Abstract

The realization of Riau Province as the center of Malay economy and culture in religious, physically and spiritually prosperous community in Southeast Asia in 2020 is a quotation from the vision and missions of Riau Provincial Government. This vision and missions were sparked by the reasons that there is Malay culture that is growing very rapidly in Riau Province which has become the identity and tradition of the local community. The Malay culture which is still loved, maintained, and continuously developed, is the music of Baoguang which is found at Jaya Village, Central Kuantan District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province. This research was conducted with the aim of discussing the Form, Meaning, and Function in the Context of Art Education in Baoguang music performance. The method used was descriptive qualitative research method, it means that to obtain the data, in-depth observation and interviews were done. The results of the study show as follows; 1) The presentation form of Baoguang music is presented with rhythm, harmony, timbre, tempo, dynamics as well as traditional musical instruments such as gong 1 and gong 2 which are harmoniously intertwined each other; 2) The meaning in performance of Baoguang music always involves symbols that are rich in meanings, the existence of symbols attempt to present the part of Malay culture; 3) The function of Baoguang music performance as an accompaniment for the ceremony is to carry out the traditional ceremonies send the “pancar” children (marriage), batobo and circumcision. Abstract

Indonesia dikenal sebagai negara yang kaya akan keberagaman budaya, termasuk dalam tradisi pernikahan.  Salah satu tradisi yang menarik adalah Tari Milur, sebuah tarian adat masyarakat Suku Komering di Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu Timur (OKU Timur).  Tarian ini memiliki nilai budaya yang tinggi, terutama dalam konteks upacara pernikahan.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali makna, nilai moral, dan   relevansi   Tari   Milur   dalam melestarikan tradisi masyarakat Komering.  Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data primer dari wawancara dengan tokoh adat dan data sekunder dari berbagai literatur.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tari Milur tidak hanya menjadi sarana hiburan tetapi juga media pelestarian tradisi yang mengandung pesan moral dan spiritual.  Syair-syair dalam tarian ini mencerminkan nilai-nilai seperti penghormatan kepada orang tua, pentingnya tanggung jawab dalam pernikahan, dan kebersamaan keluarga.Sebagai salah satu tradisi yang kini mulai jarang dilakukan, Tari Milur perlu dilestarikan agar tetap menjadi bagian dari identitas budaya masyarakat Komering. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan dalam pelestarian budaya lokal dan menginspirasi upaya lebih lanjut untuk menjaga kekayaan tradisi Nusantara.

Abstract

Tari tradisional di Indonesia mencerminkan masyarakat Indonesia yang multikultural, karena seni tari tradisional menyampaikan pesan-pesan filosofis, mencakup aspek spiritual, moral, dan sosial dari masyarakat yang mendukungnya. Artikel ini mengkaji bagaimana pendidikan seni tari memberikan manfaat dalam pendidikan multikultural bagi anak-anak Seni tari adalah salah satu bentuk karya seni yang menyimpan ensiklopedi budaya. SD. Tujuannya adalah untuk menjelaskan pentingnya keberagaman budaya sebagai hal yang bermanfaat bagi kehidupan masyarakat baik di tingkat lokal, nasional, maupun global. Melalui pendidikan seni tari di sekolah dasar, peserta didik dapat berkreasi dan mengapresiasi seni tari nusantara. Dengan demikian, diharapkan peserta didik akan memahami warisan seni tari bangsanya sendiri dan belajar tentang perbedaan budaya antar daerah. Hal ini akan membantu mereka menjadi individu yang dapat menghargai perbedaan dan keberagaman serta menerima kenyataan pluralitas budaya yang ada di Indonesia.

Abstract

Students majoring in Performing Arts Education Concentration in Dance as a prospective art teacher must have competencies that support all fields, including the creation of dance at the level of early childhood. Art competencies for students given theoretical and practical experience can be given at the Education Dance Course. The aim of the course is to improve the competence of students in terms of knowledge and understanding in the field of dance, problem solving skills, critical and democratic thinking, respect for art and cultural diversity and the enjoyment of art, creativity and appreciation in dance, and cooperation in group, and able to create dance for early childhood. In their lectures, students are required to be able to express, be creative and create art. One of the students' creative skills is creating dances for children which will later be applied to children. This is given as a provision for aesthetic experiences for students and children of course, because at the end of the lecture students will make a dance performance involving children in early childhood or kindergarten.

