Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance farmers' understanding and skills in adopting green finance and sustainable marketing strategies to support sustainable agricultural practices at BB Integrated Farming, Silo District, Jember Regency. The program involves a series of training sessions, mentoring, and interactive discussions designed to equip farmers with the knowledge and tools necessary for managing green finance, developing sustainable marketing strategies, and understanding market dynamics. The results of this activity show a significant increase in farmers' understanding and skills, evidenced by better post-test results compared to pre-test scores. Farmers are now able to adopt environmentally friendly practices, access sustainable financing, and implement effective marketing strategies. This program not only contributes to improving the environmental and economic performance of farmers but also supports local and global food security by promoting more productive and sustainable agricultural practices.

Abstract

The Quick Response Team (TRC) of BPBD Jember plays an important role in disaster management. Among their emergency response activities are the mobilization of personnel for victim assistance and the distribution of aid to disaster victims. The nature of TRC's work demands both physical and mental effort. This poses a risk of work fatigue, one manifestation of which is microsleep, which can lead to traffic accidents as experienced by the TRC in 2019. The objective of this community service activity is to implement artificial intelligence that can monitor driver activity to reduce the risk of traffic accidents. The method of this service activity involves the installation of a sleepiness early warning system (EWS) in TRC BPBD Jember vehicles. The device is mounted on the dashboard, facing the driver, and powered by a 12-volt car battery. Based on interviews, the implementation of the sleepiness EWS in the operational vehicles of TRC BPBD Jember has been able to enhance driving safety by providing warnings to drivers when they begin to lose concentration, whether due to fatigue or distractions. Although there were challenges in implementing the device, such as slow response time and limited detection range, the community service team overcame these issues by recalibrating the device's response time and selecting drivers with similar anthropometric measurements to avoid the need for frequent adjustments when changing drivers.

Abstract

Stunting prevention developing high-protein complementary foods (MP-ASI) and other nutrients needed by children for optimal growth and providing health education. PROTIAS is a high-protein MP-ASI based on Polije healthy rice flour combined with catfish meat flour. Community service activities are carried out by providing training to posyandu cadres on making PROTIAS MPASI made from rice flour combined with catfish meat flour as a healthy menu MPASI in the Puskemas Sukorambi working area, Jember. The activity was carried out in October 2024, located at the Dukuh Mencek Village Office, Sukorambi District, Jember. The training on making PROTIAS MP-ASI was carried out using a demonstration method related to how to make and process MP-ASI based on Polije healthy rice flour combined with catfish meat flour. The training activities were guided by lecturers, and involved technicians and students. Through this community service activity, it is expected to improve the knowledge and skills of posyandu cadres in assisting stunted toddlers. In addition, it is hoped that posyandu cadres can also utilize relatively cheap but highly nutritious local materials as MP ASI ingredients for stunted toddler.

Abstract

Information regarding marketing distribution data plays a crucial role for business actors in formulating their future business strategies. Marketing distribution data enables companies to perform market segmentation more accurately. By understanding the characteristics and preferences of consumers in each segment, companies can tailor their products and marketing messages to meet specific consumer needs. MetaPolije serves as an alternative solution for mapping marketing distribution data. MetaPolije is a web-based platform designed to facilitate user access. It was developed using the Scrum software development method, which consists of four main phases: planning, sprint, sprint review, and sprint retrospective. MetaPolije provides information about the profiles of objects in a given area, along with comprehensive demographic data for that area. The data visualization displays maps down to the sub-district level, which is customized according to partner requests. Similarly, the various categories of objects shown can be adjusted based on user partner requirements. The demographic data displayed comes from the Sidoarjo Regency Statistics Agency (BPS). Therefore, whenever the Sidoarjo Regency BPS releases the latest population data, the MetaPolije platform updated also. The information presented on the MetaPolije platform can be utilized by policymakers to better understand consumers and for crafting marketing strategies that are more suitable and relevant based on existing data. By utilizing MetaPolije, businesspeople gained better data visualization regarding the types of businesses currently present in a particular area. With the support of available demographic data, it can assist in making subsequent decisions related to appropriate business development policies moving forward.

