Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of land area, number of fry, amount of feed, amount of fertilizer, amount of lime, and amount of mill technology on production of vaname shrimp in Samaturu and Latambaga districts, Kolaka Regency from June to July 2020. The population in this study, all cultivators who are active in aquaculture activities totaling 17 people. The sample in this study was taken using the census method. Data collection in this study used interviews, observation, and documentation. Analysis of the data used is multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 16.0. The results of the f-test analysis showed that all independent variables (land area, number of fry, amount of feed, amount of lime, amount of fertilizer, and amount of mill technology) used in this study simultaneously gave a significant effect on the dependent variable (production). Meanwhile, the test analysis shows that the production variable is significantly and not significantly affected. Variable area of land and the number of fry have a significant effect on the production of vaname shrimp, while the amount of feed, the amount of lime, the amount of fertilizer, and the amount of mill technology have no significant effect on the production of white shrimp.

Abstract

Low parental support and learning attitudes can hinder students' learning processes. This study was conducted to determine the effect of parental social support and self-regulation on the learning independence of fifth-grade students at Fostered Area (Dabin) Elementary School 1, Prambanan District. This study uses a quantitative research type of ex post facto design without providing special treatment to students based on the research instruments created. The population in this study amounted to 122 students, with a research sample of 92 students selected randomly. The research instruments used were in the form of a questionnaire on parental social support, a questionnaire on self-regulation, and a questionnaire on learning independence, which have been proven valid by expert judgment, a validity test, and a reliability test. The tabulated data were subjected to assumption tests in the form of a one-sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test, linearity test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test with the help of SPSS 29. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using multiple regression techniques with the help of SPSS version 29 to test the research hypothesis. The results of the study prove that: 1) Parental social support and self-regulation together influence students' learning independence. 2) Parental social support partially influences students' learning independence. 3) Self-regulation partially influences students' learning independence in class V of Fostered Area (Dabin) Elementary School, Prambanan District. So, it can be concluded that parental social support and self-regulation have implications for learning independence. It is hoped that this study can contribute to increasing the role of parents in providing social support to their children. It is recommended that future studies examine interventions or programs designed to enhance self-regulation and learning independence while taking into account the role of social support, particularly from parents.

Abstract

Poverty remains a major challenge in Sragen Regency, with a higher rate than the national average. Productive zakat offers a solution by serving not only as social aid but also as a tool for economic empowerment. When utilized effectively, it can enhance skills, create business opportunities, and promote financial independence among mustahik. This study analyzes the impact of productive zakat utilization, workforce training, and monitoring on mustahik income using a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression. Primary data was collected from 193 mustahik receiving productive zakat from BAZNAS Sragen in 2023. The results show that all three variables positively and significantly affect mustahik income. The t-test results for productive zakat (t = 2.953), training (t = 3.428), and monitoring (t = 4.322) exceed the t-table value (1.972) with Sig. < 0.05. The F-test confirms the model’s significance (F = 41.421, Sig. = 0.000), with R² = 39.7%, indicating strong explanatory power. In conclusion, optimizing zakat utilization, effective training, and monitoring are crucial for increasing mustahik income. Future research should apply Policy Evaluation Tool (PET) Analysis for better program assessment.
