Abstract

Dalam sebuah organisasi, administrasi sangatlah penting terutama dalam pengelolaannya. Salah satu Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa di Universitas Teknologi Sumbawa yaitu Racana Olat Maras – Ai Renung, bentuk pengelolaan administrasinya masih dilakukan dengan cara manual atau pencatatan di buku induk. Dalam hal tersebut mengakibatkan rumitnya dalam pembuatan laporan-laporan, tercecernya data-data yang ada dan tidak akurat dan tepatnya dalam penentuan data administrasi yang ada. Dari permasalahan tersebut, perlu adanya pengelolaan administrasi di Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Racana Olat Maras – Ai Renung berupa sistem informasi administrasi berbasis website. Pada proses perancangan sistem informasi administrasi ini, metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dan dengan memanfaatkan metode perancangan RAD (Rapid Application Development) hingga pendekatan sistem beroriantasi objek model UML (Unified Modeling Language). Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah aplikasi sistem informasi administrasi berbasis website dapat memudahkan mengelola administrasi dalam Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Racana Olat Maras-Ai Renung. Selain itu, sistem informasi ini sebagai sarana komunikasi dan informasi para pengurus Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Racana Olat Maras-Ai Renung

Abstract

The use of technology-based information systems not only improves operational efficiency but also enriches the learning and teaching experience. In this context, the management of theses, as an essential part of higher education programs, is one area that receives special attention. Based on the results of the observations, the Informatics Study Program registration process and scheduling of proposal seminars and final project trials are currently carried out conventionally. Meanwhile, the Informatics Study Program already has two previous systems, namely the thesis title checking system and the registration system and final project scheduling. However, they still need to be integrated and implemented on the server so the registration process is carried out conventionally. This study uses the Docker platform to discuss integrating the thesis information system and title-checking system in the Informatics Study Program at the Sumbawa University of Technology. The main goal is to improve operational efficiency and user experience, especially for students and teaching staff. This study covers various steps through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach and qualitative methods, from analyzing the running system and proposals to implementing Docker as a containerization platform. This integration brings significant changes, uniting the thesis title-checking and registration processes in one integrated platform. The results show increased administrative efficiency, more accessible access, and more focused use. However, this study also encourages further development for system maintenance, data security, and improvements according to user feedback to improve system functionality and resilience in the future.

Abstract

English is an international language that plays a crucial role in global communication. English is very influential in aspects of life, ranging from the work sector to the education sector. Vanka Speaking Course Sumbawa is one of the course institutions in Sumbawa Regency that accepts participants from various levels, namely elementary to junior high school, with multiple levels and six levels of learning. Currently, Vanka Speaking Course Sumbawa has seven tutors with 142 students divided into 13 regular classes (117 people) and 12 private classes (25 people). In a language course like this, determining the student's learning level is a critical initial stage. This allows teachers to design learning programs with suitable modules and materials to meet the needs of each student. The course party still needs help determining the initial stage and learning level that suits the student's abilities. This study aims to apply the Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) Method in determining the level of English learning by selecting alternatives based on specific criteria. The development method designs the system using Rapid Application Development (RAD), PHP programming language, Laravel framework, MySQL database, and Unified Modeling Language (UML). After being built and tested using black box testing, this application can be run properly and help Vanka Speaking Course Sumbawa make decisions related to determining the level of English learning. The results of this study can improve the accuracy of assessment in determining the level of English learning in students and ultimately further improve the quality of learning at the Vanka Speaking Course.

Abstract

Computer network is one means of supporting the activities of a government or private agency. SMAN 3 Praya Central Lombok is a public senior high school located in the Praya district. Community Service Activities (PkM) are one of the tri dharma activities of higher education with the aim of implementing lecturer knowledge and providing students with learning experiences and collaborating in community development activities as a means of implementing and developing science and technology in communities outside the campus. In the PkM which is carried out with the development of a microtic-based Local Area Network (LAN) computer network. Network installation by installing at several predetermined points, namely the Principal's Room, Teacher's Room, Administration Room, Library Room and Computer Laboratory. In a proxy-based computer network used as bandwidth sharing or bandwidth management using a proxy router on each host/user is an important part to do for internet service providers. Bandwidth is the most important part of a network, therefore the amount of bandwidth or bandwidth management is taken into account in order to create fast and flexible access so as to maximize internet connections according to the needs in each section. There is a need for bandwidth management to divide the amount of bandwidth needed.

