Abstract

Telah diselenggarakan kegiatan pelatihan IoT untuk guru dan siswa sekolah tingkat menengah (MA, SMK, dan SMA) di Kabupaten Purwakarta, Jawa Barat pada 14 Agustus 2019. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan IoT kepada siswa/i, sehingga mereka memiliki bekal pengetahuan serta skill pada era industri 4.0 seperti dewasa ini. Kegiatan diselenggarakan oleh Program Studi Sistem Telekomunikasi Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia kampus daerah di Purwakarta, Jawa Barat. Sistem IoT yang diusung adalah mesin kehadiran berbasis radio frequency identification (RFID) yang terhubung ke Internet. Peserta juga berasal dari Guru, dengan harapan alat hasil pelatihan dapat lebih cepat untuk diimplementasikan di Sekolah asal karena sejauh ini sistem kehadiran masih manual (sebagian sekolah tertentu). Sebanyak 24 peserta hadir dalam kegiatan ini, yakni 12 sekolah dengan komposisi satu guru satu siswa/i. Metode pelaksanaan pelatihan adalah pemaparan teori, praktik (perakitan mesin kehadiran), dan evaluasi dengan cara memberikan angket pada setiap peserta. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa peserta puas akan pelaksanaan kegiatan ini. Tujuan lain dari PkM ini adalah dalam rangka memperkenalkan Prodi baru (Sistem Telekomunikasi) yang tahun 2019 ini baru saja dibuka. Dengan demikian, dalam jangka panjang dapat terjalin suatu link antara sekolah menengah tingkat atas di Purwakarta dengan Prodi Sistel melalui program pelatihan lainnya.

Abstract

Reading comprehension is a foundational skill in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learning, yet many students, particularly at the primary level, continue to face persistent challenges in developing it effectively. This study investigates the effectiveness of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) cooperative learning technique in enhancing reading comprehension among primary-level EFL learners. Using a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design, the research involved four instructional sessions over four weeks, during which the TSTS technique was implemented. Twenty-eight students participated in the study and completed both pretest and post-test assessments designed to evaluate various aspects of reading comprehension, including identifying main ideas, supporting details, inference skills, and vocabulary interpretation. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and a paired samples t-test to determine the significance of the observed learning gains. Results revealed a statistically significant improvement in students’ reading comprehension scores after the intervention, indicating that the TSTS technique positively impacted their reading performance. The study highlights the potential of cooperative learning to promote deeper engagement, peer collaboration, and improved comprehension outcomes in EFL contexts. Findings contribute to the growing body of literature supporting learner-centred instruction and underscore the importance of adopting interactive, evidence-based strategies in primary English language education.

Abstract

This study examines how science literacy and healthy living behaviors jointly shape family health within a household ecology framework. Using a non‐experimental, cross-sectional design, we surveyed 40 mothers from an urban area in western Indonesia. Validated questionnaires (CVI = 0.86; Cronbach’s α ≥ 0.70) measured science literacy, healthy living, and family health. Data were analyzed with Pearson’s correlations and multiple linear regression after meeting parametric assumptions (Shapiro–Wilk p > 0.05; VIF = 1.54; Durbin–Watson = 1.85; no heteroscedasticity). Correlations were positive and significant: science literacy with family health (r = 0.65, p < 0.01), healthy living with family health (r = 0.70, p < 0.01), and science literacy with healthy living (r = 0.58, p < 0.01). The regression model was significant, F(2,37) = 18.45, p < 0.001, explaining 50% of the variance in family health (R² = 0.50). Both predictors contributed uniquely (β_science literacy = 0.35, p = 0.007; β_healthy living = 0.45, p = 0.001), with healthy living showing the stronger effect. Findings underscore that strengthening science literacy is necessary but insufficient unless translated into day-to-day healthy practices. We recommend community-based programs that couple non-formal science education with practice-oriented training (nutrition, sanitation, household hygiene). Future studies should employ larger, longitudinal samples and incorporate socio-economic and environmental covariates.

