Abstract

The issue of education is a complex matter as it involves the family, school, and society. The government implements the National Education System in accordance with Law No. 2 of 1989 and No. 20 of 2003. National education aims to enrich the nation's life and shape the character of children to be devout, morally upright, and knowledgeable individuals. One component within the education system is the process of education. To achieve favorable educational outcomes, it is essential to have a well-structured and directed educational process. Such a process can only be carried out effectively by dedicated education professionals or teachers who are genuinely proficient in their field. Teachers, who are the primary key to improving the quality of education, must be dependable professionals. Therefore, the quality of a teacher influences students' learning achievements. However, there are still several challenges encountered in the field, such as a lack of work discipline and insufficient teacher competence. This research aims to analyze these factors and their correlation in teacher professionalism at SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Lago. The findings of this study are expected to provide a better understanding of the correlation between work discipline, competence, and teacher professionalism. Additionally, it will offer recommendations and steps to enhance the quality of education in the school. ABSTRAKMasalah pendidikan merupakan masalah yang kompleks karena melibatkan keluarga, sekolah, dan masyarakat. Pemerintah menjalankan Sistem Pendidikan Nasional sesuai Undang-Undang No. 2 tahun 1989 dan No. 20 tahun 2003. Pendidikan nasional bertujuan mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa dan membentuk watak anak yang beriman, berakhlak mulia, dan berilmu. Salah satu komponen yang ada di dalam sistem pendidikan adalah proses pendidikan. Untuk mencapai hasil pendidikan yang baik harus melalui proses pendidikan yang baik dan terarah. Pendidikan yang baik dan terarah hanya mungkin dapat dilaksanakan oleh tenaga kependidikan atau guru yang benar-benar profesional di bidangnya. Guru yang merupakan kunci utama dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan harus menjadi profesional yang dapat diandalkan. Oleh karena itu kualitas seorang guru mempengaruhi prestasi belajar siswa. Namun masih terdapat beberapa kendala seperti kurangnya disiplin kerja dan kurangnya kompetensi guru yang ditemui di lapangan. Penelitian dimaksudkan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor tersebut dan hubungannya dengan tingkat profesionalisme guru di SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Lago. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang hubungan antara disiplin kerja dan kompetensi, dengan profesionalisme guru, serta memberikan rekomendasi dan langkah-langkah untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di sekolah.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the mathematical connection ability of the comparative material of junior high school students. This study uses a qualitative approach. Determination of the subject in this study using a purposive sampling technique. The subjects in this study were seventh-grade students of Al-Maghfiroh Junior High School. Data collection techniques in this study used tests and interviews. The results showed that the students' mathematical connection ability was classified as moderate with a percentage of 66.7%. In completing mathematical connections, accuracy is needed to solve mathematical connection problems according to indicators. it is expected to pay more attention to the difficulties experienced by students to improve their mathematical connection skills. Therefore, educators can introduce questions related to everyday life so that students can relate mathematical concepts to everyday life problems

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh rasa keprihatinan terhadap permasalahan yang sering muncul adalah kurangnya model pembelajaran yang digunakan pada saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Hal ini membuat siswa mengalami kecenderungan belajar yang pasif sehingga berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar dan prestasi belajar yang diperoleh masing-masing siswa. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut diperlukan cara efektif dalam memilih model pembelajaran seperti model pembelajaran Inquiry Based Learning. Model pembelajaran Inquiry mampu melatih siswa untuk dapat mengembangkan disiplin intelektual dan keterampilan berpikir dengan memunculkan pertanyaan-pertanyaan atas dasar rasa ingin tahu mereka sendiri sehingga mereka dapat menemukan jawaban-jawaban dari pertanyaan-pertanyaan tersebut.Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, maka dilakukan suatu penelitian untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar dengan model pembelajaran Inquiry Based Learning dalam proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran mata pelajaran Biologi di kelas XI IPA 4 di SMA Negeri 2 Cikarang Utara. Adapun instumen yang digunakan yaitu berupa test kognitif yang telah melalui tahapan judgement, validitas, realibiltas dengan mengacu pada tingkat kesukaran dan daya pembedanya. Dan hasil yang dicapai dari penelitian ini menunjukan suatu peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran Inquiry Based Learning.

