Abstract

The background of this community service is the increasing need for Hajj pilgrims to deeply understand the proper procedures of Hajj and the ethical conduct during the pilgrimage (akhlakul haj), especially when facing cultural and physical challenges in Saudi Arabia. Many pilgrims have limited knowledge about the rituals and feel anxious about adapting to the local culture. Therefore, this Hajj guidance program was designed to provide both theoretical and practical understanding of the proper Hajj rituals and the ethical behavior to maintain during the pilgrimage. The main objective of this program is to enhance the pilgrims' readiness in terms of technical, mental, and spiritual aspects, while equipping them with the ability to adapt to the Arab customs. The methods employed include delivering theoretical materials on Hajj, interactive discussions, practical Hajj simulations, and evaluation and reflection sessions. The results of this community service show a significant increase in the participants' understanding, both technically and spiritually. Participants became more prepared physically and mentally to perform Hajj after the practical simulations, and they also gained a deeper understanding of the importance of maintaining ethical conduct and interacting respectfully with the local community in Saudi Arabia. This program successfully provided pilgrims with adequate preparation for the profound spiritual journey in the Holy Land.

Abstract

The success of marital life depends on the readiness of marriage which consists of psychological readiness, physical readiness, material readiness, and readiness of knowledge about marriage. That is why the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia issued the Decree of the Director General of Islamic Community Guidance Number 172 of 2022 which requires prospective brides and grooms to take marriage guidance. Therefore, the Karanganom KUA created the Kecantol Kamu marriage guidance program (Karanganom Maju Unggul Online-Offline Prospective Bride Course) as a step to provide provisions for prospective brides and grooms in realizing a household that is sakinah, mawadah and rahmah. This research is a field research. This research was conducted at the Religious Affairs Office (KUA) of Karanganom District, Klaten in February - March 2024. Data collection using interview, observation and documentation methods. The subjects of this study were the Head of the KUA Karanganom and the Islamic Religious Counselor of the KUA Karanganom. The research informants were participants in the Kecantol Kamu marriage guidance and facilitators of the Kecantol Kamu marriage guidance of the KUA Karanganom. Data analysis uses data reduction techniques, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. To test the validity of the data, the Credibility, Transferability, Dependability, and Confirmability test techniques are used. Based on the results of the study, the author concludes: First, the implementation of the Kecantol Kamu marriage guidance at the KUA Karanganom in 2021 - 2023 has been in accordance with the technical instructions for implementing marriage guidance. Second, the Kecantol Kamu marriage guidance at the KUA Karanganom is effective in providing conceptual and mental readiness to prospective brides and grooms in entering the marital lifee, the Kecantol Kamu marriage guidance at the KUA Karanganom is also effective in reducing the divorce rate.

Abstract

This research aims to answer the question of what are the causal factors regarding the marriage of pregnant women out of wedlock in Pandanan Village, Wonosari District, Klaten Regency, as well as how Islamic law analyzes the causal factors regarding the marriage of pregnant women in Pandanan Village, Wonosari District, Klaten Regency. The data sources in this research are community leaders. In collecting data, we used interview and document observation techniques to obtain data in the form of data about the causal factors regarding the marriage of pregnant women out of wedlock. Analysis of the data that has been collected in this research is using a qualitative descriptive method, which aims to analyze cases of pregnant women out of wedlock in Pandanan Village, Wonosari District, Klaten Regency. The results of this research explain that: The causes of pregnancy out of wedlock in Pandanan Village,Wonosari District, Klaten Regency are divided into several factors, namely first, the education system in this country does not form piety. Second, the media and the environment are driving teenagers' sexual desires to become increasingly uncontrolled. Third, family education has not become a family bulwark against immorality, including promiscuity. Fourth, society is indifferent to free association. Fifth, the state does not carry out its function as administrator and protector of the people.

Abstract

Marriage in Islam is a sacred bond between a man and a woman to build a happy family in this world and the hereafter. However, various issues such as conflict, economic problems, and poor communication often trigger divorce. Islam permits talaq as a last resort, although it is highly discouraged. Amid the high divorce rates, the role of the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) becomes crucial—not only as a marriage registrar but also as a guide for prospective brides and grooms. Through premarital counseling, couples are provided with religious knowledge, household skills, and conflict resolution strategies. Unfortunately, many people are still unaware of the importance of this course. The low awareness is due to limited religious literacy and apathy towards family development. In fact, effective premarital courses can prevent divorce. Therefore, strengthening the role of the KUA and increasing public education are essential to create families that are sakinah, mawaddah, and rahmah.

Abstract

a sakinah family for person with disabilities represents an ideal form of household life build on tranquility, affection, and compassion despite physical limitations. In the context of disability, a sakinah family reflects the couple's ability to understand, support, and maintain commitment to one another even amidst social and economic challengers. This study aims to analyze how persons with physical disabilities (tuna daksa) form sakinah families from the perspective of Maqashid Syariah. Using s qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving five disabled couples in Tugu village, Cawas District, Klaten Regency. The result reveal that disabled couples can establish harmonious families by applying Islamic principles such as fulfilling basic needs, maintaining dignity, and ensuring children's education. The principles of values such as hifz al-din (protection of religion), hifz al-nafs (protection of life), hifz al-'aql (protection of intellect), hifz al-nasl (protection of lineage), hifz al-mal (protection of wealth). Challenges they face include social stigma, limited access to facilities, and uneven distribution of social assistance. This study highlights the importance of environmental support and inclusive policies in achieving the ideal sakinah family for persons with disabilities.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of understanding the book of Minhajus Salikin on the quality of worship of students of the Jajar Islamic Center Islamic Boarding School in the 2024/2025 school year. The study used a quantitative approach with a questionnaire data collection method that had been tested for validity and reliability and a test involving 39 students as the study population. Data obtained through questionnaires, and analyzed using statistical tests with the help of SPSS. From the acquisition of the calculated value of tcount > ttable of 2.033> 1.687 and a significance value of 0.049 <0.05, the magnitude of the coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0.095 or equal to 9.5%. This figure means that the variable Understanding of the Book of Minhajus Salikin (X) affects the variable Quality of Student Prayer (Y) by 9.5%. While the rest (100% - 9.5% = 90.5%) is influenced by other variables outside this regression equation or variables not examined. Although the effect is low, understanding the book of Minhajus Salikin still contributes to improving the quality of student prayer.Keywords: minhajus salikin, quality of prayer, fiqh, education

