Abstract

Jendi village, selected as a pilot project which received the Neighborhood Development program (ND) is the government's effort to solve the poor’s problemsbased onimprovementof housing’s quality. To achieve the goal, the building implementation should be based on the plan that has been made. So, it makes a question “is the implementation of Jendi Village based on Building and Environmental Planning and how the factors affect the suitability itself.”This research uses quantities research methods to analyze the factors that affect the implementation of RTBL Jendi Village. The suitability is found from the analysis which compare the plan and the implementation related with each aspect of planning. To know the factors that affect the implementation of RTBL Jendi Village, the analysis is done using the quantities methods from combination of implementable suitability and the suitable factors of implementation.  The research obtain that the implementable suitability with RTBL of Jendi Village has 81,25% with the suitability from streets, public open space, environment identity concept, the face of the streets, drainage. Factors that affect the implementable suitability with RTBL Jendi Village is communication, human resource, authority, infrastructures and facilities, money, attitude and commitment, bureaucracy structures, and support. And the other factor which not affected with suitability is information resource.Keywords: Factor that affect the implementable suitability, RTBL, Neighborhood Development

Abstract

Placemaking is an attempt to form a space into a place that has meaning for its users. The concept of placemaking motivated by all the existing space in the city, both of street and public space that can have meaning as a place where it will occur at the site of social interaction and communication among users of space. Street in a commercial corridor in Surakarta is an important infrastructure to support commercial activities, but the function of the cause of street becomes passive and less interested in the community to conduct joint activities in that space. This shows that street is still not able to accommodate other activities simultaneously and social interactions that lead to placemaking. The problem in this study is whether placemaking already happening commercial corridor street and how much street placemaking commercial corridors. Scope of this research include the way to commercial corridor Surakarta with sample corridor commercial there are six . The method used to determine how much placemaking happened in the commercial corridor of street to be reviewed based on variables derived from placemaking elements, namely comfort and image, accessibility and linkage, uses and activities, as well as sosialibility. The research proves that placemaking has occurred in the commercial corridor of street in Surakarta. But the realization of placemaking in commercial corridor street is still weak, as indicated by the lack of availability of means of supporting activities in the form sitting group. Pedestrian walkway used for informal traders activity and social interaction has not been evenly occurs in the entirety of the commercial corridors in the city of Surakarta. Keywords: placemaking, street, commercial corridor.

Abstract

Surakarta City has some problems of settlement, one of which is illegal settlement in the river bank. One of government’s programs to deal with it is relocation program. One of beneficiaries of the program is Kelurahan Sewu residence which was relocated to Kelurahan Mojosongo residence. The objective of settlement relocation is to make the people get appropriate house and environment free of flood disaster usually encountered by them annually. The parameter used to evaluate the aspects in this research was based on the standard for appropriate settlement environment. This study was conducted to find out the compatibility of standard appropriate settlement environment application to post-relocation settlement based on the existing condition and public opinion. A descriptive comparative analysis was conducted to find out the extent to which standard appropriate settlement was applied. The study found that relocation settlement environment condition based on the result of observation and public opinion get total scoring of 2.763. From the scoring obtained, it could be seen that data of field condition and public opinion indicated that post-relocation settlement in Kelurahan Mojosongo from Kelurahan Sewu had met category “appropriate/suitable” to standard appropriate settlement. This explanation suggested that relocation conducted from river bank settlement in Kelurahan Sewu to Kelurahan Mojosongo helped the people meet their need for settlement with appropriate condition. People could get better life compared with that in previous location before receiving relocation.

Abstract

Terminal is included in the transportation network system which functions as a place for passengers to take the bus and a place to drop the passengers. Terminal is also the element of spatial arrangement which influences the structure and system of a town’s movement. The development of Giri Adipura Terminal in Singodutan Village which was done from 2010 to 2014 is aimed to recover the performance of previous terminal and to develop the surrounding area. Phenomenon which was happened in Giri Adipura Terminal is there were still many passengers who were not utilizing the terminal function and the public transportations were not entering the terminal in order. This research was done to know the performance of Giri Adipura Terminal function in transportation system in Wonogiri Regency. The used research method was quantitative with deductive approach. The used analysis technique was scoring, by determined the parameter and indicator in each variabel. The result of scoring calculation from the performance of Giri Adipura Terminal function in transportation system in Wonogiri Regency was 9.33. Based on the performance of terminal function category, 9.33 score was in range of 6.68—9.35, so it was included in the average performance category. Thus, the performance of Giri Adipura Terminal function in transportation system in Wonogiri Regency has not reach a good performance yet and it needs some things which should be done to reach that performance. For the performance of each variable, variables which were in the good performance category were accessibility and traffic management. Meanwhile, variables which were in the average category were terminal service and transportation movement access. Keywords: performance, terminal function, transportation system

