Abstract

Gesture recognition allows users of computer science technology to connect with their digital devices more conveniently. Technology for gesture recognition can be helpful in a variety of contexts, such as automated household appliances, automobiles, and interpretation of hand gestures. Gesture recognition is part of gesture recognition which determines what message a certain hand movement wants to convey. In developing this automatic hand movement we use segmentation and object detection where this method involves using algorithms to detect and identify objects or areas related to hand movements. , such as human skin, fingers, and others. Detection of human hand movements using computer vision is a digital image processing technique that aims to recognize human hand movements from image or video data. This technique can be applied in various applications such as human-computer interaction, hand gesture recognition, or video games. Making Automatic Player Hand Movements Using Computer Vision has the potential to improve the user experience when playing games or using interactive applications that require hand movements, according to the research and development that has been done. Games could be controlled more precisely and with less need for additional hardware such as joysticks or controllers if computer vision technology was able to accurately distinguish hand movements.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) faces complex challenges in maintaining relevance and quality amidst social change, technology, and demands for public accountability. Two main concepts in educational quality management—continuous improvement and quality assurance—are often discussed separately, despite their fundamentally synergistic relationship. This study aims to conceptually examine the integration of continuous improvement and quality assurance in the context of PAI, addressing how both frameworks can be operationalized simultaneously to improve the quality of PAI delivery. Using a systematic literature review method through Google Scholar and Publish or Perish (PoP) for the 2019–2026 period, 25 relevant articles were analyzed from 80 initial findings. The results show that quality assurance functions as a holding system that establishes standards, while continuous improvement acts as a driving force encouraging innovation and adaptation. However, in PAI practice, tension exists between standard compliance (QA) and the need for dynamic change (CI). This article offers an integrative framework called the Adaptive Quality Cycle (AQC), combining the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle with Islamic principles such as muhasabah (self-evaluation), tahsin (continuous improvement), and itqan (professionalism). This integration is key for PAI institutions to not only meet minimum standards but also continuously develop dynamically without losing their Islamic identity.

Abstract

Methods and media are two essential elements in the learning process. The phenomenon found in qawā‘id learning at MTsN 1 Pringsewu shows that interactive learning media are still rarely used by teachers; even teachers are only fixated on textbooks and use videos and powerpoints that are not interactive. This causes students to not be enthusiastic in participating in learning. This research specifically aims to develop interactive qawā‘id learning media to increase learning enthusiasm. This research is development research using the Borg and Gall model with ten steps of development, and only this research is limited to the seventh step only. The results of the media expert's assessment of the H5P application learning media obtained a percentage value of 88% and was in the range of 70%-89%, which means that the media developed was categorized as feasible/good. Meanwhile, based on the results of field trials by giving questionnaires to 32 students of MTs Negeri 1 Pringsewu, student responses to the product developed were obtained with a score of 93.75%. This product in the form of H5P application learning media is very feasible to help students learn qawā‘id. However, this research is limited to the jumlah ismiyyah  and the jumlah fi‘liyyah. Based on the results of observations in learning and questionnaire responses to the developed media, it appears that students are very enthusiastic about participating in learning. This is because the learning media produced is exciting and interactive so that students are excited to learn
