Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan tujuan menganalisis kemampuan komunikasi matematis dalam   menyelesaikan soal-soal program linear ditinjau dari tingkat penguasaan matematika. Terdapat 3 subjek penelitian ini yaitu satu siswa penguasaan matematika tinggi (ST), satu siswa penguasaan matematika sedang (SR), dan satu   siswa penguasaan matematika rendah (SR). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah instrumen soal tertulis dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan penguasaan matematika tinggi mampu  mencermati informasi yang tersedia pada permasalahan dengan baik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa mampu mengkomunikasikan hasil pekerjaannya dengan alur yang detail. Sedangkan siswa dengan penguasaan matematika sedang memapu mencermati informasi yang tersedia dalam permasalahan, namun kurang mampu untuk memahami permasalahan tersebut. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa masih kurang mampu untuk mengkomunikasikan  hasil pekerjaannya secara detail dan siswa dengan penguasaan  matematika rendah mampu  mengetahui informasi yang terdapat dalam soal, namun kurang mampu memahami soal. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa belum mampu untuk mengkomunikasikan hasil pekerjaannya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas Classroom Action Research (CAR) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan belajar matematika siswa melalui Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe TGT dengan Media  Pembelajaran ULTPYGO. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII B SMPN 3 Sendana. Dalam proses pembelajaran TGT, siswa melakukan permainan dengan menggunakan ULTPYGO untuk menambah pengetahuan yang berkaitan dengan materi teorema Pytagoras. Proses pembelajaran yang dikaitkan dengan permainan ular tangga sangat mempengaruhi keaktifan siswa dalam belajar sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Selain hanya belajar, siswa juga dapat bermain seperti ular tangga pada umumnya sehingga siswa sangat mudah mendapatkan pengetahuan mengenai teorema Pythagoras melalui permainan ULTPYGO tersebut. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan tes akhir siklus dan pengamatan melalui lembar observasi siswa. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif. Persentase siswa yang tuntas belajar meningkat dari 73,91% pada siklus I menjadi 91,30% pada siklus II dan nilai rata-rata pada siklus I adalah 67,59 rentang nilai pada siklus I 39 standar deviasi siklus I adalah 11,15 sedangkan nilai rata-rata pada siklus II mencapai 82,96 rentang nilai pada siklus II 43 standar deviasi siklus II 11,11. Meningkatnya aktivitas siswa dalam proses pembelajaran sesuai dengan hasil observasi yang dilakukan selama penelitian dari siklus I ke siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan selama dua siklus, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar matematika siswa setelah diterapkan Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe TGT dengan Media  Pembelajaran ULTPYGO kelas VIII B SMPN 3 Sendana mengalami peningkatan.

Abstract

One of the cutting-edge technologies implementations can be seen on interactive multimedia that usually use in learning systems. School and informal education institutions start to use this system as their main media to deliver courses. For instance, Teaching Factory Manufacturing of Electronics (TFME) in Politeknik Negeri Batam. This study aims to generate interactive media that run on websites and to observe the experience value while using interactive media of TFME. ADDIE is utilized as a design method of system. ADDIE stands for analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Furthermore, during the research, qualitative method is used to analyze user experience questionnaire (UEQ) which has six scales, namely novelty, perspicuity, dependability, efficiency, attractiveness, and stimulation. The result of study shows that product can be employed as interactive multimedia for students well as UEQ’s scale has average > 0.8. It can be detailed in novelty (1.03), perspicuity (1.09), dependability (1.18), efficiency (1.15), attractiveness (1.23), and stimulation (1.20).