Abstract

Adi Soemarmo International Airport is one of the terminal air transportation, which is currently being carried out development. Empirically, Adi Soemarmo International Airport have a direction towards the development of Surakarta is a corridor that connects the Adi Soemarmo International Airport with the city center of Surakarta. One of the corridors that developed along the development of Adi Soemarmo International Airport is an Adi Sucipto road corridor. Development in Adi Sucipto road corridor are emerging land use of commercial activities. The problem in this research is how to influence the development of Adi Soemarmo International Airport to changes in land use of trade and services in the Adi Sucipto road corridor? The purpose of research is influence the development of Adi Soemarmo International Airport to changes in land use of trade and services in the corridor of Adi Sucipto road corridor. The method used is the deductive research methods with quantitative research. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. Conclusions from this research is the development of Adi Soemarmo International Airport influence to changes in land use of trade and services in the corridor of Adi Sucipto road corridor. The degree of influence can be divided into three classifications that is high levels of influence, medium levels of influence, and low levels of influence. High levels of influence, that is (1) the influence of the facility of Adi Soemarmo International Airport to function of land use and floor space ratio of trade and service in the corridor of Adi Sucipto road. (2) the influence of of the accessibility of Adi Soemarmo International Airport to function of land use and floor space ratio of trade and service in the corridor of Adi Sucipto road. Keywords: airport, road corridor, land use

Abstract

Abstract: Limited land for housing in Surakarta eventually make the society chosen an alternative to living in residential housing on the southern fringe of Surakarta.The problems in this research is how influence of factors society living preference when choosing a residential housing to the physical condition of the environment on the southern fringe of Surakarta. The purpose of research is to find the influence of factors society living preference when choosing a residential housing to the physical condition of the environment on the southern fringe of Surakarta. The used research method was quantitative with deductive approach. The analysis technique used is descriptive eksplanatif analysis. Overall the conclusion of this research is factors society living preference when choosing a residential housing give high influence to physical condition of the environment on the southern fringe of Surakarta. When viewed its influence to each of these aspect physical condition of the environment, factors society living preference when choosing a residential housing give high level of influence on the residential density condition, give high level of influence on the facilities condition, give high level of influence on the infrastructure condition and give medium level of influence on the accessibility condition. Keyword: Housing, Living preference, Physical condition of the environment

Abstract

Kota merupakan konsentrasi penduduk dalam suatu wilayah geografis tertentu yang mampu menghidupi dirinya sendiri melalui kegiatan ekonomi. Kawasan Pecinan telah dikenal secara luas di Indonesia sebagai domain ekonomi atau pusat aktivitas komersial. Jalan Pemuda di Kota Magelang merupakan kawasan pemukiman tionghoa atau pecinan dengan aktivitas komersial yang berkembang pesat. Perkembangan aktivitas komersial ini manimbulkan tarikan pergerakan yang tinggi. Konsekuensinya permintaan parkir pada kawasan komersial tersebut meningkat. On street parking terjadi karena tidak adanya fasilitas off street parking atau fasilitas parkir yang tersedia tidak dapat memenuhi kebutuhan yang ada. On street parking di Jalan Pemuda adalah on street parking terpanjang dan paling masif di Kota Magelang. Selain itu Jalan Pemuda adalah jalan utama Kota Magelang yang melintasi pusat kota dan merupakan penghubung dua pusat kegiatan nasional (PKN) yaitu Kota Yogyakarta dan Kota Semarang. Oleh sebab itu memahami potensi gangguan on street parking yang masif terhadap kinerja jalan pada kawasan seperti ini adalah hal penting. Motode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan 4 variabel on street parking dan 2 variabel kinerja jalan serta proses analisis triangulasi untuk mengetahui potesi gangguan on street parking pada kawasan komersial terhadap kinerja jalan. Triangulasi metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi lapangan, wawancara dan kuesioner. Hasil dari penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa on street parking di Jalan Pemuda Kota Magelang memberikan tingkat gangguan yang tinggi terhadap kinerja jalan. Oleh sebab itu sangat penting untuk mencari alternative lokasi off street parking untuk mengakomodasi parkir di Jalan Pemuda untuk menghindari kemacetan di jalan utama Kota Magelang.Kata Kunci : kawasan komersial, kinerja jalan, on street parking.

