Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kinerja pegawai pada Biro Administrasi Akademik dan Kemahasiswaan Universitas Negeri Makassar. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 51 orang. Mengingat populasinya yang tidak begitu banyak dan dapat dijangkau, maka seluruh populasi dijadikan responden, satu orang  disamping sebagai responden juga sebagai informan yaitu Ibu Dra. Halidjah Pagarra Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, angket, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis data secara deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan dan menjelaskan suatu keadaan secara persentase dalam bentuk tabel frekuensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Upaya Peningkatan Kinerja Pegawai Pada Biro Administrasi Akademik dan Kemahasiswaan Universitas Negeri Makassar, berada pada kategori meningkat. Ditinjau dari Pendidikan dan Pelatihan (diklat) berada pada kategori meningkat, motivasi berada pada kategori cukup meningkat, dan disiplin berada pada kategori meningkat..Kata Kunci: Kinerja, Pegawai

Abstract

Abstrak: Malaria adalah penyakit infeksi disebabkan oleh parasit Plasmodium yang hidup danberkembang biak dalam sel darah merah manusia yang ditularkan oleh nyamuk malaria (Anopheles) betina. Malaria dapat menyerang semua orang: laki-laki ataupun perempuan dan pada semuagolongan umur: bayi, anak-anak atau orang dewasa. Sejak tahun 2000 kematian akibat malariasecara global telah menurun sekitar 60%, di mana 65% terjadi pada anak usia balita. Sekitar 3,2miliar penduduk (setengah dari populasi dunia) tinggal di daerah berisiko tertular malaria. Padatahun 2015, diperkirakan terdapat 214 juta kasus malaria, di mana 400 ribu kasus di antaranyamenjadi penyebab kematian. Di Indonesia sendiri terdapat 417.819 kasus positif malaria padatahun 2012 dan menurun hamper setengahnya pada tahun 2016 menjadi 218.450 kasus. Indonesiamengalami kemajuan dalam pemberantasan malaria, terlihat bahwa dari total 258,9 juta pendudukIndonesia pada tahun 2016 sejumlah 178,7 juta penduduk (69%) telah hidup di daerah bebas enularanmalaria, namun masih terdapat 16,5 juta penduduk tinggal di daerah risiko tinggi dan sedang.Dibandingkan dengan tahun sebelumnya terjadi peningkatan presentasi, seiring dengan jumlah daerahkabupaten/kota yang telah mencapai eliminasi pada tahun 2016 sebanyak 247 kab./kota. Malariaselama kehamilan berkonsekuensi menyebabkan kesakitan, kematian, aborsi, kelahiran dini, beratbadan lahir rendah (mengacu pada penghambatan pertumbuhan intra-uterine dan prematuritas) dantransmisi transplacental dari parasit malaria. Infeksi malaria pada ibu hamil tidak hanya dapatmeningkatkan risiko anemia yang dapat meningkatkan risiko perdarahan saat persalinan, namunjuga meningkatkan risiko kematian bayi, prematuritas dan berat badan lahir rendah. Risiko terkenamalaria semakin meningkat terutama pada kehamilan trimester dua, ibu hamil memiliki risiko tigakali lebih besar untuk menderita penyakit parah lainnya bila terinfeksi malaria dibandingkan perempuan yang tidak sedang hamil. Kelompok remaja menjadi sangat penting karena mereka tidak lamalagi akan menikah dan mempunyai anak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui infeksi malariapada remaja di surabaya berdasarkan metode hapusan darah tipis dan tebal. Penelitian ini dilakukandi pusat studi kesehatan pondok pesantren Universitas Nadhlatul Ulama Surabaya. Sebanyak 54remaja diuji dengan menggunakan metode hapusan darah tebal dan hapusan darah tipis. Dari penelitianyang dilakukan didapatkan 54 remaja di Surabaya negatif terhadap malaria dengan menggunakanmetode hapusan darah tebal dan hapusan darah tipis.

