyFamily support played an important role in helping to reduce anxiety in primigravida pregnant women. Therefore, it was highly recommended that families actively provide support during pregnancy.

Abstract

Abstract

Antenatal Care (ANC) is an essential health service during pregnancy that aims to detect risks early and maintain the health of the mother and fetus. Although the government has set a minimum standard of six ANC visits, the realization at the Sipatana Health Center in 2023 is still low, with K4 coverage of 34.8% and K6 only 30.5%. This indicates the low level of compliance of pregnant women in making ANC visits. Health cadres have an important role in increasing compliance through education and assistance. This study aims to examine the relationship between the role of health cadres and compliance with ANC visits. The approach used is quantitative with a cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 50 health cadres selected through total sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires that has gone through validity and reliability tests and documentation of medical records, then analyzed using the Chi-Square Test of Independence. The results showed that 46% of cadres played a less role and 26% were very less, and 60% of pregnant women were not compliant with ANC visits. There is a significant relationship between the role of health cadres and the level of compliance of pregnant women (p = 0.033  OR = 4,09). Conclusion: The role of cadres has a significant effect on compliance with ANC visits. Strengthening the capacity of cadres is very necessary to increase service coverage.
