Abstract

Cikeusal sub-district is one of the sub-districts in Serang Regency, Banten Province, where most of the residents own cassava farming and cassava processing industry. One of the home industries for processing cassava in Cikeusal is the manufacture of tape made from real cassava and made directly by residents of Cikeusal. In addition to providing economic benefits, the production of cassava tape in the Cikeusal sub-district is the largest producer of cassava. Cassava tape production can reach 150-300 kg per day. The development of Information Technology (IT) has provided new opportunities for people's economic life. With these advances, there is no longer any limit in expanding market share in marketing a product or service that is owned. By taking advantage of this technological development, the people of Cikeusal village have expanded the marketing of tape to various regions. The method of service activities is carried out through training and assistance in the use of information technology related to marketing and sales. The results of this community service activity, by utilizing internet technology, have helped increase sales of tape cookies in Sukaraja Village, Cikeusal District, Serang Regency - Banten. Partners in this community service activity can optimize the sale of tape cookies by using internet media or online media.Kecamatan Cikeusal merupakan salah satu kecamatan di Kabupaten Serang Propinsi Banten yang sebagian besar warganya memiliki pertanian singkong dan industri pengolahan singkong. Salah satu home industry pengolahan singkong di Cikeusal adalah pembuatan tape yang terbuat dari singkong asli dan di buat langsung oleh warga Cikeusal. Selain memberikan keuntungan secara ekonomi, produksi tape singkong di kecamatan Cikeusal merupakan penghasil singkong terbesar. Produksi tape singkong bisa mencapai 150 – 300 kg per hari. Perkembangan Teknologi Informasi (TI) telah memberikan peluang baru bagi kehidupan perekonomian masyarakat. Dengan kemajuan tersebut sudah tidak ada lagi batasan dalam melakukan perluasan pangsa pasar dalam melakukan pemasaran suatu produk atau jasa yang dimiliki. Dengan memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi ini, masyarakat desa Cikeusal melakukan perluasan pemasaran tape ke berbagai wilayah. Metode kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan penggunaan teknologi informasi yang berkaitan dengan pemasaran dan penjualan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini, dengan memanfaatkan teknologi internet telah membantu meningkatkan penjualan tape cookies di Desa Sukaraja Kecamatan Cikeusal Kabupaten Serang – Banten.  Mitra dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dapat mengoptimalkan penjualan tape cookies dengan menggunakan media internet atau media online.

Abstract

Background Zinc is one of the micronutrients that is found deficient in preterm infants. To date, no parenteral zinc supplements are available in Indonesia and there is no recommendation established for routine zinc supplementation in preterm infants. Objective To evaluate the impact of zinc supplementation on growth indicators and morbidity in preterm infants. Methods This double-blind, randomized controlled trial included preterm infants aged 28-32 weeks who were assigned to one of two groups: the first group received a 10 mg zinc supplementation, while the second (control) group received a placebo. At discharge or at a maximum of 40 weeks post-menstrual age (PMA, calculated from the first day of the mother's last menstrual period), the following were evaluated : growth indicators (weight, length, and head circumference), serum zinc level, zinc supplementation side effects, and morbidity rate (intraventricular hemorrhage/IVH, necrotizing enterocolitis/NEC, btonchopulmonary dysplasia/BPD). Data were analyzed with independent T-test using SPSS version 22 software. Results Seventy-eight subjects were assigned to the zinc supplementation group and 76 subjects were assigned to the placebo group. Serum zinc level and mean body weight increment were significantly higher in the zinc group compared to the placebo group (P=0.00 and P=0.02, respectively). There were no significant differences between groups in mean body length or head circumference increment, nor in morbidity rate. Conclusion Preterm infants who received zinc supplementation have higher serum zinc level and mean body weight increment compared to the placebo group. No side effects are observed to have been caused by zinc supplementation.

Abstract

Gaya belajar adalah cara individu untuk menyerap informasi. Dalam perguruan tinggi banyak kegiatan yang dibutuhkannya kemampuan dalam menyerap informasi seperti ketika dosen memberikan materi, sehingga gaya belajar perlu diperhatikan. Dalam penyampaian informai yang diberikan oleh dosen ditemukannya permasalahan dan kebutuhan terkait hal tersebut, yaitu belum tersedianya penentuan klasifikasi gaya belajar pada mahasiswa. Yang mana sekarang ini dosen mengalami kesulitan dalam memberikan penilaian pencapaian kemampuan terhadap mahasiswa berdasarkan kriteria dari gaya belajar dan mengklasifikasikannya, dan  juga untuk  meningkatkan kualitas metode pembelajaran. Adapun saran  yang diberikan untuk tercapainya  tujuan dan  mengatasi permasalahan tersebut yaitu dirancangnya  klasifikasi  gaya belajar pada mahasiswa dan pengolahan data yang dilakukan menggunakan komputer. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Algoritma C4.5. Algoritma C4.5 termasuk dalam klasifikasi berbasis Decision Tree, yang mana algoritma C4.5 merupakan metode yang dapat menangani fitur dengan tipe numerik. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu klasifikasi dengan mengimplementasikan Algoritma C4.5 yang dapat mengetahui kemampuan gaya belajar pada mahasiswa, berdasarkan kriteria yang sudah ditetapkan, sehingga klasifikasi ini dapat semakin mudah, efektif, dan efisien. Manfaat dari hasil klasifikasi ini dapat membantu dosen mengetahui gaya belajar pada mahasiswa untuk dijadikan pertimbangan penilaian dan metode pembelajaran di kelas.

Abstract

BACKGROUND Preterm infants often require continuous positive airway pressure due to immature respiratory tracts. Bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) manifests as prolonged oxygen dependence until 28 days of age and is classified into mild, moderate, or severe forms. The lung recruitment maneuver (LRM) aims to reopen collapsed alveoli, enhancing oxygenation during mechanical ventilation using the assist control volume guarantee mode (MV-AC/VG). This study aimed to evaluate the impact of LRM on alveolar and endothelial injuries, neonatal microcirculation, and its relation to BPD reduction or mortality in preterm infants. METHODS This study was conducted from March 2021 to April 2022 at Cipto Mangunkusumo and Bunda Menteng Hospitals, Jakarta. The participants are <32 weeks infants with severe respiratory distress syndrome requiring MV-AC/VG, divided into LRM and control groups (n = 55 each). The alveolar injury was assessed using plasma surfactant protein-D (SP-D), endothelial injury by flow cytometry for endothelial microparticles (CD-31⁺/CD-42-), and neonatal microcirculation via transcutaneous-artery CO2 gap (TcPCO₂-PaCO₂) and transcutaneous O2 index (TcPO₂/PaO₂) measurements at 1 and 72 hours post-ventilation. RESULTS LRM did not negatively affect preterm infants (24–32 weeks) undergoing invasive mechanical ventilation. At 72 hours, no significant differences were observed in alveolar (SP-D) and endothelial injury (CD-31+/CD-42-), nor in BPD reduction or mortality by 36 weeks. CONCLUSIONS LRM is a beneficial intervention for enhancing respiratory support and microcirculation in preterm infants. Among survivors, LRM reduced the time to achieve the lowest FiO2 (60.0 versus 435.0 hours, p<0.0001), shortened respiratory support duration (25.0 versus 36.83 days, p = 0.044), and improved TcO2 index (1.00 versus 1.00, p = 0.009).