Abstract

Abstract: 21st-century learning is closely related to the era of technological development of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. Learning using technology will help teachers explain learning material and also help students understand learning material. One of the technological developments in the world of education is the use of digital-based learning media. There are many types of digital-based learning media, one of which is electronic modules. This research aims to develop learning media in the form of electronic modules that are integrated with the syntax of the guided inquiry learning model and assisted by a virtual laboratory in its application. The development electronic module discusses thermodynamics material for class XI high school students. This research uses the ADDIE research method (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) which is limited to the Development stage. The development of electronic modules has been validated by media experts and material experts. The assessment carried out by media experts obtained scores of 82.67% and 88.00% with the title "Very Appropriate" to be used as a learning medium for thermodynamics material. The assessment carried out by material experts obtained scores of 89.33% and 93.33% with the title "Very Appropriate". This research can be developed to a trial stage with class XI high school students to see the influence or effectiveness of learning media on class XI high school students. Keywords: electronic module, guided inquiry, virtual laboratory, thermodynamics Abstrak: Pembelajaran abad 21 sangat berkaitan dengan era perkembangan teknologi revolusi industri 4.0. pembelajaran dengan menggunakan teknologi akan membantu guru dalam menjelaskan materi pembelajaran dan juga membantu siswa dalam memahami materi pembelajaran. Salah satu perkembangan teknologi dalam dunia Pendidikan adalah penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis digital. Jenis dari media pembelajaran berbasis digital sangatlah banyak, salah satunya adalah modul elektronik. Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa modul elektronik yang terintegrasi dengan sintaks model pembelajaran guided inquiry dan berbantuan laboratorium virtual dalam pengaplikasiannya. Modul elektronik pengembangan membahas materi termodinamika untuk kelas XI SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian ADDIE (Analyze, Desain, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) yang dibatasi sampai tahapan Pengembangan (Development). Modul elektronik pengembangan telah dilakukan uji validasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi. Penilaian yang dilakukan oleh ahli media didapatkan nilai sebesar 82,67% dan 88,00 % dengan predikat “Sangat Layak” untuk dijadikan media pembelajaran materi termodinamika. Penilaian yang dilakukan oleh ahli materi didapatkan nilai sebesar 89,33% dan 93,33% dengan predikat “Sangat Layak”. Penelitian ini dapat dikembangkan kembali ke tahap uji coba kepada siswa kelas XI SMA untuk melihat pengaruh atau efektivitas media pembelajaran terhadap siswa kelas XI SMA. Kata Kunci: Modul elektronik, guided inquiry, laboratorium virtual, termodinamika

Abstract

This research was motivated by students' perception that Science lessons are difficult to understand and boring due to the one-way teaching method, which has led to a decline in student interest and learning outcomes. The purpose of this research was to increase the interest and learning outcomes of ninth-grade students in class 9.3 at SMP Negeri 2 Cisauk. The research method used was Classroom Action Research. Data collection techniques involved quantitative data from learning outcomes and qualitative data through analyzing interest questionnaire sheets. The results show an increase in students' learning interest and outcomes. The percentage of students' interest in learning before and after the intervention increased from 54,5% to 93,9%. The average learning outcomes of students increased from 62,5 to 79,3. This research shows that inquiry-based interactive games on the Human Reproductive System material led to an increase in students' interest and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai self-efficay siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft Mathematics. Rendahnya self-efficacy siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika merupakan masalah yang melatarbelakangi penulisan artikel ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi Microsoft Mathematics terhadap self-efficacy siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP yang terdiri dari dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket self-efficacy dan tes prestasi matematika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara self-efficacy siswa pada kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Siswa yang menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft Mathematics menunjukkan peningkatan self-efficacy yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Artinya siswa cenderung memiliki self-efficacy atau keyakinan diri yang cukup tinggi dalam pembelajaran matematika menggunakan Microsoft Mathematics. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan aplikasi Microsoft Mathematics dapat meningkatkan self-efficacy siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Studi ini memberikan implikasi praktis yang dapat membantu guru dan pengembang aplikasi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the influence of the structured assignment method on the mastery of concepts and mathematical problem-solving skills. The method used is an experimental method with the analysis technique used is Manova One Path. The sample in this study is a sample of 72 students at State Junior High Schools in the city of Tangerang. From the results of the analysis, it was obtained: (1) there was an influence of the structured assignment method on the mastery of the concept and the ability to solve mathematical problems in a multivariate manner as evidenced by the value of sig = 0.000 < 0.05 (2) there was an influence of the structured assignment method on the mastery of mathematical concepts univariate as evidenced by the value of sig = 0.006 < 0.05 (3) there was an influence of the structured assignment method on the ability to solve mathematical problems with It is proven that sig = 0.002 < 0.05. To improve the mastery of mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills, teachers should not only use conventional or teacher-centered learning methods but are expected to be able to use learning models that involve students actively learning, including assignment methods that can involve students actively in meaningful learning activities through problem-solving.
