Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan guru PAUD dalam membaca notasi  musik dan menciptakan lagu sederhana di Kecamatan Kaliwates Kabupaten Jember.  Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan mengingat lagu merupakan komponen utama  dalam pendidikan anak usia dini, (AUD).   Namun fakta di lapangan, menunjukkan bahwa kebanyakan para  guru AUD masih minim dalam penguasaan notasi.  Minimnya pengetahuan tentang notasi musik ini berimplikasi pada kesulitaan pengembangan khasanah lagu-lagu bagi anak didik., sehingga lagu-lagu  yang diberikan, cenderung plagiasi dari lagu yang sudah ada.  Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan  dengan metode Participatory Action Research dalam bentuk pelatihan   membaca notasi musik dan menciptakan lagu sederhana yang terbagi dalam tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan , dan evaluasi.  Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini  menunjukkan  adanya peningkatan pemahaman  para  guru AUD terhadap teori-teori notasi musik dan menciptakan lagu sederhana untuk AUD. Antusiasme para guru PAUD dalam mengikuti pelatihan terlihat  melalui serangkaian praktik dan latihan berulang pada peserta. Pemahaman mulai meningkat terhadap teori musik dan tanda ritme.  Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan ini berpotensi untuk memperluas kreativitas guru-guru.

Abstract

The STEAM approach is a learning approach that encourages students to think more broadly about science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics which is packaged in fun and inspiring integrated learning activities. The objectives of this research are 1) Describe the implementation of the STEAM approach to develop children's creativity. 2) Describe the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing the STEAM approach to develop children's creativity. This research uses a qualitative research approach and field research type. The location of this research is Kindergarten ABA 4 Jember. Determining informants using purposive techniques. Data collection techniques used non-participant observation, semi-structured interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses descriptive qualitative with an interactive model, namely: data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data triangulation uses source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results of this research are: 1) Implementation of the STEAM approach to develop the creativity of children aged 5-6 years at Kindergarten ABA 4 Jember, namely involving all students actively in learning which includes components of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics to explore, discover and carry out experiments in a lesson. Before implementation, 12 children were at the Early Development stage, 12 children were Developing, and 21 children were Capable. Then, after implementing STEAM, the children experienced creative development, namely 4 children were at the Early Development stage, 13 children were Developing, and 28 children were Capable. 2) Supporting factors: educators have linear teacher education qualifications and have adequate resources. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors: lack of teacher training and skills, as well as lack of parental attention to the development of children's creativity. ABSTRAKPendekatan STEAM merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang mendorong anak didik dalam berpikir lebih luas tentang sains, teknologi, teknik, seni dan matematika yang dikemas dalam kegiatan pembelajaran yang terintegrasi menyenangkan, serta menginspirasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) Mendeskripsikan Implementasi pendekatan STEAM untuk mengembangkan kreativitas anak. 2) Mendeskripsikan faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam Implementasi pendekatan STEAM untuk mengembangkan kreativitas anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dan jenis penelitian lapangan. Lokasi penelitian ini di TK ABA 4 Jember. Penentuan informan menggunakan teknik purposive. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi nonpartisipan, wawancara semi terstruktur dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan model interaktif yaitu: kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Triangulasi data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) Implementasi pendekatan STEAM untuk mengembangkan kreativitas anak usia 5- 6 tahun di TK ABA 4 Jember yaitu melibatkan semua peserta didik secara aktif dalam pembelajaran yang meliputi komponen Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics untuk bereksplorasi, menemukan serta melakukan percobaan dalam suatu pembelajaran. Sebelum diterapkan, ada 12 anak berada pada tahap Awal Perkembangan, 12 anak Berkembang, dan 21 anak Cakap. Kemudian setelah menerapkan STEAM anak mengalami perkembangan kreativitas yaitu 4 anak berada pada tahap Awal Perkembangan, 13 anak Berkembang, dan 28 anak Cakap. 2) Faktor pendukung: pendidik memiliki kualifikasi pendidikan guru yang linier serta memiliki sumber daya yang memadai. Sedangkan Faktor Penghambat: kurangnya pelatihan dan keterampilan guru, serta kurangnya perhatian orang tua terhadap perkembangan kreativitas anak.

