Abstract

Non-Formal Education is a solution for children and adults who have dropped out of school. Apart from that, with Non-Formal Education, educational services can serve anyone, because obtaining education, science and knowledge can be done in formal or non-formal ways. The education management process includes planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating. Through good planning, it is hoped that PKBM can become a truly effective forum for community empowerment, so that it can improve the quality of life of the community as expected and ultimately be able to improve the quality of human resources as a whole. The general aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of PKBM management. The specific aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of planning, organizing, implementing, controlling and evaluating PKBM. This research method is evaluative, collecting data through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this research show that the effectiveness of management in PKBM Sejahtera Insan Indonesia in East Barito Regency, South Kalimantan is effective, both from planning analysis, organization, implementation, control and evaluation due to management. In accordance with PKBM management standards and based on analysis standards for PKBM Sejahtera Insan Indonesia in East Barito Regency, South Kalimantan, it received a score of 100%, which means all aspects are effective. The management carried out at PKBM Sejahtera Insan Indonesia is running according to initial planning.

Abstract

Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) sebagai lembaga pendidikan nonformal memiliki tantangan di era disruptif saat ini. Salah satunya yaitu branding layanan Program kesetaraan (Paket C). Dalam melaksanakan pendidikan yang inklusif PKBM harus melakukan inovasi dan kreatifitas dalam branding layanan program pembajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji branding layanan program Paket C pada lembaga Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) AL-Madinah Kota Kediri melalui metode systematic literature review. Metode ini dipilih untuk mengidentifikasi, mengevaluasi, dan menginterpretasi semua penelitian yang relevan terkait branding layanan dalam konteks pendidikan nonformal khususnya program Paket C. Penelitian ini menyaring dan menganalisis literatur yang diperoleh dari berbagai database akademik serta sumber-sumber lain yang kredibel. Hasil dari kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa branding layanan pada PKBM AL-Madinah memiliki pengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan partisipasi dan kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap program Paket C. Branding yang kuat dan strategis mampu membangun citra positif dan kepercayaan, sehingga mendukung pencapaian tujuan pendidikan nonformal. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi pengelola PKBM dan pemangku kepentingan lainnya untuk mengembangkan strategi branding yang efektif dan berkelanjutan

Abstract

The role of Indonesian language learning in elementary schools is very fundamental. Indonesian is a mandatory subject for elementary school students to study. One of the Indonesian language subjects that is often interesting and must be maximized is the skill of reading poetry. Students' poetry reading skills must be taught through providing interesting media and appropriate learning methods. The relevant media and methods are image expression media and demonstration methods. This research aims to determine the effect of expressive image media supported by demonstration methods on poetry reading skills. The research approach used is a quantitative study using true experimental design by providing treatment to one of the classes. The research was conducted on fourth grade students at SD Modern Paramadina Kediri. Data collection techniques using tests, observation and documentation. Data analysis uses prerequisite tests for normality and homogeneity, while hypothesis verification uses the t-test. The research results prove that the significance value obtained was 0.003 0.05 (5%) and the t-count value was 3.070 which was higher than the t-table value of 1.996. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of expressive image media supported by the demonstration method on the poetry reading skills of class IV students at SD Modern Paramadina Kediri.

Abstract

Non-formal education (NFE) is a form of education outside the formal system, which provides services to certain target students in the fields of social, religious, cultural, skills, and expertise. One of the institutions that organise NFE is the Al-Madinah Kediri Community Learning Centre (CLC), which offers a free equivalency education programme for children and adults. This study aims to understand the transformation experienced by CLC Al-Madinah Kediri students after attending the equivalency education programme. This research uses a phenomenological approach, which seeks to uncover the meaning and essence of learners' life experiences from their own perspective. This research was conducted using in-depth interviews with 10 learners who have completed the Paket B (junior high school equivalent) or Paket C (senior high school equivalent) programme at CLC Al-Madinah Kediri. The results showed that learners of CLC Al-Madinah Kediri experienced transformation in the aspects of knowledge, skills, attitudes, values, and opportunities. Learners feel more confident, independent, empowered, and contribute to society after participating in the equivalency education programme. Learners also get other benefits, such as dormitory facilities, meals, pocket money, and guidance from the foundation. This research implies that NFE can be an effective and relevant alternative in fulfilling the lifelong education needs of disadvantaged communities.