Abstract

Age estimation is an important factor in identifying a person, especially in forensic dentistry. One of the methods used in determining age estimation is based on the classification of third molar using the modified Demirjian method. This method can be performed on individuals who already undergoing the growth and development process of the third molars. The purpose of this research was to determine age estimation based on the classification of third molars at the Regional General Hospital of Rokan Hulu, Riau Province. This descriptive observational study involved 63 samples of ethnic Malay based on panoramic photos in medical records from June 2020 to August 2023. The results of this study showed that among males, 23 sample (92%) had a difference of less than one year between chronological age and estimated age. Among females, 28 samples (74%) had a difference of less than one year between chronological age and estimated age. It can be concluded that the estimated age closely approximates the chronological age in both males and females in Rokan Hulu Regency.

Abstract

Plastik konvensional sulit terurai sehingga menimbulkan masalah lingkungan. Sebaliknya, plastik biodegradable adalah plastik yang ramah lingkungan karena cepat terdegradasi oleh mikroorganisme. Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh variasi pati biji nangka, gliserol dan asam asetat, sebagai plastik biodegredable, terhadap sifat mekanik dan biodegradasi. Komposis yang divariasikan terdiri atas pati 3-5 gram, asam asetat 1,5-5 ml dengan jumlah gliserol tetap 1 ml. Uji tarik dilakukan sesuai ASTM D638, sedangkan biodegradasi diuji dengan pemendaman specimen ke dalam tanah selama 5-15 hari. Hasil menunjukan konsentrasi pati dan asam asestat memengaruhi kuat tarik dan elongasi. Nilai tertinggi diperoleh pada pati 5 gram dan asam asetat sebesar 1,17 MPa, sedangkan yang terendah pada pati 5 gram dan asam asetat 1,5 ml sebesar 0,27 MPa. Semua sampel terdegradasi setelah 15 hari, hanya ada satu sampel yang belum terdegradasi dengan tingkat biodegradasi 96%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan plastik berbasis pati biji nangka berpotensi sebagai material biodegredable, meskipun diperlukan peningkatan kekuatan bahan untuk memenuhi standar SNI.

Abstract

Often the rubber tapping knives produced by blacksmiths have cracks and chipped and even broken on their blades, so rubber farmers must often replace them with new knives. Thus the product cannot be used for a long time and has reduced economic value. The cause of this rubber tapping knives made by blacksmiths is easily damaged because the gilding method on the product is not done properly. So the product was produced have a relatively low level of hardness. This study aims to determine the effect of the hardening and quenching process on the hardness of rubber tapping knives made by blacksmiths. Data of test were analyzed using ANOVA with full factorial level design , main effect model design, and 3 replications assisted with Design-Expert software. At a temperature of 800℃, the maximum hardness value of 62,8 HRC obtained from the quenching results using a water cooling media, while the minimum hardness value of 62,2 HRC was obtained from oil cooling media.  At a temperature of 850℃ the maximum hardness value of 60,4 HRC obtained from the quenching results using water cooling media, and the minimum hardness value obtained from the oil cooling media is 59,1 HRC.Keywords: Spring leaf, Hardening , Quenching ; ANOVA; Full Factorial;Rubber tapping knives