Abstract

Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) have a strategic role in managing food security funds sourced from the Village Fund, particularly in supporting agricultural inputs, local farming, and community food resilience programs. Despite this potential, financial management in many BUMDes remains manual, making it vulnerable to errors and a lack of transparency. This study investigates how the use of Excel-based accounting, as a simple and low-cost digital tool, enhances the accountability of BUMDes in managing food security program funds. The research employs a qualitative case study design focused on BUMDes Mandiri in Suci Village, Panti Subdistrict, Jember Regency. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with BUMDes managers, review of financial documents, and field observations. The findings indicate that Excel-based accounting improves the standardization of financial records and increases transparency by producing reports that stakeholders, including village officials and local communities, can more easily understand. However, challenges remain, particularly limited human resources and insufficient skills in operating advanced Excel functions. This study contributes to the literature on public sector accounting by highlighting the role of simple digital solutions in strengthening accountability at the village level. Practically, the results emphasize the importance of capacity building and digital literacy programs to support sustainable financial governance in BUMDes. Moreover, the study provides policy implications for enhancing the governance of Village Fund in alignment with Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 2: Zero Hunger and SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth).

Abstract

Pogram iniĀ  bertujuan untuk mengatasi tantangan utama yang dihadapi oleh UMKM Trend Salon Dito, yaitu minimnya struktur pencatatan keuangan dan belum optimalnya pemanfaatan digital untuk pemasaran. UMKM ini berlokasi di JL Gajah Mada IV No 9, RT.03 RW.021, Kampung Kebon, Jember Kidul Kecamatan Kaliwates Kabupaten Jember, Kabupaten Jember, dan bergerak di bidang jasa salon. Metode palaksanaan Program mulai Survei lokasi dan koordinasi mitra pelaksanaan Program, Sosialisasi Praktik Pengelolaan Keuangan dalam Pemasaran Berkelanjutan, Pelatihan Praktik Manajemen Keuangan dalam Pemasaran Berkelanjutan, Monitoring dan evaluasi penggunaan prakik pertanian berkelanjutan. Hasil ini ditunjukkan dengan kemampuan mitra dalam menyusun Laporan Laba Rugi dan Laporan Arus Kas bulanan secara mandiri, menggantukan sistem pencatatan manual yang rentan terhadap kesalahan. Kemampuan ini menjadi landasan kuat bagi pemilik usaha untuk mengambil keputusan uang lebih informatif dan terukur. Dampak dari pelatihan ini terlihat langsung pada peningkatan aktivitas digital UMKM. Sebelum pelatihan, unggahan konten yang lebih profesional, informatif dan konsisten, berfokus pada portofolio hasil kerja dan promo musiman. Secara keseluruhan, pelatihan ini berhasil mencapai tujuan untuk meningkatkankapasitas operasional dan daya saing UMKM Trend Salon Dito. Keberhasilan mitra dalam mengadopsii dan melakukan praktik penyusunan laporan keuangan dengan Microsoft Excel dan implementasi strategi digital marketing menjadi indikator utama keberhasilan program ini.

Abstract

Prosedur perpajakan sering dianggap rumit, memerlukan banyak dokumen, dan membutuhkan pemahaman yang kuat tentang aturan yang berubah-ubah. Kondisi ini menyebabkan wajib pajak di kampus dan masyarakat sekitar mengalami kesulitan dalam mengakses informasi, melakukan perhitungan pajak, dan melaporkan kewajiban pajak mereka secara mandiri. Website perpajakan dibutuhkan untuk menjadi sarana layanan yang terintegrasi, informatif, dan mudah diakses kapan saja. Namun, pengembangan website perpajakan tidak hanya menekankan aspek teknologi, tetapi juga harus dapat membantu pengguna mencapai tujuannya. Goal-Directed Design (GDD) menekankan pemahaman mendalam tentang tujuan pengguna sehingga solusi yang dibangun tidak hanya memenuhi tugas administratif tetapi juga memahami tujuan, perilaku, dan kebutuhan pengguna. Melalui tahapan pengumpulan data pengguna, penyusunan persona, analisis skenario, hingga perancangan alur interaksi, GDD membantu menghasilkan desain yang berorientasi pada tujuan utama pengguna. Hasilnya didapatkan nilai 90,38% dengan System Usability Scale menunjukkan bahwa antar muka yang dibuat memiliki tingkat usability yang sangat baik yang disebut dengan excellent.

Abstract

This study discusses the fragmentation of management in the agriculture, livestock, and fisheries sectors in BUMDes, which has the potential to cause cost inefficiencies and lack of productivity. This study presents an integrated financial management model for BUMDes across sectors. The research method uses a qualitative approach, with data obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. This research began with an analysis of the problems faced by BUMDes Suci in managing its business units. It also examined how Agro Techno Park Accounting 5.0 could be applied to produce an integrated accounting model that supports its financial management. The advantages of the integrated farming model are cost efficiency in production, optimization of local resources, increased productivity, and the potential for developing agro-based educational tourism.
