Abstract

Semakin bertambahnya jumlah pesawat yang ada dibandara maka semakin diperlukan alat pendeteksi keberadaan pesawat atau benda yang ada diangkasa. Alat pendeteksi yang dimaksud merupakan Radar. Radar bisa “mendeteksi” benda yang berada di area jangkauan radar sekaligus menentukan jarak dan arah dari benda yang dideteksi. Tujuan perancangan radar pendeteksi objek adalah untuk mendeteksi benda secara visual berbentuk radar beserta jarak dan sudut dari sensor yang mendeteksi benda. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jarak dapat diperoleh dari penggunaan sensor ultrasonik. Radar pendeteksi objek ini dapat mendeteksi benda pada jarak 5 hingga 250 cm. Sudut ditentukan oleh rotasi motor servo yang berotasi pada sudut 0°-180°. Motor servo berotasi bolak-balik secara terus menerus dan membentuk visualisasi dalam bentuk radar yang ditampilkan di layar PC.

Abstract

Instrument Landing System (ILS), yaitu alat bantu dengan mengirimkan infomasi melalui frekuensi radio, seperti informasi mengenai Localizer, Glide Slope, Marker Beacon. Dalam berbagai kegiatan praktikum di hangar penulis melihat kurangnya alat peraga marker beacon sebagai media pembelajaran. Rancangan alat ini menggunakan komponen sensor Hc-Sr04 yang disambungkan dengan lampu dan buzzer sebagai indicator apakah dalam kondisi outer, middle, inner. Dalam pembuatan alat ini menggunakan arduino sebagai microcontroller. Hasil pengujian dari rancangan alat ini yaitu apabila sensor HC-SR04 mendeteksi adanya pesawat maka indicator LED dan buzzer akan menyala secara bersamaan yang menandakan posisi dari pesawat.

Abstract

Transfer of responsibility control between Pangkalan Bun Approach and Banjarmasin Flight Service Station is not optimal for aircraft flying at altitudes below 4000 feet. Due to the radio communication range between the aircraft and the Banjarmasin FSS unit. The problem formulation of this research is "What is the responsibility of air space from the movement of aircraft in the Pangkalan Bun Control Zone (CTR) to the Banjarmasin FSS airspace?". This study aims to find out the procedures for air traffic services in the Pangkalan Bun TMA area in accordance with existing procedures and to optimize the facilities of related units to be better to support security and safety in air traffic services. The research method used in writing uses a qualitative descriptive method. The population in this study were all personnel of the Air Traffic Controller Office of Perum LPPNPI Sub-Branch of Pangkalan Bun. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Based on the data and the results of the discussion, it can be concluded that the range owned by the Banjarmasin FSS unit is a factor that causes aircraft with a cruising altitude below 4000 feet to be unable to carry out two-way communication.

