Abstract

Jenis tanah yang dimiliki oleh STO Padang yaitu pasir basah dengan nilai tahanan jenis tanahnya 200ohm, sehingga didapat nilai resistansi tahanan pentanahan tunggal sebesar 0,9129 ohm, dengan nilai pentanahan tersebut telah memenuhi persyaratan untuk pengamanan perangkat telekomunikasi yang berkisar antara 1-3 ohm, namun untuk mendapatkan nilai R sekecil mungkin perlu dilakukan tambahan batang elektroda sampai dengan 10 buah batang elektroda, sehingga didapatkan nilai akhir R sebesar 0.224 ohm. Pada saat ini jumlah finial yang digunakan untuk melindungi seluruh area adalah 5 buah dengan panjang 150cm, jumlah tersebut dapat melindungi area sejumlah 1934,397 m2 sedangkan luas area keseluruhan 1500 cm2 , apabila kita menggunakan 4 buah finial dengan panjang 150 cm seluruh area telah terlindung yaitu seluas 1547,5176 m2

Abstract

The development of science and technology is currently very rapid, especially in the field of technology that affects people's lives to move forward, one of which is using robotics, in principle, the purpose of creating robots is to facilitate human work, especially since the progress of the times demands effective and efficient human work. For example, in cleaning the house, a robot was made that can help someone clean his house. This robot will later clean the floor of the house from dirt in the form of dust. This cleaning robot will be controlled with an Android application. That has been made previously and will be combined with a wireless robot control using the HC-05 Bluetooth module, which will transmit control from android to Arduino Uno as the brain of this room cleaning robot, and will process data. From android applications such as forward and backward, and turn commands and also the command  to turn on and turn off the vacuum cleaner which can also be controlled from this Android application. For the movement of the robot itself, it will use a PG28 DC Motor which will be controlled by the BTS7960 Driver. From the results of tests

Abstract

Solar power plants generate a source of direct current voltage. Then, the source of reverse voltage is generated using an inverter. The results of this study show that the specimen can be observed and controlled for 24 hours through a website through the Internet of Things technology. (IoT). It was designed using ESP266 to function as a kWh meter and is equipped with a monitoring and remote-control module. With a 220 Ω barrier value as a barrier variable, the operational reinforcement test series on the photovoltaic surveillance system has an accuracy of 97.34%. The maximum voltage generated is 225 V, with a photovoltic output at a current of 0.8 A and a minimum voltage of 185 V, so the current value is 0.7 A.Keywords: ESP8266, Internet of Things, Photovoltaic, Op-Amp

Abstract

Creating a system that can track the position of sunlight to increase the efficiency of receiving light by solar panels, as well as monitor the power generated by solar panels based on the internet of things. The results of this study indicate that increasing solar panel power using a solar tracking system for static solar panels can optimize the output power of solar panels by 27.4%, while increasing solar panel power using a solar tracking system for solar tracking with a fresnel lens can optimize power. solar panel output by 14%.

Abstract

According to the solar insolation map, Indonesia has a daily intensity of solar radiation of 4.8 kW/m per day. The potential of solar radiation is highly exploitable and is the most promising source of energy in the future, the energy generated by the sun is unlimited compared to the increasingly depleting fossil energy sources. Many energy experts are already competing to find new discoveries about environmentally friendly alternative energy sources, one of which is solar cells, although efficiency today still requires further consideration. In this study, the authors used the Wemos module with the ESP 8266 type that can be integrated with the Wi-Fi system as its controller, as well as using a temperature sensor with the DHT11 type to detect the temperature in the room and use the LDR sensor as a light intensity detector or as a lux which can be monitored remotely using an internet connection. Light intensity and temperature monitoring results are obtained with light intensity values and temperature values using the application of the highest value = 1005 lux, the lowest value is = 435 lux. For the highest value of the temperature of = 320 Celsius, for the lowest of = 240 Celsius, in sunlight conditions at peak, the resulting value is the light intensity of 1005 lux and the temperature value of 32 ° Celsius which indicates that the weather conditions are very hot.

