Abstract

ABSTRAKGuru-guru SMA di Kabupaten Seram Bagian Timur menghadapi tantangan signifikan dalam pembuatan soal ujian berkualitas, disebabkan oleh beban kerja tinggi, keterbatasan waktu, dan kesenjangan digital. Kegiatan pengabdian bertujuan mengoptimalkan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun soal ujian melalui pemanfaatan teknologi Kecerdasan Buatan (AI). Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan pelatihan dan pendampingan, meliputi survei awal, pelatihan penggunaan AI, implementasi praktis, dan evaluasi komprehensif. Kegiatan melibatkan 38 guru SMA dari total 40 guru di Kabupaten Seram Bagian Timur, dengan tingkat partisipasi mencapai 95%. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kompetensi guru. Pemahaman tentang AI meningkat dari 65 menjadi 85, efisiensi waktu pembuatan soal meningkat 75%, variasi soal bertambah 100%, dan kualitas soal yang memenuhi standar naik dari 70% menjadi 90%. Sebanyak 85% guru menyatakan kesiapan untuk mengimplementasikan AI dalam proses pembuatan soal ujian. Pemanfaatan AI secara efektif dapat meningkatkan kualitas dan efisiensi pembuatan soal ujian, membuka peluang inovasi dalam praktik evaluasi pembelajaran di sekolah menengah atas. Kata kunci: Kecerdasan Buatan, Pembuatan Soal Ujian, Guru SMA, Kabupaten Seram Bagian Timur. ABSTRACTHigh school teachers in East Seram Regency face significant challenges in creating quality exam questions, due to high workload, time constraints, and digital divide. The service activity aims to optimize the ability of teachers to compile exam questions through the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. The implementation method uses a training and mentoring approach, including an initial survey, training on the use of AI, practical implementation, and comprehensive evaluation. The activity involved 38 high school teachers out of a total of 40 teachers in East Seram Regency, with a participation rate of 95%. The results showed a significant improvement in teachers' competencies. The understanding of AI increased from 65 to 85, the time efficiency of making questions increased by 75%, the variety of questions increased by 100%, and the quality of questions that met the standards rose from 70% to 90%. A total of 85% of teachers expressed readiness to implement AI in the process of making exam questions. Effective utilization of AI can improve the quality and efficiency of making exam questions, opening up opportunities for innovation in learning evaluation practices in senior high schools.  Keywords: Artificial Intelligence, Exam Question Creation, High School Teachers, East Seram Regency

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kemampuan representasi dan koneksi matematis peserta didik. Penelitian dilakukan pada peserta didik kelas IX (Sembilan) SMP Kristen Kalam Kudus Ambon. Dari 31 Peserta didik, dipilih 5 peserta didik berdasarkan hasil tes kemampuan representasi dan koneksi matematis sebagai subjek yang diwawancari. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan instrumen tes kemampuan representasi dan koneksi matematis, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan konversi skala lima yang mengacu pada Ratumanan dan Laurens (2015). Dari hasil tes kemampuan representasi dan koneksi matematis dalam menyelesaikan soal kubus dan balok pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar, peserta didik dikelompokan berdasarkan kategori tinggi dan sangat tinggi, sedang, rendah dan sangat rendah. Diambil subjek yang diwawancarai yaitu 2 peserta didik mewakili kategori tinggi dan sangat tinggi, 1 peserta didik mewakili kategori sedang, dan 2 peserta didik mewakili kategori rendah dan sangat rendah. Selanjutnya data hasil tes instrumen kemampuan representasi dan koneksi matematis dianalisis menggunakan analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif, untuk analisis kuantitatif berupa statistik deskriptif untuk menentukan ukuran dari data yaitu nilai rata-rata (mean) dan statistik inferensial untuk menguji hubungan antara kemampuan representasi dan koneksi matematis, sedangkan untuk analisis kualitatif menggunakan teknik analisis data menurut Miles dan Huberman (Emzir, 2014), yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dari penelitian diperoleh persentase skor rata-rata kemampuan represenatsi dan koneksi matematis keseluruhan peserta didik di kelas IX SMP Kristen Kalam Kudus Ambon pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar (kubus dan balok) adalah 44.38 dan 38.32. Selain itu diperoleh juga bahwa kemampuan representasi matematis peserta didik berada pada kategori rendah dan sangat rendah dengan persentase sebesar 61.29% dan kemampuan koneksi matematis peserta didik juga berada pada kategori rendah dan sangat rendah dengan persentase sebesar 77.42% serta terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kemampuan representasi dan koneksi matematis.

