Abstract

This study aims to assess the impact of gold mining operations on the socioeconomic well-being of the Paring Lahung Village community in the Montallat District of North Barito Regency. The research utilizes both secondary and primary data sources. Secondary data is collected from many sources, such as the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), sub-district offices, villages/districts, and private entities. On the other hand, primary data is directly received from respondents residing in Paring Lahung Village, Montallat District, North Barito Regency. For a sample size of 30 participants. The research findings indicate that there is a discernible public impression regarding the presence of unauthorized gold mining operations in Paring Lahung Village. The findings indicate that the residents of Paring Lahung Village have a predominantly neutral stance towards gold mining operations. Out of the total number of respondents, 14 individuals (46%) expressed a positive attitude towards gold mining activities in the vicinity of the Paring Lahung Village forest area. Additionally, 9 respondents (30%) had a neutral view, while 7 respondents (24%) exhibited a negative attitude towards such activities. The present study examines the social, economic, and environmental conditions associated with the presence of gold mining activities in Paring Lahung Village. The analysis of social situations reveals that individuals distribute their wealth towards several sectors, including education, health, and housing. The economic conditions demonstrate a tendency towards above-average performance and have exhibited growth subsequent to the implementation of gold mining operations. This can be attributed to the augmentation of respondents' primary income, as well as the acquisition of supplementary sources of revenue. In Paring Lahung Village, the prevailing environmental conditions indicate the utilization of a method to separate combined gold and sand, alongside a minority engaging in conventional processing techniques. As per the accounts of certain inhabitants, the procedure of gold extraction involves the utilization of quicksilver, often known as mercury. Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the characteristics of farmers and the profile of pineapple farming in Batu Nindan Village, Basarang District, Kapuas Regency, and to analyze the factors that influence the income of pineapple farming carried out by farmers in Batu Nindan Village, Basarang District, Kapuas Regency. This research was conducted in Batu Nindan Village, Basarang District, Kapuas Regency. The research location was chosen purposively to obtain the research objective, namely, to determine the factors influencing income in pineapple farming. The sample population that became research respondents was 35 pineapple farmers. This number is based on the sample determination method, classified as non-probability sampling. The analysis method used is descriptive data analysis. The research findings show that pineapple farmers' income in Batu Nindan Village is influenced by the size of the business, capital, amount of production, and labor. All variables show significant influence both partially and simultaneously

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the influence of education investment, health investment, HDI, and labor productivity on Indonesian exports of goods and services simultaneously or partially. This type of research is quantitative research. The samples in this research are an investment in education, investment value in health, HDI, labor productivity, and the value of Indonesian exports using time series data from 1994 to 2023. Analysis is used to calculate directly the magnitude of the influence of investment value in education, investment value in the health sector, HDI, labor productivity as the independent variable, and the value of Indonesian exports as the dependent variable. The findings in this research are that the investment value variables in the education sector and the investment value in the health sector have no significant effect on the value of Indonesian exports. The variable value of the Human Development Index and the value of Indonesian labor productivity have a positive and significant effect on the value of Indonesian exports. Meanwhile, in the simultaneous test of independent variables, the investment value of the education sector, the investment value of the health sector, the value of the Human Development Index, and the productivity of Indonesian labor have a positive and significant effect on the value of Indonesian exports.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat dampak yang ditimbulkan oleh keberadaan perusahaan Crude Palm Oil PT. Agro Lestari Sentosa tentang kondisi sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat yang tinggal di sekitar perusahaan. Sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Data primer sebanyak 30 orang. Teknik analisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap sosial ekonomi masyarakat Desa Tumbang Talaken berupa peningkatan sarana dan prasarana, membuka lapangan usaha dan lapangan kerja serta meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat setelah adanya perusahaan kelapa sawit PT. Agro Lestari Sentosa. Hasil analisis pendapatan sebelum (2005) dan setelah berdirinya perusahaan (2018) dengan uji beda menunjukkan peningkatan pendapatan rata-rata hampir 150%

Abstract

Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah yang tengah berkembang di Desa Bukit Bamba, Kecamatan Kahayan Tengah, Kabupaten Pulang Pisau yaitu usaha komoditi jamur tiram dan madu kelulut. Potensi pasar jamur tiram dan madu kelulut cukup baik karena permintaan akan jamur tiram  meningkat dari tahun ke tahun, namun masalah yang terjadi yakni pemasaran dan pengembangan bisnis berbasis online. Tujuan pengabdian adalah memberikan pendampingan pemasaran untuk pelaku UMKM. Harapan program pendampingan pemasaran UMKM ini diharapkan bisa menjadi solusi permasalahan. Metode pelaksanaan yaitu studi lapang dan penyuluhan terhadap pemilik UMKM serta pelatihan strategi digital marketing sehingga harapannya pendapatan pelaku UMKM dapat meningkat lebih baik. Hasil pelatihan berupa  peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan digital diantaranya cara pembuatan akun media social dan teknik SEO.

