Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of empowerment on the creativity and performance of managers of Village Credit Institutions (LPD) in Gianyar Regency and examine the role of creativity as mediating the inuence of empowerment on performance. This research was tested on 120 LPD managers spread across Payangan, Gianyar, and Sukawati Districts. The analysis technique used is path analysis. The results showed that empowerment and creativity had a positive and signicant direct inuence on the performance of LPD managers. Research also shows that empowerment has an indirect effect on manager's performance through creativity, so that it can be said that the creativity variable has a role as a mediating variable.

Abstract

Abstract

Job satisfaction is a state of one's work reflected by the emotional attitude expressed through one's work attitude. Women careers tend to experience stress than men, especially those who work as nurses and midwives, because the demands of a woman's responsibilities in the family is large enough. This will certainly affect the job satisfaction of a career woman. This study aims to analyze the role of work stress mediation on the influence of work-family conflict on job satisfaction. This study was conducted on health workers (midwives and nurses) women Prima Medika Hospital. The sample of this research is as many as 45 respondents with sample determination method which refers to Roscoe approach (1975). Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires using Likert scale. The analysis technique used is path analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, this study shows the work-family conflict has a positive and significant effect on job stress, job stress has a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction, work-family conflict has a negative and significant impact on job satisfaction. and work stress mediates the influence of work- on job satisfaction.

Abstract

Intention to leave is an important issue that needs attention for management especially in the hospitality industry. Intention to leave is an indicatication from the actual turnover, and high turnover numbers can caused significant losses for the company. The aim of this study is to analyze the role of job satisfaction in mediating the effects of role conflict and job stress to the intention of leave. The study is conducted at Anantara Seminyak Resort & Spa, Bali with a sample of 60 employees who were taken from a population of 148 people using Slovin method. Collecting data using questionnaire and data analysis techniques with PLS. The results showed that the role conflict and job stress has negative and significant effect to employee job satisfaction. Role conflict and job stress has positive and significant effect to the intention to leave. Job satisfaction has negative and significant effect to the intention to leave. Job satisfaction proved to be partially mediation in relations of role conflict and job stress to the employee intention to levae. Implications of this study is to suppress intention to leave and prevent the occurrence of actual turnover, is important for the management of the company to make efforts that can reduce role conflict and job stress of the employees.

Abstract

Small and medium industry (SMI) is the leading sector of the economy of Bali that have contribution on export and labor absorption. In the face of the increasingly competition nowadays, SMI should have primacy as a typical company’s ability to win the competition. The purpose of this research is to know the application of empowerment of human resources and its role in the creativity of employees as a source of competitiveness of the company. Responden in this research are employees of SMI apparel industry sectors from textiles and craft industry of wood, metal, gold and silver, in the Badung Regency. These studies use quantitative analysis approach, using multiple linear regression analysis technique. The results showed that the structural and psychological empowerment simultaneously significant role in propping up the creativity of employees. Structural and psychological empowerment partially also plays a positive and significant in the creativity of employees. The results of this research may imply that the better structural and psychological empowerment happens in companies growing the SMI creativity of employees. The creativity demonstrated by the new combination makes creative in completing the work and improve the ways of completing tasks so that the results of its work more meaningful for the company in the face of an increasingly tight competition.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh keadilan organisasi, budaya organisasi, dan pemberdayaankaryawan terhadap komitmen organisasional. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada karyawan LPD Desa Adat Jimbaran.Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sebanyak 78 responden dengan metode sampling jenuh. Pengumpulan datadilakukan dengan melalui penyebaran kuesioner dengan menggunakan skala Likert. Teknik yang digunakandalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linier berganda. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel keadilanorganisasi, budaya organisasi, dan pemberdayaan karyawan berpengaruh positif terhadap komitmen organisasionalkaryawan LPD Desa Adat Jimbaran. Disarankan agar perusahaan harus mampu memberikan jadwal kerja secaraadil kepada seluruh karyawan, perusahaan harus mampu memotivasi karyawan dengan memberikan penghargaansehingga karyawan berkemauan kuat dalam bekerja, dan perusahaan juga harus memfasilitasi kapasitas potensialdengan memperoleh kompetensi karyawan sehingga karyawan mempraktikkan kemampuan yang dimiliki sepertiide-ide dan inovasi terbaik meraka bagi perusahaan.

Abstract

Abstract - This research was conducted to examine the effect of organizational support against the job satisfaction and work motivation against the members of Border Patrol Unit. The populations were 327. However the researcher defined to have a 60 members of the unit as a sample which only focus on the ranks of Ajente, Ajente Prinsipál, Ajente Xefe and First Sergeants. This research were uses a quantitative and quantitative approach and desriptif methods against the items were be tested and described by using the average value and the percentage score by using the Smart Partial Least Square (PLS) approach.The Results of this research was shown that, the Organization Support against the job satisfaction and work motivation as well as the job satisfatin against the work motivatin of members were positive and significant effected on member’s work motivation. dengan Mediasi Kepuasan Kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran mediasi kepuasankerja dalam pengaruh implementasi ISO 9001:2008 terhadap kinerja pegawai. Kuisioner disebarkan kepadaseluruh karyawan (pegawai tetap maupun kontrak) pada UPTP Balai Latihan Transmigrasi Denpasaryang berjumlah total 43 orang dan digunakan sebagai instrument penelitian dengan menggunakanteknik analisis deskriptif dan jalur. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa implementasi ISO 9001:2008berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja dan kinerja pegawai, dan kepuasan kerjaberpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Kata Kunci: ISO 9001:2008, kinerja pegawai, kepuasan kerja pegawai

Abstract

The Effect Of Company’s Reputation, Job Description and Offered Compensation on Individual’s Intention to Apply a Job. Recruitment process is one of key HR activities that should be conducted appropriately in a company. However, the role of prospective employees in providing inputs to the company regarding the recruitment process is not clear. The aim of this research is to understand the perspectives of potential employees regarding the effect of company’s reputation, job description and offered compensation on individual’s intention to apply a job. The participants are 73 final-year undergraduate students at the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Udayana, with the proportionate stratified random sampling as the sampling method. This research used multiple regressions as its data analysis method. This research found that all three variables influence individual to apply a certain job. One interesting finding is that the individual tends to be motivated to apply job if he or she finds that the company has a clear job description Keywords: company’s reputation, job description, offered compensation, intention to apply jobs

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of organizational culture and employee satisfaction to organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) of nurses. The research population were nurses from private general hospital type C in the city of Denpasar with number of respondents were 85 nurses. Sampling technique conducted with a random proportional sampling technique. The research instrument used questionnaires and analyzed with Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results showed that the organizational culture has a positive and significant influence on organizational commitment and OCB, employee satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on organizational commitment and OCB.
