Abstract

Data in RW 02 Bandarharjo Semarang regency shows that every year since 2017-2019 there are always deaths due to leptospirosis. The purpose of this study is to mapping of leptospirosis and the mount of Rattus sp infected with Leptospira sp, describe the environmental conditions and hygiene behavior. A cross sectional method was used in this study. The study population included Rattus sp. and all houses in RW 02 Bandarharjo. Rattus sp. samples were all captured at the study site, while home samples totaled 48 houses around the house of leptospirosis patients within a radius of 150 meters. Data collection is done through environmental observations, interviews, collecting coordinate points, trapping, and laboratory tests. Examination of rat kidney blood samples was done by gram negative staining. A total of 13 rats were caught Rattus sp, 15.4% of them were indicated to be strongly positive containing Leptospira sp. All conditions of landfills are in an open condition, 89.6% of them are in front of the house, 45.8% of sewers are flooded with water that does not flow. There are 20.8% of respondents do not have the habit of washing hands / feet with soap, more than 50% of respondents ignore the use of protective equipment when cleaning sewers, warehouses, and rat droppings. There are 2 Rattus sp which are indicated to be strongly positive containing Leptospira sp. so that the mobility of Rattus sp can spread leptospirosis at the location in the buffer region.Keywords: leptospirosis, mapping, environment, health behaviour

Abstract

Tuberkulosis (TB) merupakan masalah kesehatan yang serius di dunia, termasuk di Indonesia.Dari survey yang didapat di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Parungponteng KabupatenTasikmalaya pada tahun 2012 jumlah penderita suspek TB Paru sebanyak 49 orang. Tujuanpenelitian ini untuk mengetahui Faktor-Faktor Yang Berhubungan Dengan Kejadian SuspekTb Paru yang terdiri dari umur, pendidikan, pendapatan, status gizi, kebiasaan merokok,ventilasi, dan keberadaan sumber penularan.Analitik case control. Populasi adalah seluruh penderita suspek Tb Paru di wilayah UPTDPuskesmas Parungponteng yang berjumlah 30 orang pada tahun 2012. Teknik pengambilansampel secara acak dan di dapatkan 30 sampel kasus dan 30 kontrol. Uji statistik yangdigunakan adalah Chisquare.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara umur (P=1,00;OR=0,769; CI 95%= 0,185-3,198), pendidikan (P= 0,195; OR= 0,172; CI 95%= 0,019-1,576), pendapatan (P= 0,417; OR= 1,556; CI 95%= 0,534-4,532), status gizi (P= 0,612; OR= 3,22;CI 95%= 0,316- 32,889), kebiasaan merokok (P= 0,584; OR= 1,351; CI 95%= 0,460-3,968),ventilasi ( P= 0,592; OR= 1,33; 0,465-3,823) dengan kejadian suspek Tb paru, dan adahubungan yang signifikan antara keberadaan sumber penularan dengan kejadian suspek TbParu ( P= 0,005; OR= 2,364; CI 95%= 1,721-3,247).Bagi Puskesmas sebaiknya perlu dilakukan investigasi terhadap kontak serumah dan tetanggapenderita guna menemukan penderita yang belum ditemukan.Kata kunci : suspek Tb Paru

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is chronic disease caused by the pancreas is unable to produce enough insulin and the body can not effectively use the insulin. International Diabetes Federation mentioned that cases of diabetes mellitus in the world, 2012 reached 23.41milion people and will increase to 366 milion people in 2030. Based on data from the city health office Semarang years 2012-2014, cases of type 2 diabetes mellitus in the Kedungmundu primary health center is the highest among all primary health centers in Semarang, as many as 2,147 cases in 2012, 1,713 cases in 2013 and 3,073 cases in 2014. There are four ways to control diabetes, one of them is doing excercise. The exercise, at least 30 minutes, can control blood sugar level. Exercises are recommended for diabetics are aerobic exercises such as jogging, walking, and gymnastic in group. In 2012 zumba became famous and it is gymnastic group that combines elements of aerobic and dance. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of gymnastic zumba to decrease blood sugar on people with type 2 diabetes mellitus in the Kedungmundu Primary Health Center Semarang.This research was pre-experiment method, using one group pre and post-test design. Sampel for this research were 38 participants, aged 15-44 years old. Data was analyzed by paired sample T-test and wilcoxon test.Result showed the difference between blood sugar level before and after first until fourth zumba (p-value 0,0001 < α 0,05), so there was effect of zumba excercise with blood sugar level since blood sugar level decrease significantly in the four time of zumba exercises.Zumba as one of alternative solution  to control blood sugar level, so diabetes mellitus patient was recommended to practice it.Keywords :diabetes mellitus, gymnastic zumba, blood sugar level

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is a disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Beginning in 2015, the main indicators of TB control programs nationally are TB Case Notification Rate (CNR) and Success Rate of Treatment of Succes Rate (TSR). In 2014 the CNR showed 42.1% and in 2015 49.4% or the case finding in Jepara increase 7.3%. It indicated that the program have not reached the target that should decrease 3-4% per year. This was quantitative research, with cross sectional approach. The subjects were twenty one TB surveillance officers at the pubic health centers in Jepara Regency.The questionnaire condatasisted of motivation and performance of management was used for collecting data. The Chi Square test was used for analyzing data with p-value 0,05 and confidence interval 95%. Based on the research, there was relationship between motivation and CNR (p-value 0,035) but performance management was not related to CNR (p-value 0,131) The TB surveillance officers have to record and report properly, correctly and on time. The head of puskesmas continue to motivate the officers and TB officer in Jepara Health Office should monitor the activities that carried out by each puskesmas.Keywords: work motivation, performance management, CNR, TB

Abstract

Central Java is one of the provinces with the highest number of positive Covid-19 cases in Indonesia, with 46,903 positive infected cases, with a death rate of 2,110 people (4.49%).  During the COVID-19 pandemic, community activities decrease, especially during the fasting month.  Their diet has also changed.  This study aimed to describe and analyse the relationship between nutritional intake and physical activity on people's sleep quality during the fasting month during the COVID-19 pandemic.  The benefit of this research is to provide information on factors related to people's sleep quality, so as to improve public health. The novelty of this research is on aspects of physical activity, and people's sleep quality during the fasting month during the covid-19 pandemic. This research method is observational using a cross-sectional approach. The research was conducted during the fasting month (Ramadan 2021) to find out the nutritional intake, physical activity, and quality of people's sleep while fasting amid the COVID-19 pandemic. This study was attended by 520 respondents who were willing to fill out a questionnaire distributed via Googleform. Respondents in this study were limited to people who live in Central Java. The selection of respondents using the cluster sampling technique and then the snowball method.  The questionnaires were the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), IPAQ and DQI.  The results showed no relationship between physical activity and slept quality during the fasting month (p : 0.402).  There is a relationship between food consumption, sleep quality (p: 0.0001), and physical activity (0.007) during the fasting month.
