Abstract

The need for a system that can visualize data to support the decision making process is increasingly needed. This paper produces applications that can visualize data with an executive information system approach related to beef stock in Java with drilldown features and what-if analysis. The methodology we use is the SIE approach with graphs that can do drilldown and what-if analysis programs regarding cattle population calculations based on beef stock data.

Abstract

Every agency or company needs to adapt to information technology so that it can provide opportunities to increase its competitive advantage in the future. The use of technology has an impact on the activities of an agency or company, including executive information systems. The Library Executive Information System for UPA Perpustakaan Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jawa Timur is expected to be able to overcome existing problems. It is hoped that the construction of this system will be able to assist library executives in carrying out analysis and making decisions to improve library progress. This research implements the waterfall model system development method. System modeling is carried out using an object-oriented approach using UML. In this research, the system was built using the PHP programming language with the Codeigniter framework and testing used the black-box testing method. The output produced in this research is a web-based Library Executive Information System for the UPA Perpustakaan Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jawa Timur with drilldown and what-if analysis features. The features are as follows, drilldown is a feature to facilitate the classification of information to a more detailed level utilizing data on visits, loan transactions, returns and extensions, while what-if analysis is an uncertainty simulation that can calculate book borrowings in a certain year period as a consideration for additional copies of books.

Abstract

The assessment of information technology governance is a crucial aspect of managing IT resources to align the implementation of information technology with business operations and corporate objectives. At PT Petrokimia Gresik, IT governance assessment is still carried out using conventional methods. Therefore, this research aims to design and develop a Self-Assessment Information Technology Governance System at PT Petrokimia Gresik. This research begins with user interviews and a literature review from various sources such as journals, reference documents, and COBIT 2019 books. The system development is conducted using the SCRUM method to produce a system that meets user requirements. In the SCRUM method, there are four main activities: sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review, and sprint retrospective. This information system was successfully developed using the Laravel framework, which proved to streamline web application development. The implication of this research is the creation of a Self-Assessment Information Technology Governance System. Based on the results of user acceptance testing, the system produced has been well-received and meets user needs.

Abstract

Pengembangan perangkat lunak salah satu bentuk digitalitasi yang dilakukan oleh organisasi dalam menjalankan proses bisnisnya. Tetapi diperlukannya evaluasi tingkat kematangan sebagai titik awal untuk mengetahui nilai strategi, dan analisa tingkat kematangan untuk melihat kualitas performa pengembangan perangkat lunak yang mendukung kebutuhan organisasi di masa yang akan datang. salah satu evaluasinya adalah menggunakan CMMI. CMMI adalah kerangka kerja yang berfokus pada penyesuaian untuk mengevaluasi proses pengembangan dan menghasilkan perangkat lunak yang berkualitas. Hal ini dikarenakan CMMI terdiri dari panduan Best Practices untuk peningkatan proses pengembangan perangkat lunak. CMMI banyak digunakan dari berbagai bidang, karena CMMI mengandung praktik ang mengatasi manajemen proyek, serta pendukung proses lainnya dalam pengembangan dan pemeliharaan. Hasil dari evaluasi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa sudah adanya usaha untuk mengimplementasi keseluruhan praktik oleh organisasi. Hasil tingkat kematangan PT. PQR adalah organisasi masih berada di Level 2 atau tingkat kematangan terkelola dengan total nilai praktik sebesar 82%, yaitu terdapat 109 total praktik yang sudah terpenuhi dari 131 praktik. Dengan itu, diperlukannya perbaikan pada 23 praktik yang belum terpenuhi untuk dapat lanjut ke tingkat kematangan level 3, khususnya terkait dokumentasi, peraturan tertulis, pelatihan, dan juga manajemen data. Rekomendasi perbaikan diberikan agar semua praktik yang belum tercapai dalam sebuah area proses dapat terimplementasi berdasarkan buku pedoman CMMI.

Abstract

Dalam era digital, industri media mengalami transformasi cepat yang didorong oleh perkembangan teknologi informasi dan perubahan perilaku konsumen. PT. Jawa Pos Media Televisi (JTV) sebagai penyedia konten media terkemuka di Indonesia menghadapi tantangan dalam memahami performa acara televisi mereka untuk mempertahankan daya saing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Sistem Informasi Eksekutif berbasis metode drill-down yang dapat membantu JTV dalam menganalisis data performa televisi secara lebih mendalam dan real-time. Metode drill-down memungkinkan pengguna untuk melakukan analisis hierarkis, dari level tinggi hingga detail, sehingga memberikan wawasan yang lebih dalam mengenai perilaku pemirsa dan performa acara televisi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Waterfall dalam pengembangan perangkat lunak, yang meliputi studi literatur, pengumpulan data, proses ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), dan pengujian sistem. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi eksekutif ini efektif dalam membantu eksekutif JTV membuat keputusan strategis yang lebih cerdas dan responsif. Dengan visualisasi data yang mendalam, sistem ini juga meningkatkan efisiensi operasional JTV dalam menghadapi persaingan di industri media modern.