Abstract

This research used qualitative research type has descriptive analitical characteristic. This location of research used was Kindergarten School ABA Margokaton 2 Seyegan, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The data collection was conducted by conducting involved observation, in-depth interview and documentation. Data analysis was conducted by giving meaning towards data of which has been succesfully collected and from the data was drawn conclusion. The result of research was education of religion and moral value through science playing activity in Kindergarten School ABA Margokaton 2 Seyegan by using 5 important components, i.e.: Religionity, Sociality, Trusthworthily, Reponsibility, and Environmental Awareness. Meanwhile the methods used were 8, i.e.: Experiment Method, Demonstration Method, Story-Telling Method, Questioning-Answering Method, Job Tour Method, Singing Method, Project Method, and Task Providing Method. The factor influecing education of religion value and moral value in Kindergarten School ABA Margokaton 2 are: (a) Supporting Factor is influenced by: school environment, teacher, and friend, (b) Impeding Factor is influenced by: lack of coordination between teacher and parent, familial environment, social environment, and advancement of technology.

Abstract

Parenting is a very important thing for school institutions to provide knowledge to parents/guardians regarding education for early childhood. The aim of this parenting activity is to provide understanding and guidance to parents/guardians about how to cultivate children's intelligence according to their interests and talents. The activity method carried out is participatory, namely an effort to provide information to parents/guardians of students and teachers so that they have an increased understanding of the material presented. This form of community service activity takes the form of seminars and interactive discussions regarding the intelligence each child has and how to cultivate that intelligence according to the child's interests and talents. The result of this activity is the implementation of parenting activities for parents/guardians of students at Kindergarten ABA IV Mangli, Jember Regency in properly nurturing children's intelligence according to their interests and talents, as well as increasing the understanding of parents/guardians regarding how to cultivate children's intelligence according to their interests. and his talents.

Abstract

The aim of this research is: 1) To describe how children's science skills are developed through the color mixing experimental method in group A at RA Muslimat NU 02 Yosowilangun Kidul, Lumajang Regency, academic year 2022/2023. 2) To describe the obstacles in developing children's science skills in group A at RA Muslimat NU 02 Yosowilangun Kidul Lumajang Regency for the 2022/2023 academic year. This research uses qualitative research using descriptive methods. Meanwhile, to analyze the data using the Milles and Huberman theory. The results of this research concluded that 1) The development of children's science abilities through the experimental method of mixing colors in group A at RA Muslimat NU 02 Yosowilangun Kidul, Lumajang Regency was carried out through several methods, namely the demonstration method, performance method, question and answer method, and the experimental method carried out through the activity of mixing primary and secondary colors. 2) Obstacles in developing children's science skills at RA Muslimat UN 02 are lack of self-confidence, excesses and deficiencies in mixing colors, difficulty concentrating, playing alone and having fun chatting alone. ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) Untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana pengembangan kemampuan sains anak melalui metode ekspeimen pencampuran warna pada kelompok A di RA Muslimat NU 02 Yosowilangun Kidul Kabupaten Lumajang tahun ajaran 2022/2023. 2) Untuk mendeskripsikan kendala dalam pengembangan kemampuan sains anak pada kelompok A di RA Muslimat NU 02 Yosowilangun Kidul Kabupaten Lumajang tahun ajaran 2022/2023.Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Sedangkan untuk menganalisis data menggunakan teori Milles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian ini memperoleh kesimpulan yaitu 1) Pengembangan kemampuan sains anak melalui metode eksperimen pencampuran warna pada kelompok A di RA Muslimat NU 02 Yosowilangun Kidul Kabupeten Lumajang dilakukan melalui beberapa metode yaitu metode demonstrasi, metode unjuk kerja, metode tanya jawab, dan metode eksperimen yang dilakukan melalui kegiatan pencampuran wana-warna primer dan sekunder. 2) Kendala dalam pengembangan kemampuan sains anak di RA Muslimat NU 02 yaitu kurangnya rasa percaya diri, kelebihan dan kekurangan takaran dalam mencampurkan warna, sulit konsentrasi, bermain sendiri dan asik mengobrol sendiri.

Abstract

Interest in learning is still a classic problem teachers face in the learning process. The learning environment is one of the school resources that has the potential to arouse students' interest in learning. This research aims to explore and investigate how the design of the physical environment of classrooms or study rooms at the Alam Nurul Islamic School (SANI) Jember can influence students' interests. The research focus was analyzed using the theories of Tomkins, Renninger, Hidi, and several other relevant theories. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, where data collection is carried out through observation, interviews, documentation, and photography. Data analysis uses the theories of Milles, Huberman, and Saldana with three steps, namely data condensation, data presentation, and verification. The SANI learning environment is managed with the nature-based school concept by utilizing and optimizing the characteristics of the school environment, such as context, content, and learning processes. In this research, strategies, and interventions in the planning and substance of natural environment-based space management by creating a natural learning environment infrastructure can increase students' motivation, attention, and learning experience and potentially increase student interest and engagement.