Abstract

Desa/Kelurahan adalah unit pemerintahan daerah terkecil yang merupakan bagian integral dari akuntansi pemerintah daerah Kabupaten atau Kota dalam NKRI, maka pertanggungjawaban keuangan Desa/Kelurahan sebaiknya diatur secara nasional. Akuntabilitas menggambarkan salah satu asas dalam penyelenggaraan Desa. Sarana pertanggunggungjawaban perlu diatur dengan standar nasional agar akuntabilitas harus diterima umum. Pengelolaan keuangan sebagai salah satu aspek bernilai bagi kemajuan institusi. Sepanjang institusi masih memakai uang selaku alat transaksi, akuntansi sangat diperlukan oleh institusi. Beberapa manfaat dari akuntansi antara lain: dapat memahami sumber dan tujuan dana, dapat menganggarkan dengan benar, dapat menghitung pajak, dan dapat mengetahui arus kas dalam jangka waktu tertentu. Penggunaan akuntansi dapat mendukung tercapainya good corporate governance (GCG) khususnya dalam hal pengelolaan keuangan. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang ada para pegawai di kelurahan Tapos perlu mendapatkan pelatihan mengenai pengelolaan keuangan dan menggunakan akuntansi untuk menyusun laporan keuangan. Pelatihan yang akan didapatkan oleh pegawai kelurahan Tapos berupa pelatihan akuntansi sederhana yang dapat segera diaplikasikan dalam operasionalnya.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis Pengaruh Profitabilitas, Ukuran Perusahaan, Komite Audit dan Opini Audit Terhadap Audit Delay. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu asosiatif kuantitatif, dengan metode pengumpulan data dokumentasi. Model analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan cara purposive sampling, dimana pemilihan sampel berdasarkan kriteria yang diinginkan. Adapun sampel tersebut berjumlah 55 data. Hasil uji koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa 27% faktor-faktor audit delay dapat dipengaruhi oleh profitabilitas, ukuran perusahaan, komite audit dan opini audit sedangkan sisanya 73% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain. Sedangkan hasil uji F menunjukkan bahwa variabel profitabilitas, ukuran perusahaan, komite audit dan opini audit berpengaruh signifikan secara simultan terhadap variabel audit delay dengan hasil analisis yaitu nilai Fhitung (5,993) > Ftabel (2,560). Hasil uji T menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas dan ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh positif terhadap audit delay dengan nilai signifikansi masing-masing 0,004 dan 0,006. Sedangkan komite audit dan opini audit tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap audit delay dengan nilai signifikansi masing-masing 0,277 dan 0,777.

Abstract

Untung Jawa Island in the Thousand Islands has excellent potential for developing family-based marine tourism, including beaches, mangrove ecotourism, and fishing activities that are attractive to both local and international tourists. However, the low digital literacy of the community is a significant obstacle to optimizing tourism promotion and boosting the local economy. This condition leads to the community's dependence on external agents and limits the competitiveness of Untung Jawa Island as a tourist destination compared to other tourist islands in the Thousand Islands. Therefore, this Community Service activity aims to enhance the digital literacy capacity of tourism managers, fishermen, and local artisans through training on creating promotional content, utilizing social media, and managing sustainable family tourism packages. The implementation method uses a participatory approach, including coordination, training, mentoring, and evaluation stages. The activity intervention also includes the installation of eight fish aggregating devices (FADs) as family-friendly fishing spots and a means of restoring fish habitats degraded due to coral reef damage. The results of the activity show an improvement in participants' skills in creating digital content (photos, videos, and promotional narratives), the formation of a local creative group called Digital Ranger, and increased community involvement in online tourism promotion. In conclusion, the synergy between physical innovation through the development of marine tourism facilities and the strengthening of digital literacy can empower communities in managing tourism destinations. The novelty of this activity lies in the integration between the installation of artificial reefs as an ecotourism innovation and community-based digital literacy training, making Untung Jawa Island a model for developing competitive and sustainable coastal digital tourism villages.