Abstract

ABSTRAK COVID-19 pertama dilaporkan di Indonesia pada  tanggal 2 Maret 2020 sejumlah dua kasus. Data 31 Maret 2020  menunjukkan  kasus  yang  terkonfirmasi  berjumlah 1.528 kasus dan 136 kasus kematian. Tingkat mortalitas  COVID-19 di Indonesia sebesar 8,9%, angka ini merupakan  yang tertinggi di Asia Tenggara Berbagai upaya telah dilakukan pemerintah dalam menanggulangi penyebaran COVID-19 yang sangat cepat ini. Pemecahan  masalah  yang  ada  di  masyarakat berkaitan  dengan  pencegahan penularan Covid-19, direalisasikan  melalui  kegiatan diskusi daring tentang pencegahan penularan Covid-19. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini merupakan hasil kerja sama dengan IIKP Area Ambon dengan sasaran terkhusus bagi ibu-ibu anggota IIKP Area Ambon dan masyarakat luas. Edukasi tentang pencegahan penularan Covid-19 yang dilakukan secara daring ini menampilkan video dan slide berbagai informasi tentang Covid-19. Peserta diminta berkomitmen untuk melakukan segala langkah-langkah pencegahan atau antisipasi yang telah diinformasikan karena hasil yang diharapkan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini tidak lain adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan dalam mengantisipasi sekaligus mencegah penyebaran covid-19.    Kata Kunci: Edukasi, Daring, Covid-19 ABSTRACTCOVID-19 was first reported in Indonesia on March 2, 2020, with two cases. March 31, 2020 data shows that there are 1,528 confirmed cases and 136 deaths. The mortality rate for COVID-19 in Indonesia is 8.9%, this figure is the highest in Southeast Asia. Various efforts have been made by the government to prevent the spread of COVID-19 which is very fast. The solution to problems in the community related to the prevention of Covid-19 transmission is realized through online discussion activities on preventing Covid-19 transmission. This community service activity is the result of collaboration with IIKP Ambon Area with the target of IIKP Ambon Area members and the wider community. This online education on prevention of Covid-19 transmission shows videos and slides of various information about Covid-19. Participants are expected to take all preventive or anticipatory steps that have been informed because the expected results from these community service activities are none other than to provide knowledge in anticipating and preventing the spread of Covid-19. Keywords : Education, Online, Covid-19

Abstract

This study aims to develop learning tools that are relevant to the characteristics of students in the Mathematics Education Study Program. The development of the tools in this study used the Inquiry learning model in advanced calculus courses. Given the current situation in which the world and even Indonesia are being hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, all learning activities are carried out offline or online (in a network). These learning tools are designed to be used in online and offline learning situations. This type of research is development research, namely product development in the form of learning tools. There are 3 learning tools developed, namely Teaching Materials (BA), Student Worksheets (LKM) and Semester Learning Plans (RPS) which will be used in the teaching and learning process. The resulting learning tools are expected to help students in the learning process to improve their critical thinking, creative and problem-solving skills. The development of this learning tool consists of several phases, namely: (1) Difine, (2) Design, (3) Develop. This research has reached the definition and design stage.

Abstract

[English]: This scoping review aims to examine mathematics education research in Indonesia in the last seven years. A search on top 1 and 2 journals, which were selected through a national database (Sinta), yielded 595 articles published from 2015 to March 2021. A content analysis of the articles revealed that research mostly used by mathematics education researchers in Indonesia was qualitative (41.85%), quantitative (32.94%), and developmental (17.82%). The research participants were dominated by junior high school students (35.63%), college students or pre-service teachers (23.87%), and senior high school students (17.48%). The number of participants ranges from 31 to 60 (26.72%) in the majority of the research. Most of the research data were collected through tests, interviews, and questionnaires. Meanwhile, in analyzing the data, the use of descriptive statistics, qualitative methods, and t-tests were obtrusive. There are twelve most researched topics in Indonesia, including mathematical ability (27.23%), technology application (13.28%), and cognitive process (9.92%). Several topics that have not been developed in Indonesia are philosophy and history of mathematics education, early childhood mathematics learning, and topics on multicultural, multilingualism, and equity in mathematics education. Meanwhile, the integration of Islamic values ​​in teaching and learning mathematics is a particular topic in Indonesia. [Bahasa]: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penelitian pendidikan matematika di Indonesia dalam tujuh tahun terakhir. Pencarian pada jurnal level 1 dan level 2, yang dipilih melalui basis data nasional (Sinta), menghasilkan 595 artikel yang diterbitkan dari tahun 2015 sampai Maret 2021. Hasil konten analisis dari artikel tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penelitian paling banyak digunakan peneliti pendidikan matematika di Indonesia adalah kualitatif (41,85%), kuantitatif (32,94%), dan pengembangan (17,82%). Partisipan paling banyak dilibatkan adalah siswa SMP (35,63%), mahasiswa atau calon guru (23,87%), dan siswa SMA (17,48%). Sebagian besar jumlah sampel yang digunakan berada pada kisaran 31-60 orang (26,72%). Pengumpulan data banyak dilakukan melalui tes, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Sementara itu, analisis data paling banyak menggunakan statistik deskriptif, metode kualitatif, dan uji-t. Terdapat dua belas topik paling banyak diteliti di Indonesia, diantaranya; kemampuan matematis (27,23%), aplikasi teknologi (13,28%), dan proses kognitif (9,92%). Beberapa topik yang belum banyak berkembang di Indonesia yaitu filosofi dan sejarah pendidikan matematika, pembelajaran matematika anak usia dini, dan topik terkait multikultural, multilingual, dan kesetaraan dalam pendidikan matematika. Sementara itu, integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam pembelajaran matematika merupakan topik penelitian yang menjadi ciri khas di Indonesia.

