Abstract

Several sedimentation processes occur in the downstream area between river mouths and the sea. One of the effects of this sedimentation process is the occurrence of siltation around the coast. Not infrequently, this disrupts sea passages when the ship is about to head to the pier or go to sea. Kuala Beach is one of the locations in Pangkalpinang where the sedimentation process continues to occur enough to disrupt the smooth flow of sea traffic. This study aims to provide an overview and analysis of results related to sediment characteristics, spatial analysis of deposits, and predictions of deposition rates around Kuala Beach, Pangkalpinang City. This research was conducted using the following methods: 1) Method of investigating sediment characteristics by collecting data through field testing in the form of hand drills and laboratory testing, 2) Spatial analysis method by mapping the area of sedimentation based on the results of sediment characteristic tests using Agisoft Metashape and QGIS. The results of this study note that sediment deposits are dominated by sediments with sandy grain characteristics (SP symbol based on the Unified Soil Classification System) and a fine grain content (passing sieve number 200) of around 1-3%. The pattern of distribution of sediment deposits is known to have relatively flat contours and relatively uniform characteristics down to a depth of 1.5 m. The coefficient of grain uniformity (Cu) is in the range of 2.43-8.2 with the tendency of uniformity level getting higher to the southeast. The coefficient of grain gradation (Cc) is in the range of 0.44-1.64 with the tendency of the gradation level getting better to the southeast.

Abstract

Gesture recognition allows users of computer science technology to connect with their digital devices more conveniently. Technology for gesture recognition can be helpful in a variety of contexts, such as automated household appliances, automobiles, and interpretation of hand gestures. Gesture recognition is part of gesture recognition which determines what message a certain hand movement wants to convey. In developing this automatic hand movement we use segmentation and object detection where this method involves using algorithms to detect and identify objects or areas related to hand movements. , such as human skin, fingers, and others. Detection of human hand movements using computer vision is a digital image processing technique that aims to recognize human hand movements from image or video data. This technique can be applied in various applications such as human-computer interaction, hand gesture recognition, or video games. Making Automatic Player Hand Movements Using Computer Vision has the potential to improve the user experience when playing games or using interactive applications that require hand movements, according to the research and development that has been done. Games could be controlled more precisely and with less need for additional hardware such as joysticks or controllers if computer vision technology was able to accurately distinguish hand movements.

Abstract

Sarana komunikasi utama bagi orang-orang penyandang disabilitas (tunarungu) adalah bahasa isyarat. Namun, tidak semua orang mengerti atau dapat menggunakan bahasa isyarat, dan tidak semua lingkungan menyediakan aksesibilitas bagi orang dengan disabilitas pendengaran. Sistem pengembangan bahasa isyarat untuk berkomunikasi dengan penyandang disabilitas dikembangkan karena pentingnya aksesibilitas komunikasi bagi orang dengan disabilitas pendengaran atau bahasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model sistem bahasa isyarat agar memudahkan berkomunikasi dengan penyadang disabilitas (tunarungu) dengan menggunakan metode machine learning. Dengan menggunakan teknologi pengenalan citra atau pengenalan pola, sistem dapat mengidentifikasi gerakan tangan dan menerjemahkannya menjadi teks atau suara yang dapat dimengerti oleh individu yang tidak dapat berkomunikasi menggunakan bahasa isyarat.

Abstract

Pengembangkan aplikasi absensi pengenalan wajah bagi mahasiswa magang di PLN Icon Plus Bangka Belitung dengan menggunakan teknologi computer vision dan algoritma deep learning diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi waktu proses absensi dengan mengurangi ketergantungan pada metode absensi manual yang memakan waktu dan rawan kesalahan. Pengembangan aplikasi ini menggunakan teknik computer vision untuk mendeteksi dan mengenali wajah siswa, sedangkan algoritma deep learning digunakan untuk meningkatkan akurasi dan kecepatan pengenalan wajah. Algoritma deep learning, khususnya Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), diterapkan untuk melatih model pengenalan wajah dengan dataset gambar wajah mahasiswa. Sistem ini dilengkapi dengan fitur manajemen data yang memungkinkan administrator untuk memantau dan mengelola data absensi secara real-time. Tujuan penggunaan sistem absensi pengenalan wajah adalah untuk mempercepat registrasi kehadiran serta meningkatkan keakuratan dan keamanan informasi kehadiran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan model prototype untuk mengembangkan dan menguji aplikasi. Reaksi sistem selama kinerja pengenalan wajah dan registrasi kehadiran diukur untuk mengevaluasi seberapa besar aplikasi dapat meningkatkan efisiensi waktu kehadiran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan dikembangkannya aplikasi pengenalan wajah, proses absensi dapat dipercepat secara signifikan dan akurasi pencatatan kehadiran siswa pada saat praktik dapat ditingkatkan. Pengujian dilakukan pada berbagai kondisi pencahayaan dan sudut pandang untuk memastikan pengaplikasian optimal. Oleh karena itu, diharapkan aplikasi ini dapat menjadi solusi yang efektif dan efisien dalam menangani mahasiswa magang PLN Icon Plus Bangka Belitung.

