Abstract

A village's social resilience can be seen from the Social Resilience Index as measured by the Village Development Index. This study aims to analyze how much is the contribution measurement dimensions of the Social Resilience Index on the Value of the Social Resilience Index of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in 2020 and to determine policies to increase social resilience in the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands. Data analysis uses descriptive analysis with a quantitative approach that uses the twoway ANOVA method, linear regression analysis, SWOT analysis, and strategy evaluation. Primary data was obtained from the Village Development Index measurements for 2018-2020, RPJMD 2017-2022, and RKPD in 2020 for the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands and supported by the results of interviews with stakeholders.. The results showed that East Belitung Regency had the highest Social Resilience Index during the 2018-2020 period compared to other districts/provinces. The compiler of the Social Resilience Index which consists of 4 (four) dimensions either jointly or partially contributethe Social Resilience Index and social capital is the dimension with the largest contribution (40.82%). The policy to increase social resilience in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province prioritizes the aid budget at locus/village which allocates the budget for the maintenance of infrastructure assistance, development, and supervision of social assistance. Further research is needed to determine the contribution of implementing these policies on increasing social security in the following year.

Abstract

Social conflicts always occur because of interests in people's lives. Likewise, what happens to coastal communities as a result of negative excesses in carrying out mining activities, so that this environmental condition is not managed wisely and can cause conflicts that are detrimental to the parties concerned. This writing aims to analyze and examine the application of social capital as a policy in resolving conflicts. The qualitative descriptive method examines some literature related to the handling of social conflicts, one of which is developing the existing social capital in society. Reference to social capital developed by the government through the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia as a policy for resolving social conflicts, with the assumption that social capital can generate collective consensus in society to answer problems that lead to social conflict. The conclusion of this conclusion shows that the development of social capital through social harmony programs is functionally not fully utilized, because of the various connecting services. So we need the right solutions and strategies in developing these policies.

Abstract

Kondisi pelayanan kepada penumpang bukan di terminal melainkan di gudang, penggabungan dua kegiatan menimbulkan kepadatan, tidak lengkapnya fasilitas berupa loket tiket, pemeriksaan, check in, dan fasilitas untuk penumpang menginap. Metode atau proses perancangan dimulai dengan mencari data primer dan sekunder untuk dilakukan analisa dan menghasilkan konsep rancangan berupa konsep tapak, bentuk, ruang, struktur, dan utilitas serta terakhir menghasilkan gambar rancangan. Penerapan konsep rancangan seperti memisahkan dua fungsi kegiatan melalui pemisahan massa bangunan, secara kontemporer penerapan terlihat pada bentuk untuk mencapai wujud yang ikonik diantaranya ekspresif (penataan massa yang tidak asimetris dan mengekspos struktur bangunan), dinamis (membuat sudut tumpul atau rounded), fasad transparant (lapisan fasad dengan material kaca), dan penambahan terkait sarana prasarana yaitu loket tiket, check in, penginapan murah atau hostel, pemeriksaan barang dan tiket.

Abstract

PDFKegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat oleh Program Studi Teknik Sipil Fakultas Teknik Universitas Achmad Yani Banjarmasin di Kelompok Bermain (KB) Kasih Bunda Desa Cahaya Baru yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret – April 2024. Sasaran dari pekerjaan ini adalah melaksanakan pekerjaan Peningkatan Halaman dan Pagar KB Kasih Bunda Desa Cahaya Baru. Kerjasama yang positif antara Pihak Mitra (Pemerintah Desa Cahaya Baru) dan Tim Pendamping dalam proyek peningkatan halaman dan pagar KB ditunjukkan dengan kepatuhan terhadap arahan pendampingan dan konsultasi yang terus-menerus memainkan peran penting dalam menjamin keberhasilan dan kualitas pekerjaan teknis yang dilakukan. Hal ini menunjukkan komitmen bersama untuk mencapai tujuan proyek secara efektif dan efisien. Saran yang diberikan pada kegiatan ini antara lain : perlu melakukan perawatan rutin seperti pemangkasan tanaman, pengecatan ulang pagar, dan membersihkan area halaman secara berkala; serta perlu memperhatikan kondisi pagar dan lakukan perbaikan jika diperlukan untuk menjaga kekokohan dan keamanannya.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to enhance student's environmental awareness, particularly regarding river ecology, through an experiential learning approach. The primary activity in this research is a field visit by students to the Karangmumus River School, allowing them to compare theoretical knowledge learned in class with real-world conditions. Method: The study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data was collected through observations, interviews, and student reflections after the field visit. Practical Application: The findings reveal that the visit significantly improved students' understanding of river conservation and the impact of human activities on river ecosystems. Furthermore, the activity motivated students to contribute to environmental preservation efforts. Thus, integrating classroom theory with field experiences effectively fostered environmental awareness among students. Conclusion: This study shows that experiential learning through field visits to the Karangmumus River School significantly increases students' awareness of river ecology and environmental conservation.

Abstract

Penanganan kawasan kumuh merupakan salah satu prioritas nasional yang diamanatkan dalam UU No. 1 Tahun 2011 dan PP No. 14 Tahun 2016 tentang Penyelenggaraan Perumahan dan Kawasan Permukiman serta RPJMN Tahun 2020-2024, dalam penanganan kawasan kumuh perlu adanya peningkatan kualitas bangunan, jalan, drainase, sanitasi. Perkerasan paving block adalah konstruksi perkerasan lentur yang menjadikan paving block pada Kelurahan Landasan Ulin Selatan sebagai bahan lapis permukaan, sedangkan lapisan pondasi (base dan subbase) memiliki persyaratan dan fungsi yang sama dengan perkerasan lentur jalan lainnya. Dana yang dibutuhkan dalam pembangunan jalan paving block Gang Keruing IV dan Gang Meranti IV tersebut sebesar Rp 198.747.000.

Abstract

Sustainable rural infrastructure development plays a crucial role in improving the quality of life, particularly in supporting religious education facilities. This community service program was carried out at Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an (TPA) Al-Huda in Amawang Kanan Village with the main objective of enhancing accessibility and environmental comfort through the installation of paving blocks. The method employed was a participatory and collaborative approach based on local needs, actively involving community members in planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. The results demonstrate that the paving block installation significantly improved the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of the TPA environment, especially during the rainy season. Beyond physical improvements, this program also fostered public awareness regarding the importance of environmentally friendly and sustainable infrastructure. The initiative exemplifies how the integration of technical, social, and educational approaches can effectively address local infrastructure issues while strengthening synergy between academia and the community.