Abstract

This academic investigation is meticulously designed with the primary objective of categorizing and analyzing the performance metrics of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) situated within the urban confines of Palangka Raya City, with a particular emphasis on financial dimensions, product sales figures, and the efficacy of marketing strategies employed by these enterprises. Through the utilization of this systematic methodology, it becomes feasible to discern and identify groups of MSMEs that exhibit homogeneity in their operational characteristics, thereby facilitating the development of more precise and tailored strategies aimed at fostering their growth and development. To gather relevant primary data that would underpin this analysis, a comprehensive survey was administered to a total of 100 respondents, utilizing a well-structured questionnaire designed to elicit detailed information regarding their business operations. The analytical process employed in this study incorporated descriptive statistical tests, which were instrumental in not only processing the collected data but also in effectively visualizing the results, thus enhancing the interpretability of the findings. The outcomes derived from the clustering analysis revealed significant patterns that can be leveraged to inform management strategies for MSMEs, particularly in relation to enhancing operational efficiency and augmenting the effectiveness of their marketing endeavors. It is the aspiration of this scholarly work that the insights garnered herein will serve as a valuable resource for government entities and various stakeholders, enabling them to make informed decisions that are grounded in empirical data and that contribute positively to the economic growth of the local community. Furthermore, by providing a clearer understanding of the operational landscape of MSMEs, this study aims to encourage the implementation of supportive policies that are conducive to sustainable development within the region. Ultimately, the research endeavors to bridge the gap between academic inquiry and practical application, thereby fostering a collaborative environment in which both theory and practice can thrive in the pursuit of economic advancement. In conclusion, the findings of this study hold the potential to significantly influence the strategic direction of MSMEs in Palangka Raya City, ultimately contributing to a more robust local economy.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di Desa Henda, sentra produksi semangka Kalimantan Tengah, bertujuan untuk mendampingi petani dalam meningkatkan akses permodalan serta mengembangkan inovasi pengolahan buah semangka berbasis konsep go green. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) yang dikombinasikan dengan pendekatan edukatif melalui sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan intensif selama tiga bulan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 80% petani yang terlibat memahami cara mengakses sumber permodalan seperti Kredit Usaha Rakyat (KUR), dengan 30% di antaranya berhasil mendapatkan kredit untuk pengembangan usaha. Petani juga mampu menciptakan produk inovatif seperti keripik kulit semangka dan sirup semangka, serta memanfaatkan limbah kulit semangka menjadi pupuk organik, yang meningkatkan nilai tambah produk hingga 20% dibandingkan dengan menjual buah mentah. Kendala utama yang dihadapi adalah rendahnya literasi keuangan di awal kegiatan dan keterbatasan teknologi pengolahan yang dimiliki petani. Namun, pendampingan intensif berhasil meningkatkan kepercayaan diri petani dalam memanfaatkan teknologi sederhana dan berkelanjutan. Secara keseluruhan, program ini tidak hanya meningkatkan daya saing petani melalui akses permodalan dan inovasi produk, tetapi juga mendukung keberlanjutan lingkungan melalui pengelolaan limbah. Model pemberdayaan ini menawarkan pendekatan praktis yang dapat direplikasi di desa lain, dengan catatan perlunya penguatan literasi keuangan sejak tahap awal program.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan kapasitas masyarakat dalam pengelolaan sampah anorganik melalui pendekatan edukatif dan partisipatif berbasis inovasi daur ulang. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di lingkungan sekitar UPTD PST Kecamatan Pahandut dan Sebangau, Kota Palangka Raya, dengan melibatkan unsur masyarakat, mahasiswa, dan dosen. Metode mencakup sosialisasi mengenai dampak lingkungan dari sampah anorganik, pelatihan teknis pembuatan kerajinan dari limbah plastik, serta pendampingan intensif dalam pengembangan produk kreatif bernilai ekonomis. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam memilah serta mengolah sampah anorganik menjadi produk kerajinan, seperti bunga hias dari plastik bekas, yang memiliki potensi nilai jual. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan sampah berbasis partisipasi masyarakat dapat menjadi solusi yang efektif dan berkelanjutan dalam mengurangi beban lingkungan sekaligus membuka peluang ekonomi lokal. Simpulan dari kegiatan ini menegaskan bahwa kegiatan sosialisasi dengan praktek langsung yang bersifat edukatif mampu mendorong 70% perubahan perilaku terhadap pengelolaan sampah.