Abstract

Stabilisasi merupakan salah satu program penataan PKL pemerintah kota Surakarta yang berfungsi untuk memberi legalitas pada PKL di suatu kawasan dengan memfasilitasi tempat dagang permanen dan sejumlah fasilitas penunjang salah satunya seperti parkir on street. Adanya program stabilisasi berpotensi menimbukan permasalahan baru seperti dampak berupa beban transportasi di jalan sekitarnya. Salah satu PKL stabilisasi di kota Surakarta tersebut adalah PKL shelter Manahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh stabilisasi PKL shelter Manahan terhadap kinerja jalan Menteri Supeno. Tahap pertama penelitian yaitu mengidentifikasi aktivitas PKL shelter yang memicu pergerakan yang mempengaruhi besar volume kendaraan jalan Menteri Supeno. Tahap kedua yaitu menganalisis volume kendaraan jalan Menteri Supeno. Tahap ketiga mengidentifikasi kondisi parkir on street yang mempengaruhi kapasitas jalan Menteri Supeno. Tahap selanjutnya, menganalisis kapasitas jalan Menteri Supeno. Kemudian menganalisis kinerja jalan Menteri Supeno yang dilanjut dengan mengidentifikasi pengaruh PKL stabilisasi Manahan terhadap kinerja jalan Menteri Supeno. Hasil akhir penelitian ini adalah teridentifikasinya pengaruh yang dimulai dari aktivitas PKL shelter membangkitkan pergerakan menyebabkan peningkatan volume kendaraan, disisi lain keberadaan parkir on street PKL shelter mengalami kekurangan daya tampung yang secara signifikan menurunkan kapasitas jalan menyebabkan kemampuan jalan Menteri Supeno dalam menampung beban lalulintas berkurang, semua hal tersebut berkolaborasi dalam menurunkan nilai kinerja jalan sehingga jalan Menteri Supeno mengalami penurunan kualitas. Pada akhirnya diperoleh hasil bahwa keberadaan stabilisasi PKL shelter Manahan mempengaruhi kinerja jalan Menteri Supeno.

Abstract

Kota Surakarta memiliki 283 Ha Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) Publik yang terdiri dari 637 unit RTH. Salah satu fungsi ekologis RTH Publik adalah sebagai resapan air. Fenomea yang terjadi saat ini seringkali terjadi genangan pada berbagai jenis RTH publik pada saat hujan turun. Kondisi tersebut mengganggu aktivitas yang terjadi di dalamnya karena selain memiliki fungsi ekologis, ruang terbuka hijau juga memiliki fungsi sosial, ekonomi, dan estetika. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan ruang terbuka hijau publik di Surakarta dalam mereduksi genangan air. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis skoring dan overlay. Analisis dilakukan dengan memberi skor pada 7 variabel yaitu karakteristik kawasan dan tutupan lahan, jenis vegetasi, tekstur tanah, jenis tanah, kelerengan, curah hujan, dan teknologi resapan dengan bobot 1 pada masing-masing variabel. Hasil skoring diklasifikasikan menjadi 3 klasifikasi dengan tingkat kemampuan tinggi, tingkat kemampuan sedang, dan tingkat kemampuan rendah. Untuk mengetahui hasilnya secara spasial, dilakukan dengan overlay melalui software ArcGIS. Dari hasil analisis didapatkan 20 unit RTH Publik memiliki tingkat kemampuan tinggi, 614 unit RTH Publik memiliki tingkat kemampuan sedang, dan 3 unit RTH Publik memiliki tingkat kemampuan rendah.Tingkat kemampuan Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) Publik tersebut tersebar secara merata di 5 Kecamatan di Surakarta. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kemampuan ruang terbuka hijau publik di Surakarta dalam mereduksi genangan air sebesar 171.531 m3 / Tahun atau sebesar 67.34% dari kapasitas maksimumnya sehingga masih perlu ditingkatkan.