Abstract

Desa Namang di Kabupaten Bangka Tengah memiliki potensi besar dalam sektor UMKM, namun menghadapi tantangan signifikan dalam hal daya saing dan branding produk di era digital. Transformasi digital dan pemanfaatan kecerdasan buatan (AI) menjadi sangat penting di tengah pesatnya perkembangan teknologi. Kendala utama yang dihadapi oleh UMKM adalah kurangnya pemahaman dan akses terhadap teknologi baru, termasuk teknologi AI. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan UMKM di Desa Namang melalui pemanfaatan teknologi AI dalam digitalisasi UMKM, yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan daya saing, keberlanjutan usaha, serta memperkuat branding produk lokal. Langkah-langkah konkret yang diambil mencakup sosialisasi dan pengenalan aplikasi AI yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan UMKM. Implikasi dari kegiatan ini menegaskan bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi AI tidak hanya membantu meningkatkan efisiensi operasional UMKM, tetapi juga memperkuat citra dan daya tarik produk mereka, menciptakan keberlanjutan usaha yang lebih kuat di tengah perubahan pasar digital. Namang Village in Central Bangka Regency has great potential in the MSME sector, but faces significant challenges in terms of product competitiveness and branding in the digital era. Digital transformation and the utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) have become very important in the midst of rapid technological development. The main obstacle faced by MSMEs is the lack of understanding and access to new technologies, including AI technology. This socialization activity aims to empower MSMEs in Namang Village through the use of AI technology in the digitalization of MSMEs, which is expected to increase competitiveness, business sustainability, and strengthen local product branding. The concrete steps taken include socialization and introduction of AI applications that suit the needs of MSMEs. The implications of this activity confirm that the utilization of AI technology not only helps improve the operational efficiency of MSMEs, but also strengthens the image and attractiveness of their products, creating stronger business sustainability amidst the changing digital market.

Abstract

Tourism has long been recognized as an economic sector that can have a significant positive impact on economic and social development at the global level. The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) notes that the global tourism sector has experienced a significant increase from year to year, contributing to national income and job creation. Tourism is an important sector that supports economic and social development, both globally, nationally and locally. In Indonesia, especially the Bangka Belitung Islands, this sector has great potential to support the creative economy and sustainable development. To maximize this potential, innovation is needed through Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, especially in developing tourist destination recommendation systems. This research aims to develop an AI-based tourism system in Bangka Belitung by utilizing recommendation system technology and deep learning. This system is designed to provide a more personalized and relevant tourism experience for users by integrating tourism data and tourist habits. The research method used involves developing an AI model using a machine learning approach, which combines content-based and collaborative recommendations. It is hoped that the results of this research can produce a Flutter-based Android application that provides accurate tourist destination recommendations, improves service quality, and supports sustainable creative economic growth in Bangka Belitung. This research contributes to the application of AI technology in the tourism sector which can improve tourist experiences and support sustainable development.

Abstract

Background: The Central Bangka Regency Government strongly supports sports activities for regional achievements. A total of 18 athletes and 7 coaches from Central Bangka Regency participated in the 2021 XX Papua PON. The role of practitioners in PON regional training is quite a concern for the Central Bangka Regency Government. It is hoped that the application of sports science in these activities can also be applied to the Central Bangka Regency Porprov Pelatda. However, KONI Central Bangka itself has limitations both in terms of  equipment and the quantity and quality of its human resources. Method: PKM assistance and application of sports performance measurement technology for coaches and athletes in leading sports in Central Bangka Regency is carried out through synergy between the Service Team (Muhammadiyah Bangka Belitung University) and Partners (KONI Central Bangka Regency). The program carried out was athlete measurements with Koni Central Bangka regional trainers totaling 168 athletes and a workshop on assistance in the use of sports performance technology for district trainers. Central Bangka. Results: Coach enthusiasm in carrying out tests and measurements of athletes using sports performance technology and following mentoring. Apart from coaches who utilize sports performance technology in coaching PORPROV VI Bangka Belitung regional athletes, Central Bangka Regency achieved overall champion achievement by winning 71 gold, 51 silver and 47 bronze medals. Conclusion: Has an impact in increasing trainers' knowledge in designing, implementing and broadcasting training programs by utilizing sports performance technology.