Abstract

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk-bentuk koneksi matematis internal dan eksternal serta kendala yang dihadapi peserta didik dalam membangun koneksi antara konsep matematika dan kehidupan sehari-hari melalui aktivitas Math Trail. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek empat peserta didik kelas IX SMP Laboratorium Universitas Pattimura yang dipilih berdasarkan prestasi akademik. Data dikumpulkan melalui Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD), wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik dapat membangun koneksi matematis internal, terutama dalam memahami konsep kesebangunan melalui pengukuran dan perbandingan objek nyata. Koneksi eksternal juga mulai terlihat, meskipun belum sepenuhnya berkembang secara konsisten. Adapun kendala yang ditemukan meliputi keterbatasan alat ukur, kesulitan visualisasi objek tiga dimensi, dan pengaruh faktor eksternal seperti cuaca dan waktu pelaksanaan. Pembelajaran melalui aktivitas Math Trail terbukti memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman matematika yang kontekstual, terutama jika didukung oleh perencanaan yang baik dan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung.

Abstract

Mathematical representation ability is the ability to present notations, symbols, tables, pictures, graphs, diagrams, equations, or other mathematical expressions into other forms possessed by students to find solutions to a problem at hand. Therefore, teachers should provide sufficient opportunities for students to be able to train and develop mathematical representation skills as an important part of solving the problems given. The mathematical representation ability of students is still low. Students still find it difficult to solve mathematical problems related to aspects of verbal indicators, picture indicators, and symbol indicators. This can be found in linear programming material. Also, linear programming material is often considered difficult material by students in learning mathematics. This study aims to describe students' mathematical representation abilities including symbol representation, image representation, verbal representation on linear programming material in class XI SMA Negeri 3 Ambon. The type of research used is combination research (mixed methods). The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 3 Ambon with 36 research subjects from class XI MIPA 4 and the subjects chosen to be interviewed were based on the results of the mathematical representation ability test. From the results of the mathematical representation ability test on linear programming material, students are grouped based on the very high, high, medium, low, and very low categories. The subjects interviewed were 1 student with a very high category; 1 student with a low category, and 1 student with a very low category. Linear programming material is given to help students improve mathematical representation abilities. The largest percentage of students' test results are in the very low category. Based on the test results, it shows that the mathematical representation ability of students on symbol representation is higher than image representation and verbal representation. Meanwhile, from the three subjects interviewed, it was found that subjects tended to fulfill the indicator of symbol representation ability compared to the indicators of image representation and verbal representation

Abstract

This study aims to identify students numeracy literacy capability. The research was conducted towards 8th grade student’s of Kristen Kalam Kudus Junior High School Ambon. Ever since 66 students, 20 students were randomly selected as research samples. The data collection was carried out using a numeracy literacy test instrument. To obtain data on the learning process in school, the development of numeracy literacy, was conducted using Learning Process Document wich was prepared by Mathematics Teacher. The data where analyzed using a five-scale conversion according to Ratumanan and Laurens (2015). The data review also where analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis methods. According to this study, it was known, there are 2 students (10%) had a good numeracy literacy capability, 3 students (15%) had good numeracy literacy capability, 4 students (20%) had a sufficient literacy capability, 4 students (20%) have a deficient capability, meanwhile 7 students (seven) (35%) have a lower rate in literacy capability. The study from learning Process Document conducted by Mathematics Teacher, finding the result, which is : (1) The attention of the higher order thinking development has been accommodate. The result of this study can be seen in the formulation of objectives learning that accommodate the level of reasoning, the stages of learning accommodate the problem solving process, as well as practice questions and assessments that also accommodate the level of reasoning, (2) Implication of context in presenting the problem has been accommodated both in teaching materials and practice questions and tests, (3) the forms of questions/problems in learning and assessment are limited to multiple choice questions and descriptions. This shows that the efforts to develop numeracy literacy have been paid attention by the teacher, in despite of teacher's performance which has not been decent

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes in education, including in the learning process. However, teachers in remote areas such as Leihitu Barat District, Central Maluku, still face limitations in digital competence and infrastructure, which hinder the optimal use of educational technology. Based on these conditions, this community service program was carried out with the aim of improving teachers’ digital competence through training on the use of the Edukati-based Learning Management System (LMS). The activities involved several stages, including preparation, face-to-face training, hands-on practice using the LMS, online mentoring after the training, and evaluation through pre-test and post-test. The results indicated a significant improvement in participants’ understanding and skills. Before the training, all teachers had no knowledge of LMS and no prior experience in using it. After the training, all participants understood the basic functions of LMS, and 75% were able to operate Edukati’s key features, such as creating digital classes, uploading materials, and designing learning assessments. Teachers’ readiness level increased from 4.2% (not ready) to 82.1% (ready). Nevertheless, limited devices, unstable internet access, and the absence of technical staff remain challenges in implementation. Teachers’ enthusiasm, the support of a WhatsApp community, and the openness of partner schools to digital innovation provide opportunities for program sustainability. Therefore, the Edukati LMS training proved effective in improving teachers’ digital literacy and is essential as a strategic step to strengthen digital culture in education, particularly in remote areas
