Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of self-understanding intelligence in improving student achievement in Islamic boarding schools in Thailand. Self-understanding intelligence, which includes self-understanding, emotional control, and motivation management, is believed to play an important role in the learning process of students. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a survey design, involving students in several Islamic boarding schools in Thailand as respondents. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires measured by the Likert scale, as well as in-depth interviews to support the quantitative findings. The results of the study show that self-understanding intelligence contributes significantly to the improvement of student's academic achievement. Students who have good self-awareness and can manage their emotions show better performance in the classroom. The novelty of this study is the emphasis on the role of self-understanding intelligence in the context of pesantren education, which has not been widely researched, especially in Thailand. The implications of this study show the importance of developing programs that support students' self-understanding intelligence in the pesantren curriculum. This is expected to increase the effectiveness of learning and academic achievement, as well as help students in facing emotional and social challenges in the pesantren environment.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the legal status of public property rights from the perspective of sharia and strategies for implementing economic welfare and justice for the ummah. The method used in this study is to use qualitative research with a library study. The results of the study show that in the Sharia perspective, there are three types of public property; mining goods (natural resources) which are unlimited in number, and public utilities, and assets which in their original state are forbidden to own personally. Public property status becomes weak when it is not returned to its original state from a Sharia perspective. Coupled with the support of the Law on Water Resources which has not given serious attention to the status of public property rights. The most influential aspect of opportunity in this matter is the potential of public property to create prosperity and economic justice in society. The effectiveness of implementing economic welfare and justice will be realized by restoring the status of public property according to its position in the perspective of Sharia and by applicable government regulations.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the application of reward and punishment as well as spiritual guidance in increasing teacher motivation at SMP Al-Qolam Muhammadiyah Gemolong. The school emphasizes a religious approach to reward and punishment, focusing on the heart and psychological aspects of teachers. The application of reward and punishment is proportionate, focusing on rewarding good behaviour rather than punishing bad behaviour. The school also emphasizes the importance of working for the afterlife, not just for worldly gain. The paper concludes that the application of reward and punishment, as well as spiritual guidance, has resulted in a positive and motivated work environment for teachers at SMP Al-Qolam Muhammadiyah Gemolong and can be applied in other institutions for long-term quality of human resources. Schools must continue to improve their quality and standards.