Abstract

Sir Sayyid Ahmad Khan lahir 17 Oktober 1817 di Delhi. Dia berasal dari keturunan Husin, cucu Nabi Muhammad saw. Leluhurnya dari jazirah Arab melarikan diri ke Iran, kemudian pindah ke Afganistan. Diantara keluarganya, berangkat ke india dimasa pemerintahan Syikh Jahan (1628-1666), AKHIRNYA DIANTARA MEREKA DAPAT MEMEGANG JABATAN PENTING DALAM PEMERINTAHAN ITU. Neneknya Bernama Sayyid Hadi adalah pembesar istana dimasa raja Alamghir II. Ayahnya, Mir Muttaqi seorang yang banyak bergaul dengan orang-orang sufi, dan anggota perserikatan rahasia (mistik), dan mempelajari buku agama untuk membersikan jiwa dari dosa. Perserikatan mistik seperti ini, cara berfikirnya lebih bebas, yang mana rupa-rupanya mempengaruhi cara berfikir anaknya kelak. Sedangkan ibunya seorang perempuan Islam, keturunan bnagsawan, berbudi tinggi, berpendidikan baik, dan sangat benci kepada takhayul-takhayul. Sir Sayyid Ahmad Khan dimasa mudanya belajar pengetahuan agama, bahasa Arab, Bahasa Persi dan berhitung. Dia sangat rajin membaca buku berbagai ilmu pengetahuaan. Disamping itu dia juga  belajar memanah dan berenang pada ayahnya.

Abstract

This study examines the issue of early marriage resulting from premarital pregnancy, analyzed from the perspectives of Islamic law and civil law in Indonesia, specifically focusing on cases recorded at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) in Wuryantoro District, Wonogiri Regency. The primary objective of this research is to analyze the legal and religious views on early marriage due to premarital pregnancy and to evaluate the role and policies implemented by KUA in handling such cases. The study identifies various contributing factors, including a lack of religious knowledge among the community, the influence of free association, insufficient parental supervision, and the limited guidance from religious leaders and government institutions on appropriate relationships between men and women. Furthermore, the research explores how Islamic teachings and Indonesian civil law respond to early marriage, particularly in terms of marriage regulations, age limits, and handling cases where marriage occurs due to pregnancy outside of wedlock. Using qualitative methods, including interviews, observations, and literature review, the study highlights the complex intersection between Islamic law and civil law in addressing early marriages due to pregnancy. The research recommends a comprehensive approach involving education, legal enforcement, and community engagement to reduce the incidence of early marriages and enhance public understanding of marriage laws and religious teachings. The findings of this study are expected to contribute both theoretically and practically to efforts aimed at preventing and addressing early marriages resulting from premarital pregnancy in Indonesian society.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap (1) nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam dan (2) implementasinya pada anak usia dini di Taman Tahfidzul Qur’an Al-Busyro surakarta. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian lapangan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak usia dini di Taman Tahfidzul Qur'an Al-Busyro Surakarta. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Untuk analisis datanya menggunakan analisis diagram alir. Berdasarkan penelitian dan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam yang diterapkan pada anak usia dini di tahfidzul qur 'an Al-Busyro Surakarta meliputi nilai keimanan, ibadah dan akhlaq; (2) Implementasi pendidikan nilai Islam pada anak usia dini didukung dengan materi pendidikan Islam yang meliputi Al-Qur’an, Hadits, Aqidah, Ibadah, Akhlaq, Siroh serta kosakata bahasa Arab dan Inggris. Agar proses pembelajaran dapat berjalan efektif dan efisien guru menggunakan berbagai metode pendidikan Islam, media pembelajaran sebagai pedoman belajar dan melakukan penelitian parenting kepada orang tua.

Abstract

Currently, the millennial generation, a generation that is proficient in technology, is infatuated with various types of cellphones. This study aims to determine the effect of the intensity of mobile phone use on student behavior. This type of research is quantitative research with research subjects at SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Surakarta. The independent variable (Variable X) in this study is the intensity of mobile phone use, while the dependent variable (Variable Y) is student behavior. The research population consisted of 4 classes and a sample of 1 class, namely 30 people. In collecting data, researchers used an instrument in the form of a questionnaire consisting of 20 item questions, testing the validity of the research instrument using the Aiken Validity Test and testing its reliability using the Cronbach Alpha Test. The scoring of question items in the questionnaire uses a Likert scale of 1-4. The results showed that there was an influence between the intensity of mobile phone use on student behavior at SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Surakarta. Judging from the test results using the product moment, the r count value is 0.482 and the r table value is 0.361. With the testing criteria r count > r table. Then H0 is rejected so that there is a significant influence between the intensity of mobile phone use on student behavior at SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Surakarta. Then in the calculation of the coefficient of determination it is known that the value of r square is 0.482, namely the influence of the intensity of using mobile phones on student behavior at SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Surakarta by 23.21%. This means that the influence of the intensity of mobile phone use on student behavior is in the medium category.