Abstract

Abstract: Developments in technology and information have had a significant impact on growth in various sectors, including the education sector (Armanto, 2024). Thesis guidance is one of the educational service processes in the form of guidance on the preparation of a thesis so that students can complete their thesis according to the specified time. The aim of the thesis guidance process is to provide an understanding of how to map the student's research process so that the thesis process carried out by the student can be monitored and supervised by the supervisor. As time goes by, intensity in thesis guidance activities is often carried out. This means that a supervisor must be able to arrange a guidance schedule so that the process of other educational activities can continue considering that consultation activities are currently still being carried out offline using the face-to-face method. Therefore, a website-based information system is needed that can accommodate website-based thesis guidance activities between students and lecturers. using a software design method with a waterfall method approach. Waterfall is a method used in software development projects with structured stages starting from analyzing problems and user needs to the software testing process. The results obtained in this research are that the information system designed has made it easier for lecturers and students to carry out thesis guidance. Keyword: System;Information System;Website Abstrak: Perkembangan dalam hal teknologi dan informasi memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan pada berbagai sektor termasuk di dalamnya adalah sektor pendidikan (Armanto, 2024). Bimbingan skripsi merupakan salah satu proses layanan pendidikan berupa bimbingan penyusunan skripsi sehingga mahasiswa dapat menyelesaikan skripsi sesuai dengan waktu yang telah ditentukan. Tujuan dilakukannya proses bimbingan skripsi adalah untuk memberikan pemabahaman terhadap bagaimana pemetaan proses pengerjaan penelitian mahasiswa sehingga proses skripsi yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa dapat dipantau dan diawasi oleh dosen pembimbing. Seiring berjalannya waktu, intensitas dalam kegiatan bimbingan skripsi sering dilakukan. Hal tersebut membuat seorang dosen pembimbin harus dapat mengatur jadwal bimbingan agar proses kegiatan pendidikan lainnya dapat tetap berjalan mengingat kegiatan konsultasi saat ini masih dilakukan secara offline dengan metode tatap muka. Maka dari hal tersebut dibutuhkan sebuah sistem informasi berbasis website yang dapat mengakomodir kegiatan bimbingan skripsi antara mahasiswa dengan dosen berbasis website. menggunakan metode perancangan perangkat lunak dengan pendekatan metode waterfall. waterfall merupakan salah satu metode yang digunakan dalam proyek pembangunan perangkat lunak dengan tahapan yang terstruktur mulai dari analisa permasalahan dan kebutuhan pengguna sampai dengan proses pengujian perangkat lunak. Adapun hasil yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini adalah sistem informasi yang dirancang telah memudahkan dosen maupun mahasiswa dalam melakukan bimbingan skripsi. Kata kunci: Sistem;Sistem Informasi;Website.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Desa (SID) merupakan salah satu inovasi digital yang bertujuan untuk mendukung tata kelola pemerintahan desa yang tertib, efisien, dan berbasis data. Namun, pemanfaatan SID di banyak desa, termasuk Desa Marga Karya, Kecamatn Moyo Hulu Kabupaten Sumbawa, Nusa Tenggara Barat, masih belum optimal. Hal ini disebabkan oleh keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, terutama operator desa yang belum memiliki keterampilan teknis memadai dalam pengoperasian sistem tersebut. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas operator desa melalui pelatihan teknis pengelolaan SID guna mendukung terciptanya administrasi pemerintahan desa yang lebih tertib dan akuntabel. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi awal, penyusunan modul pelatihan, pelaksanaan pelatihan secara tatap muka, praktik langsung, simulasi studi kasus, serta pendampingan teknis pascapelatihan. Pelatihan ini mencakup pengenalan fitur SID, input data kependudukan, pengelolaan administrasi pelayanan, serta pengolahan laporan berbasis sistem. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan operator desa dalam mengoperasikan SID, yang ditunjukkan melalui hasil evaluasi dan keaktifan peserta dalam praktik lapangan. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi secara nyata dalam memperkuat tata kelola administrasi desa berbasis teknologi informasi serta membangun kemandirian perangkat desa dalam memanfaatkan SID secara berkelanjutan. Ke depan, pelatihan semacam ini perlu diperluas ke desa-desa lain sebagai bentuk penguatan digitalisasi pemerintahan desa.

Abstract

This study aims to design, develop, and test an e-commerce prototype as a digital marketing medium for ruminant animal feed products and micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) crafts in Poto Village, Sumbawa Regency. Local business actors in this area generally face two main challenges: limited access to broader markets and the lack of optimal utilization of digital technology for product promotion and sales. The study employed a qualitative research method to address these issues with data collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and literature studies. The developed e-commerce platform was then tested to evaluate its effectiveness and usability. The results show that the platform contributes positively by expanding the marketing reach of local products, increasing their competitiveness, and simplifying the transaction process. In addition, users expressed favorable responses to the simple interface, the clarity of product display, and the integrated communication features that facilitate direct interaction between sellers and buyers. These findings highlight that implementing an e-commerce system tailored to local needs has significant potential to strengthen the rural economy, particularly through the digitalization of MSMEs and the livestock feed sector. Testing further confirms that all e-commerce features function properly, meet user requirements, and are very easy to operate, thus providing evidence of the system's practicality and sustainability for long-term community use.

Abstract

Diabetic Retinopathy (DR) is a disease whose main cause is complications of diabetes mellitus. High levels of sugar in the blood (glucose) are caused by the pancreas' inability to produce insulin. Prevention of diabetic retinopathy and blindness by carrying out examinations at an early stage and doing them regularly. Currently, doctors still carry out examinations manually so they are prone to errors in examinations. This research aims to build an application to diagnose Diabetic Retinopathy in order to facilitate the work of the medical team and doctors at the eye clinic. In the application creation process, MATLAB is used, while feature extraction uses GLCM and for classification, SVM is used. The results of the research are that doctors and medical teams are helped in carrying out manual patient diagnoses and reduce the occurrence of human error.
