Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of self-leadership on academic achievement through time management for students who also work at STIE Bina Karya. The population of this study was 198 students of the Tutorial class of the STIE Bina Karya Tebing Tinggi Management study program. The sampling method is to use the Slovin formula (α = 10%), resulting in a sample size of 67 respondents. The data collection technique is to use a questionnaire distributed to research respondents. The data processing technique used is PLS (Partial Least Square) with the help of SmartPLS software. The results showed that self-leadership has a positive and significant effect on academic achievement, self-leadership has a positive and significant effect on time management, time management has a positive and significant effect on academic achievement, time management on academic achievement, and time management can mediate the influence between self-leadership on academic achievement.

Abstract

Scouting extracurricular activities have an important role in shaping leadership attitudes through the development of students' emotional intelligence. This study aims to determine the effect of Scouting extracurricular activities in shaping leadership attitudes through emotional intelligence. This type of research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The data used in this study are quantitative data obtained from primary data with a questionnaire data collection technique given to research respondents. The population of this study were students of SMA Negeri 1 Sei Suka who participated in extracurricular activities at the school while the sample used were students who participated in scouting extracurricular activities, which were 56 people. The data processing technique used in this study was PLS (Partial Least Square) with the help of SmartPLS software. The results of the study showed that scouting extracurricular activities had a positive and significant effect on leadership attitudes, scouting extracurricular activities had a positive and significant effect on emotional intelligence, emotional intelligence had a positive and significant effect on leadership attitudes, and scouting extracurricular activities had a positive and significant effect on leadership attitudes through emotional intelligence.

Abstract

The use of e-commerce is increasing among the younger generation, especially Generation Z students who are known to be responsive to promos and attractive offers. Shopee as one of the most popular e-commerce platforms offers cashback and free shipping promos to attract and retain customers. This study aims to determine the effect of cashback and free shipping promos on Shopee user loyalty among Gen Z students in Tebing Tinggi City. The method used is a quantitative approach with a survey technique through a questionnaire. This study uses the Cochran formula for sampling because the population is too large and unknown, so that a research sample of 96 respondents was obtained. The sample selection method in the study uses probability sampling methods. The results of the study show that there is a significant influence between cashback promos on Shopee user loyalty, there is a significant influence between free shipping promos on Shopee user loyalty, and cashback and free shipping promos together affect Shopee user loyalty.

Abstract

Dalam konteks pendidikan, guru dengan tingkat dimensi agreeableness yang tinggi cenderung memiliki hubungan interpersonal yang baik dengan siswa, rekan kerja, dan pihak sekolah, yang dapat menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang lebih harmonis dan suportif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dimensi agreeableness terhadap stres kerja dengan Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) sebagai variabel intervening pada guru SMA Negeri 1 Kota Tebing Tinggi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru SMA Negeri 1 Kota Tebing Tinggi, dan sampel yang digunakan adalah guru honorer yang ada di SMA Negeri 1 Kota Tebing Tinggi sebanyak 34 orang guru. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner yang diolah dengan metode Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) melalui software SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dimensi agreeableness tidak berpengaruh terhadap OCB, dimensi agreeableness berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap stres kerja, organizational citizenship behavior berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap stres kerja dan dimensi agreeableness tidak berpengaruh terhadap stres kerja melalui organizational citizenship behavior.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership on affective commitment through perceived organizational support at the Tebing Tinggi City Dinas Penanaman Modal dan Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu (DPMPTSP) Office. The research method uses path analysis with partial least squares - Structural Equation Model (SEM - PLS) on 40 employee respondents. The research results show that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on affective commitment and perceived organizational support. Apart from that, perceived organizational support also has a positive and significant effect on affective commitment. These results indicate that perceived organizational support mediates the effect of transformational leadership on affective commitment. These findings provide important implications for human resource management practitioners in increasing employee commitment and performance through the development of transformational leadership and perceived organizational support. Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the influence of mobile SAMSAT services and enforcement of tax sanctions on taxpayer compliance. The population of this research is the countless number of taxpayers in the city of Tebing Tinggi. By using the Cochran formula, the sample results obtained were 96 respondents. Researchers used a sampling technique using the Accidental Sampling technique. The data collection technique is to use a questionnaire distributed to research respondents. The data analysis used is simple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS for Windows software. The research results show that partially the mobile SAMSAT service has a positive and significant effect on taxpayer compliance and the enforcement of tax sanctions has a positive and significant effect on taxpayer compliance. Apart from that, simultaneously mobile SAMSAT services and enforcement of tax sanctions have a positive and significant effect on taxpayer compliance.

Abstract

The substitution of cooking utensils from kerosene stoves to gas stoves causes housewives to consider various brands of stoves in making their purchasing decisions for their daily cooking needs for their families. This study aims to determine the effect of brand image, price, and word-of-mouth communication on the Rinnai Gas Stove Purchase Decision on Housewives in Dusun VI, Kuta Baru Village. The independent variables of this study consisted of brand image, price and word-of-mouth communication, while the dependent variable was purchasing decisions. This research is a quantitative approach. The primary data was obtained through questionnaire answers from 65 respondents who use the Rinnai gas stove in Hamlet VI, Kuta Baru Village. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis methods. The results of the analysis show that Brand Image (X1) affects the Purchasing Decision variable (Y), Price (X2) does not affect the Purchasing Decision (Y), word-of-mouth Communication (X3) affects the Purchasing Decision (Y) and Brand Image (X1), Price (X2) and WoM Communication (X3) influence simultaneously (simultaneously) on the Purchase Decision Variable (Y).
