Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of emotional intelligence on the mathematics learning outcomes of MTs students. NW Pagutan. This type of research is ex-post facto with a quantitative approach. The subjects of this study were seventh grade students at MTs. NW Pagutan. The data collection method used in this research is in the form of questionnaires and documentation. The results obtained in this study are the magnitude of F count is 29,020. Meanwhile, the value of is at a significance level of 5% with N=19, which is 4.45. Then with a significance/probability level of 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that it is significant, so H_a is accepted and H_o is rejected. The conclusion that can be drawn from this research is that there is an influence of emotional intelligence on the mathematics learning outcomes of seventh grade students of MTs NW Pagutan. The suggestions put forward in this study are that teachers are expected to be more familiar with the emotional conditions of students, so that teachers can choose appropriate learning methods or models so that they can help students achieve maximum learning outcomes.

Abstract

Antepartum hemorrhage is a complication that often occurs in pregnancy until just before delivery. Based on the theory of antepartum hemorrhage, there are several risk factors for pregnant women such as maternal age, parity, history of childbirth, and malnutrition. In 2020, the highest incidence of antepartum hemorrhage in the Kenanga Community Health Center working area was 54 people. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the incidence of antepartum hemorrhage in the Kenanga Community Health Center Work Area in 2023. This research uses an analytical survey research method with a "Case Control" approach with a sample of 52 pregnant women who experienced antepartum hemorrhage and 52 people who did not experience antepartum hemorrhage with a total sample of 104 samples recorded in the Kenanga Community Health Center Work Area in 2023. The results of the study show that parity and birth history are related. with the incidence of antepartum hemorrhage in the Kenanga Community Health Center Work Area in 2023, namely parity (p=0.000 or p < 0.05) and OR=0.194 (there is a relationship and 0.1 times the chance), history of previous birth (p=0.006 or p < 0.05) and OR=0.326 (there is a relationship and 0.3 times the chance). For the Kenanga Community Health Center, it is hoped that the results of this research can be used as consideration in carrying out early detection of high-risk pregnancies and childbirth. This can be carried out by means of scheduled counseling about the high risks of pregnancy which can cause antepartum bleeding. Apart from that, quality pregnancy checks can be carried out with a sufficient number of ANC visits according to standards to monitor the welfare of the mother and baby in her womb Keywords: Parity, Childbirth History, Antepartum.

Abstract

PRM is one of the causes of the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR). In Indonesia, the incidence of PRM ranges from 8-10% of all pregnancies. The PRM rate reaches 3-10% of childbirth. In general, this study aims to find out the factors related to the incidence of premature rupture of membranes in pregnant women at Bakti Timah Hospital, Pangkalpinang City in 2023. This study uses a quantitative method with a Case Control design. The instrument used was secondary data from medical records at Bakti Timah Hospital, Pangkalpinang City. The population of this study is all mothers giving birth at Bakti Timah Hospital in 2023, the number of samples of 146 people consists of 73 case groups (mothers giving birth with PRM) and 73 control groups (mothers giving birth without PRM). Sampling was done using Nonprobability sampling techniques. The statistical test used is the Chi Square test. The result showed that there was a meaningful relationship between maternal age, namely 2,859 times at risk, parity at 2,936 times at risk, and occupation at 2,898 times at risk and KPD history 5,867 times at risk of experiencing PRM in pregnant women at Bakti Timah Hospital, Pangkalpinang City in 2023. The result of the study are expected to be used as input to improve the quality of services for pregnant and maternity women so that they can reduce the incidence of PRM and at the same time reduce the maternal mortality rate.