Abstract

The development of increasingly sophisticated and modern technology, especially in the industrial field, both machine tools, power plants and metallurgy play an important role in the industrial world. As is the case for machine tools used in the machining process, including lathes, milling machines, drilling machines, scrap machines, grinding, and others. The lathe process is the process of forming a material by removing some of the material in the form of a snarl due to the relative motion of the tool to the workpiece, where the workpiece is rotated on the spindle and the chisel is delivered to the workpiece in a translational manner. The quality of the turning results, especially on the surface, is strongly influenced by three parameters, namely spindle speed (Speed), feed motion (feed), and depth of cut (Depth of Cut). As for other factors that support the quality of the turning results, including the workpiece, the type of chisel used and the cooling media actually have a significant influence, the cooling medium used is Oil, Dromus and Vegetable Oil, the chisel used by HSS and the depth of cutting (F) 0.1 mm and 0.2 mm. The percentage of the effect of variations in cooling media on the surface roughness of SS-400 steel in the turning process is as follows: Oil = 75% Dromus = 64% Vegetable Oil = 70% It can be seen from the above percentage that for now the cooling medium Oil is the most influential cooling medium. And better than Dromus and Vegetable Oil cooling media against roughness in the turning process.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitin ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan produk e-komik matematika berbasis literasi numerasi di kelas IV SD, mendeskripsikan kelayakan produk e-komik matematika berbasis literasi numerasi di kelas IV SD, dan mendeskripsikan respons siswa setelah menggunakan e-komik matematika berbasis literasi numerasi di kelas IV SD. Penelitian ini memakai pendekatan Research & Development (R&D), yang memanfaatkan 7 tahap telah diadaptasi dari model Borg and Gall. Siswa kelas IV dijadikan sebagai subjek penelitian. Penelitian menggunakan wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Penelitian ini mencakup analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Temuan penelitian ini mengarahkan pada pembuatan e-komik matematika berbasis literasi numerasi dengan pokok bahasan bilangan pecahan senilai. Hasil kelayakan e-komik matematika dari kedua validasi ahli media mendapatkan persentase 81,05% dengan kriteria “sangat layak”, sedangkan validasi dua ahli materi mendapatkan persentase 76,25% dengan kriteria “layak”. Respons siswa yang berjumlah 21 reponden mendapatkan persentase 86,50% dengan kriteria “sangat baik”.

Abstract

Urban waste management is a serious challenge for large cities, including Palembang. Jalan Tua Pati Naya Raya is an area with high residential and commercial activity, resulting in increasing amounts of waste, but it is not yet supported by adequate temporary storage sites (TPS). This study aims to design an optimal TPS concept that complies with technical standards and is environmentally friendly to support sustainable waste management. The research methods include field observations, primary and secondary data collection, waste generation analysis, and design planning based on SNI 3242:2008 and Permen PUPR No. 03/PRT/M/2013. The analysis results show that waste generation increased from 31.97 m³/day in 2021 to 56.91 m³/day in 2025 and is projected to reach 117.49 m³/day in 2030. Based on these results, a Type II TPS with a minimum capacity of 100 m³/day is planned on an area of 200 m², equipped with sorting facilities, composting, a closed drainage system, and greening. This design is expected to improve the effectiveness of waste management and the environmental quality of the research area.

Abstract

Population growth and increased urban activity in Palembang City have resulted in an increase in waste volume, particularly in the KH. A. Rasyid Siddiq Road area, which has a high intensity of activity. The existing Temporary Storage Site (TPS) in the area does not meet technical standards, as indicated by its limited storage capacity, lack of waste sorting facilities, inadequate drainage system, and poor environmental aesthetics. This study aims to plan TPS infrastructure that meets waste generation needs, technical standards, and sustainable waste management principles. The research methods included literature studies, field observations, primary and secondary data collection, waste generation analysis, and technical design planning and budget plans (RAB). The results of the analysis show that the volume of waste at the research site reaches 6–8 tons per day with a projected increase to 125.49 m³/day by 2030. Based on the calculation results and land availability, the TPS is planned as a Type II TPS with an area of 192 m² and a storage capacity of 20–30 m³/day, equipped with sorting facilities, a composting area, a leachate drainage system, and a greening area based on the 3R concept. The estimated cost of cnstructing the TPS is IDR 277,060

Abstract

Population growth and urban activities in Palembang City have led to an increase in waste generation, particularly in the Jalan Pangeran Ratu B area, which has a high density of residential and commercial activities. The existing conditions show limitations in the capacity of temporary storage sites (TPS), designs that are not environmentally friendly, and low implementation of waste sorting at the source. This study aims to design a TPS facility that meets waste generation capacity needs, complies with technical standards, and supports sustainable waste management. The research methods include field observations, primary and secondary data collection, waste generation analysis using the formula Q = P × q, and TPS technical design. The analysis results show that the volume of waste generation in 2025 will reach 64.74 m³/day with an average growth rate of 13.4% per year and is projected to increase to 121.42 m³/day in 2030. The planned TPS is categorized as a Type II TPS with a capacity of 15–20 m³, equipped with a sorting area, drainage system, natural ventilation, and supporting facilities based on the 3R concept. This design is expected to improve the effectiveness of waste management, reduce environmental impact, and support the creation of a clean and sustainable urban environment.
