Abstract

Quality education will produce quality human resources. Quality human resources must be the target of educational institutions to achieve it. The success or failure of achieving these goals will be seen from how the educational process is carried out by educational institutions. Teachers as educational staff are one of the determining factors for the success of educational goals, because teachers directly deal with students, to carry out their functions as educators. Teachers are educators who have the ability to class management. So that the teacher becomes the main factor in creating a conducive classroom atmosphere. Teachers need strategies to improve classroom management needed during learning. Class management provided by the teacher will make students excited because the classroom conditions remain conducive. The purpose of this research is to find out how the classroom teacher's strategy and the classroom teacher's constraints are in classroom management for students. This research method is used with the type of field research in the form of qualitative descriptive research. Data comes from primary and secondary sources which are collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques were carried out by going through four stages of data collection, data conventions, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. the validity of the data was tested for credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability. The results of research conducted at SD Negeri 018 Rambah Samo found that teachers already have a strategy in class management in the form of organizing the classroom, setting class rules, distributing materials and tools, managing work/tasks, maintaining appropriate behavior. Based on the results of research at SD Negeri 018 Rambah Samo, it can be concluded that classroom management is by arranging classrooms, setting class rules, distributing materials and tools, managing work/tasks, maintaining appropriate behavior.

Abstract

Masalah lingkungan menjadi ancaman, terutama bagi masyarakat di daerah yang kurang sadar lingkungan. Dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, kebiasaan yang berkaitan dengan masalah lingkungan menyebabkan masyarakat tidak peduli atau kurang peduli terhadap masalah lingkungan. Ada beberapa alasan ketidakpedulian ini, salah satunya adalah kurangnya pendidikan lingkungan. Berdasarkan survei di Kabupaten Rokan Hulu belum ada sekolah yang disertifikat sebagai sekolah Adiwiyata, yaitu sekolah berbudaya lingkungan. Program Adiwiyata ini memberikan dampak yang baik dalam mewujudkan masyarakat cinta lingkungan. Berkenaan Madrasah Adiwiyata, MA Nurul Iman Mahato masih belum menjadi madrasah adiwiyata. Oleh karena itu, MA Nurul Iman Mahato dipilih sebagai mitra agar dapat dilakukan Stimulus Madrasah Adiwiyata. Pelaksanaan Stimulus Peduli Lingkungan di MA Nurul Iman Mahato Menuju Madrasyah Adiwiyata telah berhasil dilaksanakan sesuai dengan rencana. Adapun kegiatan yang telah berhasil dilaksanakan adalah (1) kegiatan sosialisasi stimulus peduli lingkungan dan (2) kegiatan lingkungan berbasis partisipatif yaitu penanaman pohon bersama. Kegiatan stimulasi peduli lingkungan di MA Nurul Iman Mahato menuju madrasah adiwiyata telah berhasil dilaksanakan. Terlihat antusias masyarakat madrasah dalam mengikuti kegiatan tersebut. Kegiatan ini menumbuhkan dan membangkitkan semangat masyarakat madrasah dalam rangka menuju madrasah adiwiyata

Abstract

This research aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes in Citizenship Education (PKn) through the implementation of problem-based learning models in the fourth grade of SD Negeri 008 Bonai Darussalam. This type of research is classified as classroom action research (CAR). The research was conducted in 2 cycles, with each cycle consisting of 2 meetings, and in each meeting there are 4 stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation and tests. The subjects of this research are 25 students from Class IV A of SD Negeri 008 Bonai Darussalam. The data analysis technique used both qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Problem Based Instruction (PBI) model can improve the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 008 Bonai Darussalam. In the first cycle, student engagement was still low with a completeness of only 48% in the first meeting, which increased to 64% in the second meeting. In the second cycle, there was a significant improvement with the learning completeness reaching 76% in the first meeting and 84% in the second meeting. The activities of both students and teachers were also categorized as very good. Therefore, the PBI model has been proven to be effective in enhancing learning outcomes and student engagement in Social Studies.

Abstract

The use of game-based learning media, Wordwall, in mathematics education has a positive impact on improving student learning outcomes. The purpose of this research is to analyze the constraints and impacts encountered in the use of game- based learning media to enhance the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth- grade students at SD Negeri 023 Kunto Darussalam. The subjects of the study consisted of 28 fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 023 Kunto Darussalam. This research utilized the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, collected through observation, documentation, tests of student learning outcomes, and interviews. The results showed that with the conventional method, only 25% of students achieved minimum competency standards (KKM), whereas after the use of the Wordwall game-based learning media, student learning outcomes improved by 92.86%, with very good criteria in the assessments by teachers and students. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the advancement of technology in the education sector improves students' ability to understand and master mathematics independently or collaboratively.
