Abstract

Quality management is an effective system in operation management to develops, maintains, and improves quality from groups of companies that allow marketing, production, and service at the most economycal level as well as ensuring customer satisfication. Many companies are practicing quality management to improve their bussiness performance. One of performance measurement is through measurement of efficiency. One of the tools can be used to assess efficiency of companies performance is Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). The aim of this paper is using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) model to assess efficiency of quality management. In this paper will be explained CCR, and BCC models to assess efficiency of quality management. From the example of problem given, it’s proven that DEA is a reliable method for modeling operation process with multiple input and multiple output from a set of Decission Making Units (DMU), and then measure its efficiency both financially and nonfinancially.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of developing digital-based teaching materials in Animaker-assisted animated videos aimed at grade V elementary school students on Comparison and Scale subject matter. This was done because problems often arise regarding the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process. Teachers have also been required to be active and creative in developing learning systems in the classroom that coexist with technological advances. In this study, the learning system developed is on teaching materials. This researcher uses the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This research is subjected to elementary school students in Langkat Regency. Data collection is done using assessments by material experts, media experts, homeroom teachers, and students. Overall based on media experts reached 81.25%, material experts reached 81.25%, homeroom teachers reached an average of 82%, and the average student response of 87% was classified as high so that it could be stated that Animaker-based animation videos on Comparison and Scale materials were feasible to be used as teaching material facilities in the classroom.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of students' self-efficacy on the mathematical creative thinking abilities of students at Harvard High School. The subjects in this study were students of class X-IPA 1 which consisted of 20 students. This research is a true experiment research, with a one group pretest-posttest research design. Data collection was carried out through an instrument test for mathematical creative thinking ability and a non-test instrument test in the form of a self-efficacy questionnaire. Data analysis techniques were carried out through the Independent Sample t test using the SPSS application. The results of the study show that: There is an effect of self-efficacy on the ability to think creatively at Harvard High School

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of community service aims to determine the effect of using the problem solving model on student achievement in sub-theme 1 class III at SD Negeri 122332 Pematangsiantar. This research uses quantitative research, quantitative research is a process of finding knowledge that uses data in the form of numbers as a tool to analyze information about what you want to know. The experimental unit in this study consisted of 1 class, namely students in class 3C, totaling 25 students at SD Negeri 122332 Pematang Siantar, Pematang Siantar T.A 2022/2023. The test questions will be carried out in class 3C in the same school with a total of 25 students. The results of the data analysis above show that the hypothesis in this study is accepted. There is the influence of the problem solving model on student achievement in theme 5 sub-theme 1 weather conditions at SD Negeri 122332 Pematangsiantar. Based on the results of data analysis after calculating the t test with a significant level of 0.000

Abstract

This study aims to find out self-regulated learning in mathematics learning. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The SRL scale test of students in mathematics was carried out at a junior high school in the city of Bandar Lampung with a sample of 41 students. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The SRL scale test of students in mathematics was carried out at a junior high school in the city of Bandar Lampung with a sample of 41 students. The questionnaire used to measure SRL has indicators, namely the strategies used by students to learn, motivational strategies for learning, and SRL components. Data analysis was carried out descriptively on the results of student responses on the questionnaire scale used. The results of data analysis showed that the instrument that measured SRL as an overall attitude of students took the initiative in learning mathematics, selected, and applied the right strategy, evaluated the learning process and outcomes, and reflected in learning mathematics

Abstract

This article explores the influence of cognitive style on abstraction ability and mathematical problem-solving skills in Problem-Based Learning (PBL). Cognitive style, which reflects how individuals process and organize information, is hypothesized to play a significant role in determining students' success in understanding abstract concepts and solving mathematical problems. This study employs a quantitative method involving secondary-level students as participants. The research instruments include cognitive style tests, abstraction ability tests, and mathematical problem-solving tests. The results indicate that students with an analytical cognitive style tend to have higher abstraction abilities and better performance in mathematical problem-solving compared to those with a holistic cognitive style. These findings suggest that cognitive style influences the effectiveness of problem-based learning, particularly in subjects requiring logical and abstract thinking, such as mathematics. The implications of this research highlight the importance of educators recognizing and accommodating the diversity of students' cognitive styles when designing learning strategies. Furthermore, the study suggests the need to develop more flexible and inclusive learning approaches to maximize each student's learning potential. This article contributes to understanding how individual factors, such as cognitive style, can influence learning outcomes, particularly in the context of PBL.