Abstract

In the Hexacopter flight control system, there are three very influential movements, namely Pitch, Roll and Yaw movements. Roll movement is very important to note because it affects the direction of the plane's flight. This movement is strongly influenced by the system's dynamic response to changes in hardware characteristics and the influence of changes in wind direction and speed from external systems. For this reason, this research is offered to implement a control system that can adapt to these dynamic disturbances. This study proposes the application of a proportional integral derivative (PID) control system, where constant values can adjust to dynamic changes in the system. These constant values can adjust to changes in errors and delta errors at any time. then a fuzzy logic controller (FLC) algorithm is applied, to make the constant values adaptable. The design of Fuzzification and Defuzzification is based on the maximum error and delta error limits. After real-plant testing, system performance is obtained as follows: settling time = 24mS; peak time 21mS; rise time = 9mS; delay time = 4.4mS; percent overshoot and steady state error = 1%.

Abstract

In this research, we used a variety of methods that can be applied to the PLTM Salido to address the very low voltage terminal problem of the generator. This is especially true in situations where peak loads occur, which requires these plants to be removed from the system. The power flow analysis is performed using the ETAP Power Station program to simulate the search for operating schemes that can fix the situation. The results of the analysis show that through the injection of reactive power from the generator to the PLN network and the optimization of the governor settings, PLTM Salido can generate more energy by supplying power to PLN networks, even under peak load conditions. This allows PLTM Salido to increase the amount of energy sent from the power plant to the South Coast distribution network. After optimization, the value increased to 14.06 MWh per day from the previous 10.64 MWh By adding one more power plant unit, the energy supply of the PLTM salido could increase to 22 MWh a day.

Abstract

One of the fish preservation techniques that are widely used today is the smoking technique. In general, the smoking process was still traditional and used a conventional oven. This method is an easy way to smoke fish. The purpose of this study was to determine the efficiency of the fish smoking device using a horizontal rotary system. This smoking device consists of a smoking chamber, a furnace, a rotary catfish holder, a DC motor, gears, and a chain. The capacity of this rotary system smoker is 9 kg of wet fish. The fish used in this study were catfish and skipjack fish. This smoking uses the result of burning cinnamon. Cinnamon will produce smoke which is useful for smoking fish. The weight of wet fish in one smoke in this study was 8 kg. The smoking method has a standard ratio of wet fish weight to dry fish weight of 4: 1. For smoking catfish, after smoking for 2 hours at a temperature of 80 oC - 90 oC, the weight of catfish becomes 2 kg. For smoking skipjack tuna, after smoking for 2.5 hours at a temperature of 80 oC - 90 oC, the weight of skipjack tuna becomes 2 Kg. From the test results, it can be concluded that the rotary smoking system is very good for use as a fish smoking tool because it has a high enough efficiency compared to traditional tools such as ovens where the traditional smoking method takes 36 hours and the oven system smoking method takes as long as 12 hours.

Abstract

The energy crisis is a major problem in Indonesia, especially the problem of electrical energy. Electrical energy is energy that is important for humanity throughout the world. We can see from people's activities that cannot be separated from the use of electricity, such as the use of devices and technology that are currently used all using electricity. This phenomenon proves that electricity is very important and cannot be separated from community activities. For some time now, experts have changed their views regarding the use of energy resources in Indonesia. Be aware that fossil fuels, the main energy source, will be threatened with scarcity in the coming years. This research method uses a design/prototype method by making equipment and carrying out a series of tests and collecting data. Based on data that has been in sunny and cloudy weather, solar panels can produce the highest voltage of 17.79 which occurs between 12.30 to 16.30. while the lowest voltage produced by solar panels is around 12,6 Volts for the highest temperature of 34ºC for the highest current is 4,4 A and the highest light intensity is 64422 lux.

Abstract

Obtained conditions in which the Neo6 GPS module can detect the Earth's coordinates in the form of latitudes and volumes as well as the speed of the vehicle's movement to its coordinates. The app knows where you are based on the coordinates, speed, and impact of the car. In addition, the app sends speed warning notifications. In addition, the application can detect the correct or incorrect username and password to protect the view form. In addition, for research on a straight road and at a constant speed, the accuracy of the equipment will be tested by collecting GPS speed data and actual speed data if there is a significant change in speed in a short period of time. With four vehicle collision detection positions, testing this system yields an accurate conditional value. If an accident occurs, it will be immediately sent to the application and sent to a vehicle crash site used, as well as to the firebase database.