Abstract

Self-Efficacy is one of the factors that support the success of students in participating in the lecture process, but this is not paid much attention to, causing students to experience low grades and have not been able to develop themselves. This study was conducted to see the achievement self-efficacy of students who offer space analytic geometry courses and the achievement of the dimensions self-efficacy of students who offer space analytic geometry courses. The purpose of this study was to determine the achievement self-efficacy dimensions self-efficacy in learning space analytic geometry. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative and qualitative research. The subjects of this study consisted of 62 students for the 2020/2021 academic year who were selected from high, medium, and low ability levels. From the results of data analysis, it was found that: (1) the achievement of self-efficacy in learning space analytic geometry was included in the medium category, and (2) the achievement of each dimension of self-efficacy in learning space analytic geometry was also included in the medium category.

Abstract

The community service activities carried out aim to train educators so they can utilize and apply the use of the Google sites in creating web-based learning media. The training, which was carried out through community service activities, was centered on teachers at SMP Negeri 85 Central Maluku, Hatu Village, Central Maluku Regency, Maluku. The training is a form of effort to support the government in education units in improving the quality of human resources in the era of Society 5.0. Activities were carried out using lecture, demonstration, and question and answer methods with the number of participants involved as many as 14 people who were then used as respondents. The instrument used is a questionnaire that aims to determine the level of an understanding or initial and final knowledge of the teacher regarding the training material provided. The results of the activities carried out show that before the training, it was found that on average 53% of the training participants did not understand, 34% had understood, and 13% were known to have understood the Google sites and its use. On the other hand, after the training, the average lack of understanding decreased by 51% to 2% and as many as 85% of the training participants became familiar with the Google sites and its use as a web-based learning medium. These results indicate that the training carried out has increased understanding and has had a good and positive impact on the trainees

Abstract

Mata kuliah kalkulus diferensial dan integral merupakan dasar-dasar matematika yang penting dalam memahami dan menerapkan kalkulus lanjut. Mahasiswa dapat mengambil mata kuliah kalkulus lanjut setelah lulus mata kuliah kalkulus diferensial dan kalkulus integral. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pemahaman kalkulus diferensial dan kalkulus integral dengan hasil belajar kalkulus lanjut mahasiswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Keguruan Universitas Pattimura tahun 2020 yang telah mengambil mata kuliah kalkulus diferensial, kalkulus integral, dan kalkulus lanjut, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 36 orang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi berganda untuk mengetahui bentuk dan pengaruh antara variabel independen dan dependen. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data disimpulkan bahwa terdapat kontribusi yang signifikan antara hasil belajar kalkulus diferensial terhadap hasil belajar kalkulus lanjut. Sumbangan pengaruh hasil belajar kalkulus diferensial dan kalkulus integral secara bersama-sama (simultan) terhadap hasil belajar kalkulus lanjut yakni sebesar 55,6%. Kontribusi relatif hasil belajar kalkulus diferensial terhadap hasil belajar kalkulus lanjut berdasarkan hasil perhitungan diperoleh 34,71% sedangkan sumbangan relatif hasil belajar kalkulus integral mencapai 65,29% terhadap hasil belajar kalkulus lanjut. Sehingga menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara hasil belajar kalkulus diferensial dan integral terhadap hasil belajar kalkulus lanjut.

Abstract

Mathematics picture story books are learning media that can help students learn mathematics content both independently or through active interaction in the classroom. This study aims to develop learning media for mathematics picture story books on Fraction material and determine its feasibility for grade IV elementary school students. This research is an R&D research with ADDIE model which consists of stages 1) analyze, 2) design, 3) development, 4) implementation, and 5) evaluate. The subjects in this study were 40 fourth grade students at SD Negeri 318 Maluku Tengah, SD Negeri 254 Maluku Tengah and SD Kristen Tiouw. Before being tested, this book was first validated by material experts and media experts. This research produces a product in the form of illustrated storybooks as a medium for learning mathematics on Fraction material. Based on the assessment of material experts get a validity percentage of 89% category "Very Valid" while the assessment of media expert validators get a validity percentage of 92% category "Very Valid" to be used in grade IV elementary students. Based on the response of students, it gives a practicality value of 93.86% in the "Very Practical" category for picture storybook media products. Based on the test results, the average student score is 71.77 and it is above the Minimum Completeness Criteria, meaning that the picture story book is considered "very effective" to be used publicly. Because it meets all the criteria, the picture story book is said to be "very feasible" to use. This picture story book can help students improve learning outcomes and foster student curiosity so as to increase understanding and reasoning about mathematics, especially fraction material
