Abstract

Law enforcement in zakāt compliance can increase the influence of social motivation. The existence of attitudes and subjective norms in exploring business owners and companies in the form of shares is also obliged to pay zakāt if it is fulfilled that profits continue and have reached ḥaul and niṣāb. This research is a study that uses an associative qualitative approach. Data analysis in this study uses the Spradley model, which begins with determining key informants. The implementation of shari’a stock zakāt distribution on mustaḥiq economic empowerment through the development of sustainable economic productivity in practice needs adjustments to shari’a economic law because the existence of soft financing without excess profit margins with a qarḍ al-ḥasan contract has become an alternative to financial inclusion. Therefore, it is necessary to implement alternative financial inclusion through Islamic zakāt shares to empower mustaḥiq MSMEs with qarḍ al-ḥasan products. Thus, law enforcement on zakāt collection can increase the distribution of zakāt that is right on target and sustainably utilized by mustaḥiq.

Abstract

This study examines the hadith on honey as medicine through the perspective of Hadith Studies (Ilmu Hadis), focusing on takhrīj, chain (sanad) analysis, and textual (matan) criticism. Although the hadith on honey is frequently discussed in the context of prophetic medicine, its analysis from a strict hadith methodological framework remains limited. This research aims to assess the authenticity of the hadith, analyze the narrators’ network, and explore its relevance within contemporary hadith discourse. Employing qualitative library research, primary data were obtained from canonical hadith collections, particularly Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī and Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, while secondary data were drawn from works of jarḥ wa ta‘dīl, hadith commentaries, and recent academic journals. The findings reveal that the hadith is classified as ṣaḥīḥ li dhātih, with a continuous chain and reliable transmitters. The matn analysis confirms its coherence with Qur’anic principles and rational considerations. This study emphasizes the importance of grounding thematic hadith studies in rigorous hadith methodology.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the potential of the Prophet Muhammad's hadith as a source of Islamic environmental ethics through an eco-theological approach in the context of contemporary environmental conservation. This study was library research, with the main data in the form of ecologically nuanced hadiths that are analysed thematically and contextually. The analysis was conducted within the framework of the theological relationship between God, humans, and nature to uncover the environmental ethical values contained in the hadith. The results reveal that the Prophet's hadith contain comprehensive environmental ethical principles, including the concepts of caliphate and trust, the prohibition of causing damage (fasād), the principles of cleanliness, moderation (wasathiyah), balance (mīzān), and the protection of living creatures. These values emphasize that environmental preservation is an integral part of the responsibility of faith and ethical practice of Muslims. In terms of novelty and contribution, this study offers a formulation of a systematic and applicable hadith-based Islamic environmental ethics framework, and positions the hadith as a strategic normative source in supporting environmental conservation and sustainable development.
