Abstract

Defining the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) is the first stage of implementing learning outcome assessment as part of curriculum development. Students are said to succeed in a subject if they achieve the minimum completeness criteria specified in the syllabus. This research aims to study the procedures and the method used to defining the minimum completeness criteria for Arabic lessons at Al-Fattah Elementary School, Batu, Malang. This study used the descriptive-qualitative method. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that defining the minimum completeness criteria for Arabic lessons in Al-Fattah Elementary School follows two procedures. First, the Subject Teachers’ Consultation Council (MGMP) defines the minimum completeness criteria at the beginning of the school year, and for each basic competency (KD), its standard is 67, and Arabic language lesson have a standard of 71. Secondly, the minimum completeness criteria that have been defined are published for all Arabic teachers. The process of defining minimum completeness criteria in this school uses the value range method to assign the level of complexity, level of students’ absorption capacity, and efficiency level of auxiliary resources, and then calculates it using the appropriate formula to get the exact score.

Abstract

Syingir or song has been known since the era before the arrival of Islam in Indonesia. After Islam came, Syingir was used as a medium for preaching which was echoed in mosques and majlis ta'lim. However, along with the development of the times, Syingir is considered old-fashioned and is rarely sung, especially in urban communities. But some rural communities still chant it. The purpose of this study was to find out the forms of Syingir sung by Rejosari villagers, and the social values contained in the activities of Syingiran Rejosari villagers, Syingir as a strengthening of the spirituality of rural communities. This research is qualitative-based field research. The main object of this research is the Syingiran activities of the Rejosari village community and the chants that are sung. The results of this study are (1) the form of the revitalization of Syingir in Rejosari village is by making efforts to replace, preserve, inherit, and manage Syingiran activities, (2) the social values contained in Syingiran activities are the value of togetherness, the value of patience, the value of leadership, and Amar makruf nahi munkar, (3) as a strengthening of the spirituality of the rural community of the Syingir-Syingir teaches people to always remember God and read the Qur'an, pray for their predecessor, keep holding prayers under any circumstances, always remember death, and always do kindness.

Abstract

Society 5.0 gives a new nuance to learning Arabic. Optimizing the use of cyber as a learning medium adds to the attractiveness of santri in learning Arabic. The purpose of this study is to determine the concepts and implications of the Arabic language learning curriculum based on the adaptation of students in the era of society 5.0. This research is library research that collects secondary data from various kinds of literature such as books, journal articles, and information from relevant official websites. The data that has been collected will be clasificated, followed by an in-depth discussion. The result of this research is that the Arabic language learning curriculum based on the adoption of santri in the era of society 5.0 combines the pesantren curriculum and other appropriate modern curriculum. It utilizes the latest technology as a media for Arabic learning.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengukur minat belajar siswa terhadap bahasa Arab yaitu rasa suka siswa terhadap pelajaran bahasa Arab, ketertarikan siswa terhadap pelajaran bahasa Arab, keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab, dan perhatian siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Data primer diperoleh dengan menyebarkan angket kepada siswa. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik ramdom sampling yang melibatkan 60 siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persentase dari rasa suka siswa terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Arab ialah 68%. Keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab mencapai persentase 75%. Ketertarikan siswa terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Arab memperoleh persentase 64%. Perhatian siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab mencapai persentase 72%. Adapun rata-rata minat belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab memperoleh persentase 70% dengan kategori “sedang”. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, maka untuk mencapai hasil belajar yang lebih efektif, guru hendaknya berupaya untuk menjaga dan meningkatkan minat belajar siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk-bentuk divergensi modalitas dari Charles J. Fillmore dan maknanya dalam novel terjemahan "Sayap-Sayap Patah" karya Kahlil Gibran agar terhindar dari kesalahpahaman dalam memaknai bahasanya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data primernya adalah terjemahan novel "Sayap-Sayap Patah", sedangkan sumber data sekundernya adalah referensi yang mendukung sumber data primer, yaitu buku-buku semantik khususnya tentang teori tata bahasa kasus Charles J. Fillmore. Dalam pengumpulan data, peneliti menggunakan teknik baca-catat. Dari penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwasanya dalam terjemah novel tersebut terdapat empat bentuk modalitas yaitu (1) intensional, yang memiliki makna keinginan, harapan, ajakan, pembiaran, dan permintaan; (2) epistemik, yang terdiri dari makna kemungkinan, keteramalan, keharusan dan kepastian; (3) deontik, yang bermakna perintah; dan (4) dinamik, yang bermakna kemampuan. Berdasarkan hasil terebut dapat diketahui bahwa novel terjemah "Sayap-Sayap Patah" menggunakan modalitas yang kompleks, akan tetapi lebih banyak menggunakan modalitas intensional. Tokoh yang tercermin dalam karya sastra ini cenderung tidak memiliki sifat otoriter, melainkan demokratis.This study analyses Fillmore's modality variances and their meaning in the Indonesian translation of the novel "Broken Wings" by Kahlil Gibran. This is a descriptive qualitative research. The translated novel, "Sayap-Sayap Patah" is the primary data while the secondary data are taken from the literature on the semantic theory of Charles J. Fillmore. The researchers used the close reading technique to collect the data. From this research, it can be inferred that in the Indonesian translation of the novel, there are four forms of modalities namely (1) intentional modality, which conveys desire, hope, invitation, neglect, and request; (2) epistemic modality, which deals with the ideas of possibility, practicality, necessity, and certainty; (3) deontic modality, meaning commands; and (4) dynamic modality, which concerns the idea of abilities. These results indicate that the Indonesian translation of the novel "Broken Wings" uses complex modalities with the majority being intentional modalities. The main character reflected in this novel tends not to have an authoritarian nature but a democratic one.