Abstract

There are two kinds of communication systems in air traffic control named ground-to-ground communication system and air-to-ground flight communication system. The ground-to-ground communication system is used by ATC (Air Traffic Controller) officers with pilots when moving on the ground and communication between the airports. For safety purposes, any aircraft movements in the Movement Area are carried out by the pilot under the ATC (Air Traffic Controller) order from the control tower. Therefore, equipment is needed to communicate between the ATC (Air Traffic Controller) and the pilot. The problem reviewed in this final project is that coordination between Aviation Polytechnic of Indonesia Curug and Budiarto Air Traffic Services itself which has an impact on flight safety at Budiarto Airport. The purpose of this final project is to fulfill one of the graduation requirements to get an Associate Expert (AMD) degree in the Air Traffic Diploma 3 program at the Aviation Polytechnic of Surabaya and aim to provide insight as reference material for further researchers at the Surabaya Aviation Polytechnic and to find out the results of this research which is the problem of implementing ground-to-ground coordination for flight safety at Budiarto Airport. In this review, the samples are air traffic controller personnel who worked at the Budiarto aerodrome control tower unit and personnel of Aviation Polytechnic which is located at Budiarto Airport. The variable reviewed is variable (X), which is the coordination between Budiarto Air Traffic Services and the Aviation Polytechnic of Indonesia Curug. The data collection method that used is observation, quisioner, interviews and documentation. The data analysis method used is descriptive qualitative.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of understanding the cockpit procedure on emergency and abnormal situational awareness for procedural approach control guide personnel in Kupang approach control unit, in order to be able to maintain or improve their performance in providing air traffic control services in accordance with the recommendations set by the International Civil Aviation. Organization (ICAO). Perum LPPNPI Kupang Branch provides approach control services in a procedural manner by having an increasing amount of traffic every year and having international flights. This condition makes the potential for emergency and abnormal situations at Perum LPPNPI Kupang Branch to increase, so ATC personnel must be ready to assist pilots in dealing with emergency and abnormal situations. Especially in dealing with emergencies that occurred on the SJY-182 aircraft at Perum LPPNPI Soekarno-Hatta Jakarta Branch, this did not happen at Perum LPPNPI Kupang Branch.

Abstract

Batam Hang Nadim International Airport is an airport that has the longest runway in Indonesia, which is 4025 m long and 45 m wide. Batam Hang Nadim International Airport has approximately 110 aircraft movements per day. With the large number of aircraft movements, in terms of air traffic services, it is required to be able to provide maximum service so as to create a smooth flow of air traffic. However, this has not been maximized because the transfer of control of arrival aircraft from Tanjung Pinang Approach to Hang Nadim Tower is not in a definite position and can cause ambiguity when coordinating. The theories supporting this research include ICAO Annex 11, ICAO Chapter 6 point 6.5 (Procedures for Arriving Aircraft), CASR 170 PM 65 of 2017 (Air Traffic Rules), ICAO DOC. 4444 (Air Traffic Management), KP 41 of 2020, LOCA Batam and Tanjung Pinang. Data was collected by means of observation, questionnaires, and literature study. The results show that the Transfer of Control of arrival aircraft from Tanjung Pinang Approach to Hang Nadim Tower is less efficient. A review is needed in the TOC of arrival aircraft and the naming of IAF points in the IAC which can facilitate the transfer of arrival aircraft and at a definite point.

Abstract

Paper Flight Progress Strip is a small piece of paper where an Air Traffic Controller records important data obtained from the pilot during the flight. Important data recorded in FPS paper include: callsign, aircraft type, from / purpose, height of roaming and other important data. Along with the advancement of technology, electronic flight progress strip / e-strip appears appears to replace the Paper Strip position. Perum LPPNPI Kantor Cabang Kupang is one of the airports used as an e-strip application. The e-strip system is currently operated through a computer and accessed via Google Chrome this causes the e-strip system to still have to be reset within a certain period of time to avoid longer loading computer and internet networks. The absence of legality and regulation related to e-strips makes the e-strip can not be used formally so that the Loca (Letter of Operational Coordination Agreement) e-strip cannot also be made. The application of e-strip is found on the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) recommendation in the Asia Pacific Seamless ATM Plan document V2.0 2016 Chapter 5 points 73, "Switching from paper to electronics connected to the FDPS system or directly inputting data to ASD supports changes this. The use of the Flight Progress Strip paper can increase transcript errors / data mismatches. " The research method used by the author is descriptive qualitative The study concluded that there was a positive relationship between Electronic Flight Progress Strip (e-strip) in the performance of the water traffic controller coefficient of determination of 55%, meaning that the electronic flight progress strip optimization (e-strip) in the performance of the Air Traffic Controller Perum LPPNPI Kantor Cabang Kupang It is 55 %% and the remaining 45% are determined by other factors in this case not researched by the author.

