Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar belakang: Aktivitas fisik diperlukan untuk mendapatkan kebugaran jasmani yang salah satunya adalah keseimbangan. Keseimbangan statis adalah bentuk keseimbangan saat posisi tubuh tetap. Hal ini perlu dipertahankan dan ditingkatkan agar menjaga kualitas hidup dan menjalankan aktivitas dengan baik. Salah satu aktivitas fisik yang dapat menjaga keseimbangan adalah Yoga Suryanamaskara. Tujuan: membuktikan latihan Yoga Suryanamaskara dapat meningkatkan keseimbangan statis remaja di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 1 Semarapura. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Eksperimental dengan subjek penelitian kelompok kontrol dan perlakuan remaja usia 15-18 tahun, siswi SMA Negeri 1 Semarapura, Kabupaten Klungkung. Sampel dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling. Yoga Suryanamaskara dilakukan pada bulan Agustus-September 2020. Keseimbangan statis diukur dengan metode Blind Stork Balance Test. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon dan Independent Samples t-test. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan nilai p=0,012 (p<0,05) yang menunjukkan latihan Yoga Suryanamaskara meningkatkan keseimbangan statis remaja di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 1 Semarapura dengan signifikan. Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, didapatkan hasil bahwa latihan Yoga Suryanamaskara selama 1 jam, 2 kali seminggu, selama 6 minggu terbukti meningkatkan keseimbangan statis yang signifikan pada remaja usia 15-18 tahun di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 1 Semarapura. Abstract

Jaja sengait adalah jajan yang berbahan baku ubi jalar dan diolah menggunakan gula merah. Pekerja memotong ubi jalar menggunakan mesin dengan bantuan tenaga otot dengan posisi kerja statis ± 2 jam serta waktu kerja yang cukup lama ± 8 jam dengan melakukan proses produksi yaitu mencetak jajan dalam keadaan panas. Kondisi tersebut tanpa disadari dapat membentuk budaya kerja yang kurang sehat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengaplikasikan dan membuktikan bahwa pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui Ergo-entrepreneurship dapat mengurangi kelelahan serta meningkatkan motivasi kerja dan produktivitas. Penelitian ini adalah eksperimental semu (quasi experimental) dengan model rancangan sama subjek (treatment by subject design) serta pola pre and posttest group design, penilaian dilakukan dengan dilakukan penilaian berupa: (a) kuesioner 30 Items of Rating Scale untuk mengetahui indikator kelelahan; (b) kuesioner motivasi kerja digunakan untuk mendata indikator motivasi kerja; serta (c) produk jaja sengait yang dihasilkan selama bekerja dibagi dengan denyut nadi dan dikalikan dengan waktu kerja. Pendataan dilakukan pada periode I dan II yaitu sebelum dan sesudah kerja dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 15 sampel. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan uji t-paired pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui Ergo-entrepreneurship mengurangi kelelahan sebesar 24,62%, meningkatkan motivasi kerja sebesar 63,23%, dan meningkatkan produktivitas sebesar 61,58%. Simpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui Ergo-entrepreneurship dapat mengurangi kelelahan dan meningkatkan motivasi kerja serta produktivitas pembuat jaja sengait.

Abstract

Background: Since the emergence of COVID-19 in 2019, Indonesia’s COVID-19 Task Force has implemented distance or online learning in educational sectors, especially in Java and Bali. In its implementation, a certain number of medical students developed a tendency to prefer online learning compared to face-to-face learning without completely understanding its risks. Other factors such as financial barriers, social isolation, limitation of physical activity, change of diet, and anxiety-prone tendencies in COVID-19 pandemic, not much further research has been carried out. This study aims to determine whether medical students’ stress can be aggravated by several factors, namely online learning, financial barriers, social isolation, limitation of physical activity, change of diet, and anxiety-prone tendencies in order to obtain information whether online learning can be applied, even when the pandemic is over.Methods: Research design used a quantitative approach. Data collection was performed through online questionnaires distributed to 238 medical students selected using simplified random sampling. Data was analysed descriptively and inferentially. Inferential analysis used T-Test and ANOVA Test.Results: Online learning, financial barriers, social isolation, limitation of physical activity, change of diet, and anxiety-prone tendencies independently and cumulatively elevate medical students’ stress. Cumulatively, independent factors mentioned above have 85% effect in aggravating of medical students’ stress.Conclusion: Online learning application has to be reconsidered due to additional stress implicated to medical students. In addition, financial barriers, social isolation, limitation of physical activity, change of diet, and anxiety-prone tendencies are important factors in aggravating medical students’ stress.

Abstract

Agricultural activities such as hoeing, cleaning grass, and fertilizing are activities that affect the work attitude of farmers. The intervention was in the form of giving Stretching Exercises with an ergonomics-based health education approach. This study aims to determine the provision of Stretching Exercises with an ergonomics-based health education approach to reduce musculoskeletal complaints and fatigue in citrus farmers in Bayunggede village. This research is an experimental study, using the same subject design with a pattern (Treatment by subject Design). This study involved 13 research samples selected at simple random. Musculoskeletal complaints were measured using a Nordic Body Map questionnaire on 4 Likert scales, work fatigue was measured using a 30-item rating scale. Measurements were taken before and after work in Period 1 and Period 2 for 3 weeks. Analysis of the data obtained begins with descriptive analysis and normality test of data with Shapiro-Wilk. Furthermore, the data with normal distribution were analyzed using paired t-test at a significance level of 5%. The results showed a significant difference (p<0.05) in musculoskeletal complaints and fatigue in Period I and Period II. By doing Stretching Exercises with an ergonomics-based health education approach, it can reduce musculoskeletal complaints by 29.53% and work fatigue by 26.97%. It can be concluded that there is a decrease in musculoskeletal complaints and work fatigue after doing Stretching Exercises with an ergonomics-based health education approach. Thus, it can be suggested to citrus farmers to manage time and work breaks well and regularly stretch.