Abstract

The Sebiduk Sehaluan Welcome Dance is a dance that is performed in groups. As a form of honor and respect for the guest of honor who came to Martapura, East OKU Regency, this dance is a form of joy and respect for the arrival of the guest of honor from the local community to the Bumi Sebiduk Sehaluan area. This research aims to evaluate the aesthetics of the dance movements in the Sambut Sebiduk Sehaluan Dance. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, an ethical and emic approach, and a choreographic aesthetic approach, this research methodology is qualitative, using interview, observation, and documentation data collection techniques—the data analysis technique used by Adshead Theory, et al. The research results obtained are the value of beauty in the Sambut Sebiduk Sehaluan Dance where the unique beauty is created from the intertwining patterns of time, place, and use of energy which are the characteristics of the movement. The use of a wide and varied tempo and a high level of energy in the volume of movement creates a lively, seductive, and enthusiastic impression.

Abstract

This study uses descriptive methodology and is classified as qualitative research. The purpose of this study was to determine and characterize the methods used in Class X of SMA Negeri 2 Mesuji Makmur for dance learning. This learning tool can be used by the researcher alone or combined with other equipment such as pencils and mobile phones. This study conducted data collection techniques including observation, literature review, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis involved the following steps: collection, reduction, classification, and conclusion. The findings of the study indicate that dance learning in the independent curriculum of SMA Negeri 2 Mesuji Makmur was less successful because some elements of implementation conflicted with the RPP. The instructor has used teaching strategies that are on the subject matter. However, teachers do not use tools such as Infocus in their learning, such as audio-visual materials that can affect student learning outcomes, when using local dance movements to educate about functions, meanings, and symbols.

Abstract

Toleransi merupakan sikap saling menerima segala bentuk perbedaan dan keberagaman. Salah satu bentuk toleransi beragama adalah dengan menerapkan sikap saling menghargai dan menghormati keyakinan yang dianut oleh orang lain. Artinya, perbedaan yang ada di lingkungan sekitar tidak dijadikan alasan untuk memusuhi orang lain tetapi mampu hidup berdampingan di tengah-tengah perbedaan tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi yang dilakukan oleh guru dalam menanamkan sikap toleransi pada siswa sekolah dasar, khususnya siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis naratif dan mengumpulkan data dari guru dan siswa di SDN Sukosari. Untuk mengumpulkan data, digunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Untuk menganalisis data, digunakan teknik pengumpulan, reduksi, transmisi, dan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa strategi guru dalam menanamkan sikap toleransi pada siswa yaitu: Guru memberikan nasihat atau motivasi kepada siswa. Guru memberikan contoh atau teladan kepada siswa. Kegiatan pembelajaran secara berkelompok. Melalui kegiatan pembiasaan, dan dengan menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran yang menekankan pada kerja sama antar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi metode tersebut efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar pada pembelajaran seni rupa siswa. Pentingnya pendidikan seni rupa untuk kreativitas dan pemikiran kritis, serta fleksibilitas Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar, melatarbelakangi studi ini. Penelitian ini mengisi kesenjangan dengan menganalisis adaptasi pembelajaran seni rupa, mengingat karakteristik perkembangan kognitif dan motorik unik pada usia tersebut. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus, penelitian dilakukan di SDN Cahaya Negeri pada April-Mei 2025. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap guru dan siswa kelas 3, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan siswa memiliki kesiapan dan antusiasme tinggi dalam pembelajaran seni rupa. Proses pembelajaran menerapkan fleksibilitas dan eksplorasi, dengan guru berperan sebagai fasilitator yang mendorong kebebasan berekspresi. Integrasi refleksi dan umpan balik deskriptif juga mulai dilakukan. Metode pembelajaran dominan adalah proyek/eksplorasi, yang mendukung kemandirian dan kreativitas siswa. Elemen Profil Pelajar Pancasila, seperti kreatif, mandiri, dan gotong royong, sangat menonjol. Asesmen dilakukan secara formatif, berfokus pada proses dan produk karya. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menekankan keberhasilan pendekatan yang fleksibel dan berpusat pada siswa, serta pentingnya refleksi dan umpan balik konsisten untuk mengoptimalkan kreativitas dan karakteristik Profil Pelajar Pancasila siswa.
