Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the quality of Math Sets Game learning media that have been developed from the perspective of validity, practicality, and effectiveness in mathematics subjects. This research is a type of Research and Development research with the model used is ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Application, and Evaluation). Students of class X SMK Negeri 6 Makassar are the subject of trials in this study. The instruments used are validation sheets, observation sheets, response questionnaires, and learning results tests. The results showed the resulting learning media was valid, practical, and effective, with the average validity of Math Sets Game learning media and research instruments being in the highly valid category with a score of 4.3. Practically, with an average percentage of learners' response questionnaires 86.8% and teacher response questionnaires are 84%. Effectively, the average percentage of learners' learning completion is 89%.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran JiMat menggunakan articulate storyline kelas VIII disalah satu smp di Jeneponto yang memenuhi kriteria valid dan praktis. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Research and Development (R&D) model pengembangan ADDIE. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi dan angket respon guru. Hasil perolehan data menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran JiMat menggunakan articulate storyline valid dan praktis serta memenuhi kriteria minimum yang ditetapkan. Sehingga media JiMat dapat digunakan pada pembelajaran selanjutnya.

Abstract

Religiusitas merupakan aspek penting yang harus diperhatikan dalam proses belajar mengajar. Aspek ini telah dimuat dalam kurikulum 2013 begitupun dengan peningkatan hasil belajar. Proses belajar mengajar harus direncanakan dengan membuat bahan ajar yang dapat meningkatkan religiusitas dan hasil belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berupa RPP dan modul matematika terintegrasi islam untuk meningkatkan religiusitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Sungguminasa yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket, observasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangan valid, praktis dan efektif. Guru dan siswa memberikan respon positif ketika menggunakan bahan ajar. Tes hasil belajar dan religiusitas siswa berada pada kategori tinggi. Ketuntasan belajar siswa lebih dari 60% atau berada pada kategori baik. Bahan ajar terintegrasi islam ini dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan sikap religious dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

This experimental research with a factorial design aims to describe the ability to solve mathematical problems of students if they applied the inquiry learning model and direct learning model, as well as to determine the interaction of learning styles with inquiry learning models on the ability to solve math problems of class X students of SMAN 4 Luwu Utara. Sampling used technique purposive sampling and obtained a sample of 68 students from a population of 238 students of class X SMAN 4 Luwu Utara. The research instrument is in the form of a learning style questionnaire and test questions on the ability to solve math problems. The data analysis used descriptive statistics and inferential statistics in the form of a 2-way Anova test. The result of the calculations reveal that there are difference in the ability to solve math problems by learning to follow the inquiry learning model and not, there is no significant difference in the ability to solve math problems between students with the inquiry model learning and the direct model in terms of their learning styles but there is an interaction between the inquiry learning model and the ability to solve math problems when viewed from the student’s learning style.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kemampuan penalaran, kemampuan pemecahan masalah, serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan penalaran dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis mahasiswa ditinjau dari asal sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dari penelitian ini ialah mahasiswa angkatan 2018 semester II dari Jurusan Pendidikan Matematika UIN Alauddin Makassar. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitiannya menunjukkan baik kemampuan penalaran matematis maupun kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis mahasiswa berada pada kategori sedang, sementara faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kedua kemampuan tersebut diantaranya adalah rasa malas, pendekatan belajar, dan ketidaktertarikan pada matematika. Abstract

The research was conducted to determine the effect of contextual teaching and learning in improving students' mathematical connection ability through various previous research results. The method used is a meta-analysis with a quantitative approach. The research samples are the research articles in the form of theses, dissertations, and national journals and international journals that met predetermined criteria. The process of collecting data is conducted by following the prism flow. The data analysis technique is determining the effect size of each study using the standardized mean difference formula. Further statistics of the effect size used is the random effect model. The results of the analysis of the random-effect model show that from the various research results that have been analyzed, it is able to increase students' mathematical connection ability by 85% with very big categories. This indicates that the contextual teaching and learning model provides a huge contribution to the improvement of students' mathematical connection ability.

Abstract

Mathematics is one of the most important subjects, but it often becomes a scourge for most students. Lack of student motivation is an obstacle and also affects the learning outcomes in Mathematics. The SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual) approach integrated with the verses of Al-Qur’an into mathematical material is an alternative method of learning. This article aims at describing students' motivation and learning outcomes in mathematics through that SAVI approach.  The approach used is a quasi-experiment with non-equivalent control group design. The study was conducted at MTs Madani Alauddin Gowa. The sample consisted of class VIII A, 32 people as the control class and class VIII B, 32 people as the experiment class. Data were analyzed with descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that the average students’ motivation increased 10% in the experimental class and in the control class increased by 3%; and the average student learning outcomes increased by 23% in the experimental class and in the control class increased by 7%. Thus, there are differences in learning motivation and student learning outcomes between classes that apply and those that do not apply the SAVI approach by integrating Qur'anic verses. In short, it effectively increases students' motivation and learning outcomes in mathematics so that it can become alternative learning methods.
