Abstract

Penguasaan teknologi informasi menjadi kebutuhan penting bagi organisasi berbasis komunitas dalam menyebarluaskan informasi secara cepat dan terstruktur. Komunitas Pasien Cuci Darah Indonesia (KPCDI) Palembang membutuhkan sarana digital yang dapat menunjang komunikasi dan edukasi antaranggota. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan penggunaan WordPress sebagai media informasi komunitas. Pelatihan dilaksanakan di Rumah Sakit RK Charitas Palembang dengan metode ceramah, demonstrasi, dan praktik langsung. Materi pelatihan mencakup pengelolaan konten situs, pengunggahan media, dan pengaturan tampilan dasar website. Peserta dibimbing secara bertahap agar mampu memahami penggunaan platform meskipun berasal dari latar belakang non-teknis. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta antusias dan mampu mengikuti alur pelatihan dengan baik. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat kapasitas digital KPCDI Palembang dalam pengelolaan media informasi secara mandiri dan berkelanjutan

Abstract

Cigarette object detection in indoor environments plays a vital role for enforcing smoke-free zone regulations and protecting public health from secondhand smoke exposure. This study investigates the performance of YOLOv11n architecture integrated with three lightweight backbone modifications (MobileNetV2, GhostNet, and ShuffleNet V2) for real-time cigarette detection with the aim of achieving efficiency suitable for potential deployment on resource-constrained edge devices. Comprehensive experiments were conducted using the Cigar Detection Dataset comprising 5,333 images, augmented to 8,890 samples through horizontal flipping and brightness adjustment techniques. All models were trained for 100 epochs using the SGD optimizer on an NVIDIA Tesla T4 GPU. The evaluation metrics included detection accuracy (mAP@0.5, mAP@0.5:0.95, precision, recall, and F1-score) and computational efficiency (parameters, model size, GFLOPs, and FPS). Experimental results demonstrate that the pretrained YOLOv11n baseline achieves the highest detection accuracy with mAP@0.5 of 0.8072 and precision of 0.8688. Among lightweight backbone variants, ShuffleNet V2 (0.5x) provides the most compact solution with only 2.28M parameters and a 4.73 MB model size, while ShuffleNet V2 (0.75x) offers an optimal balance between accuracy (mAP@0.5: 0.7430) and efficiency with only 0.95% accuracy degradation compared to the 1.0x variant. These findings provide practical guidance for selecting appropriate model configurations based on deployment constraints in smoke-free area monitoring systems.

Abstract

The development of information technology has changed the landscape of communication and information access in various agencies. The increasing use of the internet as a tool for getting work done has triggered a surge in internet traffic, which has become a challenge for information technology infrastructure management. In the past, shared hosting technology was a common solution for providing web services, but with increasing complexity and the need for more scalable resources, this technology began to feel less relevant. Virtual Private Servers (VPS) emerged as a better and more efficient alternative to handle internet traffic spikes. Unlike shared hosting that divides resources among many users, VPS provides separately assigned resources for each use, including CPU, RAM, and storage. This ensures that each instance has guaranteed and scalable access to the resources they need. To maximize the use of VPS technology, aaPanel Navigation service is added as a tool that makes it easy to create services, maintain, and monitor server status. With the various features provided, server administration becomes more efficient and manageable. However, the use of aaPanel Navigation requires training for administrators in order to understand and utilize the existing functions optimally. Service development using VPS technology and aaPanel Navigation follows the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) method. The stages of analysis, design, simulation, implementation, monitoring, and management are carried out sequentially to ensure that the network infrastructure built can meet the needs of the agency properly and efficiently. As told above, the use of VPS technology and aaPanel Navigation as an alternative to overcome internet traffic spikes has brought a positive impact in improving the performance and efficiency of web or blog services at various agencies.

Abstract

Hemodialysis services for patients with chronic kidney disease require appropriate decision-making, especially in determining patient priorities when healthcare resources are limited. Subjective decision-making may lead to inaccuracies and potential inequality in healthcare services. Therefore, an information technology–based approach is needed to support a more objective and structured decision-making process. This study aims to implement the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method in a Decision Support System to determine the priority of hemodialysis patients. The study used sample data from five patients with five evaluation criteria, namely patient age, blood pressure, creatinine level, duration of kidney failure, and frequency of hemodialysis treatment. The analysis process includes the construction of a decision matrix, normalization of criteria values based on benefit and cost attributes, and calculation of preference values using weighted criteria. The results show that the SAW method can generate a clear priority ranking of patients. Based on the calculation results, patient A3 obtained the highest preference value of 0.92, followed by patient A1 with 0.88 and patient A5 with 0.87, indicating a higher urgency for receiving hemodialysis services. The implementation of this approach contributes to the development of health information technology, particularly in supporting more objective and transparent decision-making in hemodialysis patient management.

Abstract

Penguasaan sistem operasi Linux menjadi kebutuhan penting dalam dunia teknologi informasi, namun masih banyak siswa SMK yang belum memiliki kompetensi dasar dalam penggunaan command line. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi teknis siswa melalui pelatihan dasar Linux. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan berbasis praktik langsung dengan pendekatan hands-on, meliputi materi navigasi file, manajemen proses, jaringan, dan informasi sistem. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mampu memahami dan mengimplementasikan perintah dasar Linux secara mandiri serta menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan teknis. Pelatihan ini juga memberikan kontribusi dalam mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi kebutuhan industri serta memperkenalkan pemanfaatan teknologi open source. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi siswa di bidang teknologi informasi.