Abstract

Pendidikan di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan danketerampilan siswa dalam rangka menyiapkan mereka ebagai tenaga kerja tingkat menengah. SekolahMenengah Kejuruan (SMK) sebagai salah satu lembaga pendidikan yang mempunyai misi menyiapkantenaga kerja tingkat menengah yang mampu mengisi lapangan kerja dan berkualitas profesionaldiharapkan mampu berperan sebagai alat unggulan bagi industri-industri Indonesia dalammenghadapi persaingan global. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat iniadalah pelatihan langsung kepada siswa-siswi SMK Penerbangan kelas XI dalam bentuk praktiklangsung baik secara lisan maupun tertulis. Pelatihan penggunaan Bahasa Inggris ini berlangsungselama 2 hari penuh dan dilakukan dalam 3 tahap. 1. Pertama, pengenalan (introduction) yangkemudian dilanjutkan dengan paparan teori (theoretical review). 2. Kedua, penjelasan dan pemberiancontoh/model komunikasi Bahasa Inggris tentang penerbangan yang diikuti dengan kegiatan tanyajawab secara interaktif. 3. ketiga, siswa-siswi melaksanakan praktik secara berkelompok, role play,demonstrasi, dan simulasi sesuai arahan dari tim pengabdian Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabianmasyarakat ini adalah Untuk memberikan Value Added (nilai tambah) terkait kemampuan Bahasainggris siswa SMK Penerbangan1. Manfaat bagi peyelenggara pengabdian masyarakat “English is Fun”Manfaat bagi para dosen yakni dapat berkontribusi positip dalam proses peningkatan kemampuanBahasa inggris bagi para siswa SMK Penerbangan sehingga memiliki skill tambahan sebagai modalmemasuki dunia kerja 2. Manfaat bagi siswa SMK Penerbangan Manfaat bagi siswa SMK Penerbanganyakni mendapatkan pengalaman baru dalam meningkatkan kemampuan Bahasa inggris sehingga siapmemasuki dunia kerja.

Abstract

Abstrak Pendidikan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) bertujuan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa serta mempersiapkan mereka sebagai sumber daya manusia yang berintelektual, berwawasan umum, dan berkemampuan secara mendalam, oleh karena itu lulusan SMK seharusnya melanjutkan ke jenjang pendidikan selanjutnya. SMK Islam Sunan Kalijaga memiliki siswa sejumlah 62 siswa dan beberapa jurusan pendidikan yang mana pada setiap jurusannya pasti ada tantangan dan risiko, yang terkait dengan keselamatan kerja, dan apabila tidak ditangani dengan baik, maka dapat berdampak negatif terhadap kesehatan dan kesejahteraan siswa, baik selama masa pendidikan maupun di tempat kerja kelak. Terkait hal tersebut memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang K3 kepada siswa di masing-masing jurusan. Sosialisasi dasar tentang K3 diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran dan pengetahuan siswa, sehingga mereka tidak hanya siap menghadapi tantangan di lingkungan kerja masing-masing, tetapi juga mampu mengadopsi kebiasaan kerja yang aman dan sehat sejak dini. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini juga memiliki tujuan untuk memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap peningkatan kualitas hidup siswa, baik dari segi kesehatan, keamanan, maupun perilaku sosial yang lebih bertanggung jawab. Melalui pendidikan K3, siswa akan dibekali dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang dapat melindungi mereka dari risiko kecelakaan dan penyakit akibat kerja, sehingga mereka dapat bekerja dengan lebih produktif dan efisien. Hasil penelitian pada sosialisasi ini dapat dibuktikan dengan adanya kuesioner rata-rata responden menjawab bahwa kegiatan PkM ini Sangat Baik, dapat dilihat pada presentase menunjukkan 77%. Dengan adanya hasil tersebut peserta pelatihan mengharapkan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat agar terus diadakan secara konsisten setiap tahunnya dan lebih banyak pelatihan yang diadakan untuk program pengabdian kepada masyarakat.
