Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran kepala sekolah sebagai manajer sekolah dalam meningkatkan layanan administrasi tata usaha di SMK Negeri 1 Doloksanggul. Bentuk penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatatif dengan pendekatan wawancara. Peneliti mengumpulkan data dari informan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini, landasan teori yang digunakan adalah peran kepala sekolah sebagai manajer untuk meningkatkan layanan tata usaha. Teori yang digunakan berdasarkan tulisan Supatmi dan Masluyah Suib yakni: (a) Kepala sekolah sebagai manajer merencanakan (planning) yaitu menyusun program kerja tata usaha; (b) Kepala sekolah sebagai manajer melakukan pengorganisasian (organizing) pembagian tugas; (c) Kepala sekolah sebagai manajer dalam pengawasan (controling) kunjungan langsung keruangan tata usaha; (d) Kepala sekolah sebagai manajer dalam evaluasi (evaluating) menilai hasil kerja staf tata usaha. Hasil dari penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa peran kepala sekolah sebagai manajer dalam meningkatkan layanan administrasi tata usaha di SMK Negeri 1 Doloksanggul sudah maksimal.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the positive influence of organizational culture on affective commitment, (2) the positive influence of participative leadership on affective commitment, (3) the positive influence of intrinsic motivation on affective commitment and (4) the simultaneous positive influence of organizational culture, participative leadership on affective commitment of junior high school teachers in Tarutung sub-district, North Tapanuli district. The research population was all junior high school teachers in Tarutung sub-district, totaling 165 people. To determine the sample, a random sampling technique was used. The sample size was determined at 35%, obtained 58 people. The research data were obtained through a questionnaire with a Likert scale weight. The questionnaire was first tested on 30 teachers at Junior High School 1, Siatas Barita Sub-district, North Tapanuli  district,  to determine the validity and reliability of the research instrument. The analysis requirement test includes (1) normality test, using non-parametric statistical test, the data is normally distributed (2) linearity test, the value is more =0.335, =0.581, =0.790 >0.05 (3) multicollinearity test, the standard error value is low and multicollinearity is not detected, (4) relationship test (correlation) is obtained that each variable is related to variable Y. Where  is greater than . The results of the study concluded that (1) organizational culture has a positive effect on affective commitment with an  value of 0.437, meaning that organizational culture has a positive effect on teacher affective commitment of 43.7%, (2) participative leadership on affective commitment, the  value is 0.264, meaning that leadership has a positive effect on teacher affective commitment of 26.4%. (3) intrinsic motivation on affective commitment, the  value is 0.429, meaning that intrinsic motivation has a positive effect on teacher affective commitment of 42.9%, (4) From the results of the F test, it can be concluded that organizational culture, participative leadership and intrinsic motivation simultaneously positive influence affective commitment. The contribution of the three X variables is 25.30%. Thus, it is concluded that organizational culture, participative leadership, and intrinsic motivation simultaneously have a positive effect on the affective commitment of teachers at State Middle Schools in Tarutung Sub-District, North Tapanuli District.

Abstract

Variables This study aims to determine the effect of Principal Academic Supervision and Teacher Competence individually or together on the Quality of Education, with the hypothesis that there is a positive and significant effect between Principal Academic Supervision and Teacher Competence. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method. The population of the study was all junior high school teachers in Doloksanggul District, totaling 176 people with a sample of 125 people. The research instrument was a closed questionnaire, which was compiled by the researcher based on the research variable indicators. The questionnaire trial was conducted on 30 teachers outside the research sample, and has been tested with validity and reliability tests. The results of the study show that: 1). There is a positive effect between Principal Academic Supervision on the Quality of Education obtained from tcount>ttable, namely 5.680>1.980, with a large influence of 42%, and there is a significant effect obtained from Y ̂ = 19.929 + 0.680X_1. 2). There is an influence between Teacher Competence on the Quality of Education of 40.1% with tcount>ttable, namely 5.233>1.980, 3). There is a positive and significant influence between the Principal's Academic Supervision and Teacher Competence together on the Quality of Education of 52.6% with Fcount>Ftable, namely 67.827>3.00, thus H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted.
