Abstract

Mung bean (Vigna radiata L.) is leguminoceae plant with high protein and big potential to be cultivated. Application of sea shells powder have an important role in improving the chemistry nutrition of the peat soil. The aim of the study is to determine the best dose of sea shells powder on the growth and yield of mungbean plants in peat soil. This research was carried out on experimental field Agriculture Faculty of Tanjungpura University, Pontianak which took place from April to June 2019. The method used was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisted of 5 treatment levels, 5 replications, and 4 sample plants. Application of the sea shells powder treatment consist of k1 = 5 ton/ha, k2 = 10 ton/ha, k3 = 15 ton/ha, k4 = 20 ton/ha, and k5 = 25 ton/ha. The observed variables in this research consisted of plant height (cm), root volume (cm3), plant dry weight (g), number of pods (pods), dry seed weight (g), dry seed weight 100 (g). The results showed that the best dose of sea shells powder growth and yield of mung bean was a dose of 5 ton/ha or equivalent to 62 g/polybag.Keywords : mungbean, peat soil, sea shells powder.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the best variety and dose of palm bunch ash on peanut on alluvial soil, and to know whether there is interection between variety and dosage of palm bunch ash on peanut on alluvial soil. This study used Split Plot Design with two treatment factors consisting of variety (V) as main plot and palm bunch ash (A) as subplot. The variety consist of three levels, namely : v1 = (jerapah), v2 = (talam 2) and v3 = (talam 3) and palm bunch ash consist of three levels, namely : a1 = ( 1,5 ton/ha), a2 = ( 3 ton/ha) and a3 = ( 4,5 ton/ha). Each of the treatment was repeated 3 times. The observed variables in this study are plant height (cm), root volume (cm3), the dry weight of the plant (g), the number of pods per plant, the dry weight of kernel per plant (g) and dry weight of kernel per plot. The results showed that the using of jerapah variety and 3 ton/ha dose of palm bunch ash is best average are the number of pods per plant (pod), the dry weight of kernel per plant (g) and dry weight of kernel per plot (g) . But there is no interaction between variety and palm bunch ash on the growth and nyield of peanut on alluvial soil. Key word : variety, peanut, palm bunch ash, alluvial soil.

Abstract

This study was aimed to obtain the best concentration of liquid organic fertilizer from fish waste to the growth and yield of kale on the field. The research was conducted from March 1st until April 16th, 2019 at the experiment field in Agriculture Faculty, Tanjungpura University, Pontianak. The research was used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with the application of organic fertilizer as a single factor. The research was designed in 5 treatments of concentration and 5 replications, each replication consisted of 4 sample plants. The treatments consist of i1 = 300 ml / liter of water, i2 = 400 ml / liter of water, i3 = 500 ml / liter of water, i4 = 600 ml / liter of water, i5 = 700 ml / liter of water. The variables observed in this research consist of root volume, number of leaves, plant fresh weight, plant dry weight, and root dry weight. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the administration of liquid organic fertilizer from fish waste can increase the growth and yield of kale plants on peat soil. Giving concentration of liquid organic fertilizer from fish waste 600 ml/liter of water produces the highest number of leaves and a concentration of 700 ml/liter of water produces fresh weight and the highest dry weight of kale plants. The use of liquid organic fertilizer from fish waste with a concentration of 500 ml/liter of water showed the most efficient results for all observation variables. Keywords: fish waste, kale, liquid organic fertilizer, peat

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of tofu pulp waste bokashi on the growth and yield of snaps and to determine how many tofu pulp waste bokashi the best to improve the growth and yield of snaps in ultisol soil. This study held from April 10st to June 10th 2019, the research was conducted in the experimental land of the faculty of agriculture at Tanjungpura University. The method used is Complete Randomized Design (CRD) of one factor. The treatment consisted of 5 treatments, namely (= tofu pulp waste bokashi 1 kg/polybag, = tofu pulp waste bokashi 2 kg/polybag, = tofu pulp waste bokashi 3 kg/polybag, = tofu pulp waste bokashi 4 kg/polybag, = tofu pulp waste bokashi 5 kg/polybag) all treatments were repeated 5 times, each treatment consisting of 4 plant samples. The results showed that the application of 5 kg/polybag tofu pulp waste bokashi was the best of improve the growth and yield of snaps in ultisol soil. Key Word: PMK soil, snaps, tofu pulp waste bokashi.
