Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze levels of mercury (Hg) and its distribution in Batang Air Caracai Nagari Ganggo Hilia. In conducting a class analysis of mercury content (Hg) the researcher used Government Regulation No. 82 of 2001 as a reference for determining the grade level. Determination of the class distribution of mercury levels in Batang Air Caracai can use the Interpolation method with the Inverse Distance Weight Method in ArcGis and sampling is carried out at 11 location points which are spread from upstream to downstream and river water samples are then analyzed in the laboratory. The mercury content values at the 11 points were 0.392mg / L, 0.415mg / L, 0.431 mg / L, 0.438 mg / L, 0.507 mg / L, 0.484 mg / L, 0.323 mg / L, 0.23 mg / L, respectively. L, 0.461 mg / L, 0.533 mg / L and 0.806 mg / L. Based on research that has been carried out by mercury (Hg) contamination on Batang Air Caracai shows that it exceeds class IV in PP No. 82 of 2001 which means that this Caracai Air Rod cannot be used according to its designation such as, toilets, agriculture, livestock and others. The distribution of mercury (Hg) levels in Batang Caracai shows that the lower the levels of mercury (Hg) are.

Abstract

City development is a function of time, to find outdevelopment in a city that must compare the physical condition of the cityover two time periods. One of the cities that will develop issuch as Jambi City with a population growth rate of 11.9% per yearwith a population density in Jambi City which is 2,944 people/km². urgeand the need for land is increasing, while the available landlimited, it is necessary to analyze the pattern of land use change in Jambi City tofind out how the shape of the development pattern of Jambi City every year. The methods used in this study are overlapping and spatial metricsused to determine changes in the built up area in the city of Jambi in2000-2020 and spatial patterns of land use in Jambi City. Results obtainedincreased by 3233.75464 ha with the development spreading fromthe middle of the city to the outskirts of the city, the results of the metric calculation showthe direction of the development pattern to a compact city with the existence of a built areamore and more round and round.

Abstract

The built-up area in Pekanbaru City is increasing every year. Changes in land use in Pekanbaru City are dominated by the conversion of non-urban land uses, namely forests, plantations, and shrubs into urban land uses (built areas). This study aims to determine the development pattern of Pekanbaru City by using spatial matrix analysis and the factors that influence the development of Pekanbaru City using the cellular automata method used in experimental modeling. The pattern of development using the spatial matrix method was quantified using Arcgis and Fragstats software software. The results of the processing of changes in the built area of Pekanbaru City have increased every year. As for the pattern of urban development, it can be concluded based on the findings of research conducted using spatial matrices. The matrices used are NP, PD, LPI, LSI, MPS, SHDI, and SHEI. Pekanbaru City based on calculations has a pattern that is fragmented or tends to spread (Sprawl). Pekanbaru city is influenced by several driving factors, namely accessibility which consists of distance to primary roads, distance to secondary roads and distance to settlements. In this study, LanduseSim software was used to simulate land development in Pekanbaru City to see the effect of the simulated driving factor.