Abstract

Kucing adalah hewan peliharaan populer yang sering kali rentan terhadap berbagai penyakit. Ketidakmampuan pemilik untuk mendiagnosa penyakit kucing secara tepat waktu sering kali mengharuskan konsultasi dengan dokter hewan yang sebagian besar hanya tersedia di perkotaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem pakar berbasis web menggunakan metode Forward Chaining dan Certainty Factor untuk membantu mendiagnosa penyakit pada kucing. Metodologi pengembangan sistem ini mencakup tahap persiapan, prototyping, dan penyelesaian. Pada tahap persiapan, masalah dirumuskan dan wawancara dengan dokter hewan dilakukan untuk membangun knowledge base. Tahap prototyping melibatkan pembuatan mesin inferensi dan knowledge base, sementara tahap penyelesaian meliputi implementasi sistem ke dalam antarmuka pengguna berbasis web menggunakan PHP dan framework Laravel. Hasil uji sistem menunjukkan konsistensi tinggi dengan hasil diagnosa manual menggunakan Excel. Sebagai contoh, diagnosa penyakit Virus Panleukopenia memiliki nilai certainty factor sebesar 94,62% pada aplikasi, sementara perhitungan manual menunjukkan 95,21%, dengan perbedaan hanya 0,41%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem pakar yang dikembangkan mampu memberikan diagnosa yang cepat dan akurat. Kesimpulannya, sistem pakar berbasis web ini dapat diandalkan untuk mendiagnosa penyakit kucing dan membantu dokter hewan serta pemilik kucing melakukan diagnosa awal dengan lebih efisien.

Abstract

The development of an Android-based reservation and medical record management app is key to improving customer experience and operational efficiency in the beauty salon industry. This study explores the use of Firebase, offering features like Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Messaging, and Cloud Functions, to create a reliable mobile solution. Firebase enables real-time data management, secure authentication, and efficient notifications, enhancing both salon operations and customer experience. Developed with the Waterfall model and MVVM architecture, the app showed positive results in reservation and medical record management. Users can easily book appointments and access treatment history, with fast data transfer powered by Firebase. With response times of 120 ms for reads and 140 ms for writes, Firebase ensures seamless performance. The app reduced booking time by 79.91% compared to manual methods. Further development is recommended to include staff management and real-time analytics for optimized service and better customer insights.

Abstract

The use of information technology (IT) in the government sector requires structured risk management to ensure the continuity of public services. The Department of Communication and Information Technology (Dinkominfo), as a digital service provider, faces various potential risks such as network disruptions, hardware failures, and cyberattacks that could interfere with daily operations. This study employs the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method to identify, analyze, and formulate strategies to mitigate existing IT risks. Through the FMEA approach, each potential failure is evaluated based on its severity, occurrence, and detection capability, which are then used to calculate a Risk Priority Number (RPN). The analysis reveals that the highest RPN values are associated with information system errors, hardware failures, and network overloads. As mitigation measures, the study recommends conducting regular system audits, upgrading network capacity, and performing preventive maintenance on devices. This approach demonstrates that FMEA is an effective method for managing IT risks within government institutions.

Abstract

The rapid growth of information technology has driven digital transformation in various sectors, including micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), the backbone of the Indonesian economy. In response to the challenges and opportunities of digitalization, the Surabaya City Government launched the Peken e-commerce platform on October 31, 2021. This platform aims to help MSMEs market their products online, expand market reach, and increase competitiveness. However, the use of digital systems also presents new challenges, particularly in terms of cybersecurity. Dependence on technology opens the door to various threats that can compromise data confidentiality, integrity, and availability. This study aims to analyze and evaluate information security risks on the Peken Surabaya website using a risk management approach based on the ISO/IEC 27005:2019 standard. The analysis method involves identifying information assets, recognizing potential threats, identifying vulnerabilities, and assessing risk levels based on the likelihood of occurrence and impact. To support the analysis, technical testing was also conducted using the Open Web Application Security Project Zed Attack Proxy (OWASP ZAP) tool. The research results indicate that most of the risks faced by Peken Surabaya are moderate to very high. These risks include Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks, user data leaks, and the lack of a two-factor authentication (2FA) system. Based on these findings, a risk management strategy was developed using the Risk Modification, Risk Sharing, Risk Retention, and Risk Avoidance approaches. Furthermore, this study recommends security controls based on ISO/IEC 27005 and OWASP Top 10 to enhance system protection. These findings emphasize the importance of implementing international standards-based risk management in maintaining the continuity and security of digital public services, particularly those supporting the MSME sector in the digital era.

Abstract

The restaurant industry in Indonesia has experienced significant growth, driving the need for data-driven strategies to remain competitive. This study aims to apply and compare time series methods in forecasting sales at "Nasi Goreng Bacot" restaurant. The methods used are Simple Moving Average (SMA), Weighted Moving Average (WMA), and Single Exponential Smoothing (SES), with a focus on sales data from the year 2023.The research results indicate that SMA provides the most accurate predictions, with a Mean Absolute Error (MAE) value of 296.67, Mean Squared Error (MSE) of 129055.6, and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 3.02%. WMA and SES, although useful in certain data conditions, show higher error rates in this case. This study confirms the effectiveness of SMA in the context of stable and less fluctuating restaurant sales data. With these results, restaurants can plan their inventory of raw materials and workforce more efficiently, reduce waste, and improve customer satisfaction.
